Well, if you put it like that, maybe I'm wrong.

At least you are thinking about it. Not everything is binary, as we know.

I think we need to wait and see if any victims come forward. In the meantime, stripping his titles etc cos of guilt by association seems fair to me. Just from the point of view of bringing ill repute.

I am glad you are thinking about it, it is easy to think he was a bit of a "playboy" or whatever but this/he is really sleazy.

@Zippedydodah Are daughters responsible for the behaviour of a parent? Since when?

ExitViaGiftShop · 24/12/2025 15:19

Expect a load of frantic ‘good news’ stories to flow from the RF; they will be wheeling the kids out tomorrow as they enter church ( awwww bless them). No doubt there will be a heartwarming ‘cancer journey update’ shortly. The privileged cancer journey more like.

I want to see a massive donation to Rape crisis and to charities that support trafficked children. They need to hide in their palaces for while ( and pay market rent)

I’m fucking sick of the lot of them.

ItsDarkNow · 24/12/2025 15:24

@OhDear111
No they are not. But when they continue where their parents left off fhen their own behaviour gets called into question. Why is Beatrice schmoozing with banks in Saudi Arabia for example.

simpsonthecat · 24/12/2025 15:57

I wish it were just Banks

Is it Beatrice or Eugenie who is apparently 'advising on tech'in the ME? They both have degrees in art or something and no experience in the tech industry at all! Its so transparent. And suddenly they have the money to buy their mum a £5m house that gets sold for a loss a couple of years later! Anyone else would be investigated for money laundering.

Privileged cancer journey?

I have to admit, AMW comes across as so monumentally stupid, I did think before this that maybe he was an old perv that didn't know the full extent of what Epstein was up to. But this email... He knew, didn't he. He was a part of it, and he thought that his privilege amounted to not needing consent. Horrible man.

The RF really need to change their PR strategy on this. William could come out and say publicly that this is awful, he does not support Andrew, and he and Kate are starting a charity or something to support the victims. It would change the optics completely on this. But the RF PR machine still seem to think it's 1982 and that the occasional photo of William having a pint in a pub makes him relatable.

Coffeeishot · 24/12/2025 17:25

Yes he knew although he is thick and entitled so he saw these young women as entertainment and not actual people and definitely not equal to his own Dds.

NewAgeNewMe · 24/12/2025 17:33

Said before and I’ll say it again. All those men and only a woman behind bars. Those poor girls.

I hope all involved (men & girls) get the justice they deserve. Andrew is a repugnant, reprehensible excuse of a human being, but he wasn’t the only one. Shame on them all.

@KimHwn So agree with this. AFAIC the royal family's reputation is in the pan with all of this but they never take meaningful action. All my life, and I'm old lol, they have always just stuck their heads in the sand and hope it all goes away. They did with Diana, Kate's illness, Harry and Meghan, Andrew, Sarah. It's just not good enough. They need forward thinking PR people. The palace seems to be reactive not what they should be... proactive. Looking for possible problems that might arise. Not fire fighting when they do. I think the courtiers, aides, PR people are useless.

I completely agree.

This is the RF board though, so we will mostly discuss Andrew’s part in this.

I suppose people might assume that but it doesn’t necessarily mean that. Inappropriate could just be an adult willing to shag him as he was married? So generally sleezy and grim rather than illegal?

I think we know and we have learned today he has kept association with Nygard who also had an island and similar things happened. He was also prosecuted but turns out he was visited by A

In fairness to the late Queen it could also be interpreted that she paid VG because she recognised that her claim was valid and that compensation was deserved.

I am not in any way defending the entitled scum which is AMB but the Queen paid a sum which was agreed by VG and her legal team.

Of course no amount of money can ever change the enormous damage suffered but money was what was the only remedy possible as with all civil claims.
It would be for the authorities to bring a criminal case, not VG.

Nobody can know the conversations the Queen had with her son and perhaps the 12 million pounds was the bit she could control even if he would never face the truth and own up.

By paying she effectively outed him as guilty and must have been aware of that.

Who's money did she use......Great British Taxpayer as usual

Craftysue · 24/12/2025 18:24

He's vile and deserves everything he gets. He's so arrogant I bet he believes he's the victim in all this. I'm also curious as to why no one else has been implicated

ruffler45 · 24/12/2025 18:31

Edited

I think much of the problem is that they are told from birth that they are the top of the tree, enabled, never challenged, never questioned, bowed and curtseyed to etc so they think they know best. So they can employ the worlds best PR but if they say something they don't like or if they don't want to listen to them they don't have to.
They may love all of the subservience but they clearly are not a bright family as a result. They need to take advice from people who know better than them, and employ people who are not afraid to challenge them but I suspect they don't. They think they can live in the times when they could do what they liked and people would just fall on their swords for them, take the blame for them and cover things up (like Michael Fawcett) Then it comes back to bite them on the bum but they carry on. Its never their fault. They are the family that provides the Head of State yet simultaneously they are innocent little lambs who don't know what's going on right under their noses.
