Well if this isn’t set for release until after Meet Me At The Lake, probably best not to hold your breath - that was announced with much fanfare more than 2 years ago and doesn’t seem even to have a director yet 🤷‍♀️

Well as they seem to have the Midas Touch in reverse , I wouldn’t get too excited!

It does seem to have gone quiet, although the writer said on insta (not too long ago) that it was still moving forward.

Cautiously optimistic, probably because I love the source material.

Why? Meghan’s a Hollywood actor according to her cv and Harry has done acting skits as recently as the Stephen Colbert show a couple of weeks ago, to rapturous and clearly genuine whooping and applause. He actually played the part of an auditioning prince - very meta! Very hilarious couple.

They are obviously wildly successful and popular in what might be termed the acting space.

I would pay good money to watch them take the lead roles.

No, that isn’t not based on this book, it’s just a film that happens to have the same name. It’s a really old film isn’t it? I think the book is only about 5/6 ish years old.

Meet Me By The Lake chatter is quiet, admittedly but there’s no sign of shelving just yet.

Netflix never officially announced it and their contract with the Sussexes is over.

It isn't going to happen. I'd bet money on it.
