Another new story on Andrew today. Photo's have emerged showing that on Epstein's desk, there were emails regarding Epstein paying debts owed by Andrew/Sarah to staff:

Why on Earth was a Prince of England having his staff paid by a sex trafficker?
Doesn't seem "too honourable" to me.

Epstein Had Emails from Staff of Ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson on His Desk in Newly Shared Photos

New photos from Jeffrey Epstein's New York home appear to show an email exchange between former staffers for ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Then it was pitch at the palace, again a charity but with a sidearm that he siphoned off of I remember correctly

While what we do know of what went on at Pitch@Palace is jaw droppingly enraging, I doubt we've heard the half of it.

Whilst I think the late Queen did a lot of things well her judgement over Andrew was very flawed. I also put blame on the men in grey suits who must have known what a grift it was.

MidWayThruJanuary · 18/01/2026 21:27

I wonder where SF is hanging out these days.

Not so sure.

I think most of the blame for knowing of the extent of the grift lies at the feet of right-hand woman and odious Amanda Thirkell.

MidWayThruJanuary · 18/01/2026 21:32

Most definitely @CathyorClaire
She is a piece of work

MidWayThruJanuary · 18/01/2026 21:33

I’m surprised she has not been more promoted in the Epstein questions

She always manages to land on her feet, one way or another. Her ability to grift and self-promote is endless so I'm sure she's tapped another rich friend who can help her out with a place to stay.

Yes, I agree Andrew would've encouraged them, they could've said no. We are lying low for a while after what this family has done. But no... front and centre of the royal family as usual.
I have DCs the same age, they would not be so compliant (if this comes from him)

I'd guess the blood princesses are desperately trying to keep their place in the hierarchy despite their parents' banishment and will turn up to the opening of a side gate if it keeps them in the mix. I'm sure they report titbits back to the daddy bear.

They also need to stay in the game to ensure sheikhs and oligarchs continue to ply them with goodies. They're no use to anyone if they don't have the right connections.

She absolutely failed to do her job.

I agree.

Reports emerging that they were 'pushed into' (yeah, right) attending the Christmas jollies so MW could find out what the family were saying about him.

I doubt there was much gossip when they were around. Maybe they were hiding behind the curtains and lurking in corridors to find out 😁

She did but she was very well rewarded for it and has gone on to further plush appointments.

It's baffling how some people keep failing upwards. Is it because those around them don't want to admit they made a mistake in promoting them?

MidWayThruJanuary · 19/01/2026 09:10

I would think so. And there is no oversight, no accountability and no sense of responsibility.
And that started right at the top with TLQ and continues with KC and more than likely PW.

I think its more that the appointments they make are people who are in awe of them or who are prepared to do what they say. I think part of the job description is to do as the Royals say and then take the blame when it all goes wrong. They then get rewarded for their loyalty.

That might be true of those who work for the royals but i know several cases where people failed but were promoted and then got a different job that was an even bigger promotion and failed at that but got another job etc etc Promotion beyond competence is depressingly common.

Lalgarh · 19/01/2026 09:33

A particular gift for those who've been privately educated. They learn to have profound confidence and expectations of greatness.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffell Johnson perhaps

Commonly known as the Peter Principle. No idea who Peter was though!

There definitely needs to be an investigation in to this! It’s a while since I read the book but didn’t he siphon off 2% for himself? If any other civil servant did that, they would be facing fraud charges wouldn’t they?

What were the board members doing? Presumably this anomaly became evident in the accounts? And everyone stayed silent?

Similarly, if AMW was hanging around with a Chinese spy, what were his security detail doing?

So much complicit silence on all fronts and yet people still argue that the RF have very little power or influence!

And that influence continues doesn’t it because no one appears to be investigating now! It’s all tumbleweed again! Move on, nothing to see!

These reports from the ever-mysterious "sources" seem a blatant attempt by the York sisters to stay on Charles' and William's good sides, don't you think?

I'd love to know what qualifications they have that entitle them to speak at all these events in the Middle East, World Economic Forum, Davos etc. Yes, they both had jobs but it also seems like they went straight in at director/VP level at relatively young ages, without the experience usually needed for such roles.

It definitely was so in the NHS 20 years ago, with no supervision structure or effective complaints procedure either.

MrsLeonFarrell · 19/01/2026 09:51

That's the most annoying part. Andrew should have been a catalyst for change. I'm a constitutional monarchist but politicians are failing the country in not exercising their rights to reform what needs reforming.

Yes I cat remember the exact details but he was pocketing a percentage of the deals made through pitch at the palace, which was was a charity set up to help small businesses network with investors at Buckingham Palace. The whole thing stinks, yet he was able to get away with it.

Oh yes, he was pocketing a percentage of any deal made. And not just as a one off, but for 3 years!
It was plain and simple a vehicle for him to enrich himself, he wasn't helping anyone, but himself.
And didn't he award the top prize to a friend of his, Selman Turk who showered him and one of the daughters with money. After he won (with a crap presentation) he instructed a friend to pay Andrew £750,000. He had already given him £350,000. And everyone was gobsmacked he had won, because he barely did a pitch, and forgot his words. The money side of it is all in court documents before anyone thinks I am just casting slurs!

Oh and Turk put £225,000 into Sarah's bank account and she said on record he is a 'wonderful man'.
I would love to know why Turk lived in Frogmore House, a crown estate property. Who in god's name allowed that? Eugenie had a wodge paid into her bank account too, dressed up as a wedding present

Even now a quarter of a million was taken out the PitchPalace account on 4th Jan this year...

Crikey! Yes. I’d forgotten about the Turk! Very concerning indeed.

That’s the thing about Entitled! It’s packed full of so many incidents of wrongdoing that it’s difficult to assimilate them all!

Exactly. Last I heard they were both working in art galleries, and spent most of their time on holiday, so even then their 'work' seems to have been getting their names on the stationery. Hardly qualifies you for speaking at Davos. Their titles are the only reason they ate there.
