We have loads of friends. 😂

We have all stopped sending cards over the last few years - at least 7 years in our case. Maybe it’s an age thing? Not that we’re young (53), but my mother in law still sends cards but no-one of our generation does and my adult kids would laugh at the very idea.

I agree, Camilla gets better and better. She’s so well suited to crowns, big hair and bling.

Not sure about younger looking though. My friend saw her and Charles close up at a garden party this year. She said Camilla looks every one of her 80 (or thereabouts) years. She looks to me like she’s enjoyed all the booze, fags and sunshine. Good for her.

I like that Camilla hosts a lot of smallish events at Clarence House. There's this party every year, receptions for DV survivors, etc. I hppe Kate will start to do something similar in her early years work.

I’m with you @daisychain01re the PoW’s face fungus. It really doesn’t suit him. He was so handsome when younger. What a shame he didn’t use Regaine.

I think it suits him a lot better than the egg head look, especially as he's a bit heavier on the lower part of his face and has a slightly pointy Hanoverian forehead. I think he looks like kings of yore - Edward VII and George V, as well as the unfortunate last czar of Russia, so it's a traditional regal look.

She looks incredibly happy - I think that's it and always engaged with the public she meets.

This is always such a mystery to me too. It seems extremely arrogant, strongly suggesting that they believe Christmas is all about... them! It may be a little different if you have a baby or very young child and you put a lovely photo of them on the card; but adults? Perfect if it IS all about you - order of service for your wedding or funeral or invitation to your big birthday celebration; but Christmas?!

I don't know what the score is with Charles and William, whether they have kept/are planning to keep the status of head of the Church of England; but you might just think that they'd bear that at least a tiny bit in mind when choosing a picture for their Christmas card, showing what Christmas supposedly represents to them.

I suspect the Royals send photo cards because they’re well aware that the recipients would like all their friends to know that they received a card from the RF, which would be tricky to communicate if the card just featured a robin or something.

Are they? I've seen a lot featured on TV and in papers/magazines where they appear to be on the front; but if they do actually have a proper Christmassy picture on the front and a photo of themselves inside, I guess that's not quite as arrogant.

It's still mightily weird when it's just a posed photo of adults, though.

They’re very styled but at the same I find the composition a mess. Is that the King holding the baby? He looks like he’s about to hand it over to whoever’s behind the camera.

The Spanish RF look like they’re photoshopped in.

I love the naturalness of this! It feels like a peek into a family moment.

But what's with them all wearing matching colours? Is it some sort of tradition?

It’s a cute, candid photo but it reminds me of that episode of The Windsors when Camilla replaces Kate with a robot and Meghan can’t tell which Kate is the robot after robot Kate asks her if she wants to help her colour coordinate the children’s wardrobe 🤣

It's a weird one. It's like those reels that show you how to walk in a silly fashion and get natural photos . We've never succeeded 😂
