I cannot recall any poster saying the Late Queen did the right thing .

I don’t recall any vitriol for the Queen protecting an alleged predator, not even a tenth of the one reserved for H&M. It’s the most fascinating thing…but let Meghan be cringe and sell jam or adapt a tv show, oh no.

Facts are not as fun as making sweeping , false statements.

If I had the time I’d look through post histories and assess the energy people have for criticising H&M compared to folks doing actual illegal things lol cash for honours etc

TBF Harold got outrageously bumped up (as so many royals do) even in armed forces he never set foot in. Had he not flounced he'd still be poncing around (as so many royals do) in unearned bling.

There were quite a few who justified her paying the victim off. At least one was a very regular poster who seems to have name changed now, but it’s very obvious what their new name is. They said things like she didn’t blame the queen for paying it and that everyone would do it for their son. 🙄

I seem to remember criticizing HMTLQ for her parenting skills. There are also several recent threads criticizing Andrew and Fergie.

I don’t remember exact wording which is why I said they said things ‘like’. I was replying to a poster saying they didn’t recall anyone saying the queen did the right thing, as there were posters saying that.

I do remember a lot of posters (myself included) saying that QE2 had gone right down in their estimation over the way she dealt with Andrew (the payout especially, but also allegedly sheltering him from legal service).

The Yorks and QE2 hit rock bottom for me a long time ago. I want to know what the rest of them knew/know, frankly, the whole rotten lot - every branch of that family around the globe.

There were, but there were also a lot of posters who defended her for paying off a victim of her son’s abuse unfortunately. Posters were saying parents would do this for their children, that she was amazing, despite knowing she paid off someone her son abused.

Saying that parents would do something like that for their children isn’t defending her, it’s a statement of fact. People do protect their children, even when morally wrong.

No, good parents would not pay off a woman who their son had raped and be complicit in a cover up. If you would, that’s for you to question your own morals. She also wasn’t just a parent, she was the Queen. People were saying she was amazing and faultless which is quite frankly, bollocks. These same people were questioning Meghan and Harry’s morals. Jokers.

I agree with another poster who said that the criticisms of Harry and Meghan have become laughable .
Their detractors still don’t understand that their negativity ( the detractor’s) keeps the Sussexes booked , busy and wealthy .

I don’t recall any one saying TLQ was right in paying off VG, nor do I recall any posters slagging off Doria and certainly not supporting what Carol Malone said on air. Just more 🥨 to defend their idols.
