Here's a summary for you - it's full of British traditions like cracker pulling which she explains 🙄 , how to decorate a tree with lights and wearing matching pyjamas with her friends. Harry appears for the last 5 mins.

Seems she getting roasted for these notes on Reddit etc. I’m not on it or TikTok, X etc though.

Your opinion
I don't judge other mothers. It's mean

What if you found out another mother was mistreating their child ? Would you judge them ?

Rhaidimiddim · 03/12/2025 22:08

jumpingthehighjump · 03/12/2025 20:22

I'm 😲

Can we not tell our children we love them for whatever reason, or does that apply just to Meghan?

"I love you because you are brave."

So if I get the night terrors and aren't being brave....

Yes, Catherine looking incredible, as does Camilla.

Just saw photos, what a fabulous tiara. I feel sorry for Thomas Markle but I don’t quite see why he’s headline news rather than the German state visit with Catherine in full bling.

Meghan's father in intensive care - wonder if this will be the time for him to see his grandchildren and her.

Why would it be? Is she meant to forget the reasons she cut him off in the first place just because he’s now ill?

My only thoughts when my father was in intensive care and later died was ‘not my problem’.

Of course

There is a big difference between someone who really mistreats their child and abuses them, hits them, neglects their children... and a mother who is being judged on here as not an instinctively maternal mother when you know absolutely nothing about their parenting
Just mean and judgemental in my opinion.

Mylovelygreendress · 03/12/2025 22:31

You said that you don’t judge other mothers . Now you say you do .

It’s just funny, and more than a little ironic that some posters in this very thread were adamant she could still treasure her ‘before times’ memories, despite being estranged from the very family she was waxing sentimental about in her Christmas ornament life chapter spiel.

But now, suddenly, she supposedly doesn’t owe him a shred of sympathy, even if he may be terminally ill and not long for this world.

But that’s just typical Sussex squad narrative for you 🤣

It might be the time to remember why she posted about him in such gushing terms in her previous life.

But since then, she feels wronged by him. Sometimes people who have been previously thought are great, do something that you find unforgivable. Surely you understand that.

If you feel the need to be nice to people and keep them in your life even when they’ve done something bad to you, just because you had previously found them to be nice, you’d be quite vulnerable to being treated badly and taken advantage of.

I would imagine it stands to reason to anyone, that parents who wilfully neglect and abuse their children would be judged.
But I thank you for picking up on that in my posts

It was still her life from former years and that doesn’t just get wiped away because someone does something bad years later.

Meghan will probably have complex feelings about her father as it appears she had a relationship with him that was ok and then he did something that she found too much, rather than him just being bad from day one, but I don’t think it’s for anyone else to decide what those feelings will be.

Including yourself?

She (and you) can’t have it both ways, now that Thomas might be genuinely critically ill!

🤣

Yes, it’s her choice. If it was me, I would stay away, but I am not her. I’m just saying why should him being ill change anything. In general, people don’t cut family members off lightly.

Horses7 · 03/12/2025 23:39

It was dire….. and made last March like the other two programmes. Very authentic Meagain!
The ‘family’ tree had nothing on it made by the children (to elevate the joy) even any made for previous years’ trees. Instead it was a vision of beige/gold baubles - like you’d see in a shop or hotel.
I suppose it’s nice for the children to hear the word family especially as they are kept away from most of their relatives.
Drinking bingo would work - using joy, family, love, elevate, authentic, flower sprinkles and of course Guy the deceased dog, who somehow wanders through the kitchen of the Christmas special 🤣 before he was ghosted perhaps?

"I love you because you are brave."

So if I get the night terrors and aren't being brave....

“I love you because you are pretty “ does that make it more obvious?
or “ I love you because you are not disabled “ how about that!
“ I love you “ is all that is needed, compliments are second to that.

Pipsquiggle · 04/12/2025 06:56

This show is not for the British audience.
They realise that their income stream now comes from America.
It sounds like it wants to perpetuate the 'royal' fairytale for the millions of Americans who want to believe it's true

NewAgeNewMe · 04/12/2025 07:09

The royal fairytale that they have denigrated on Oprah and on NF.

Well, first of all, I don’t know what he did that was so wrong - or at least, any different from what she did in giving the various interviews and statements she has about the RF.

But even if that were the case, you would think that if things were as rosy as she portrayed via The Tig, she might want to put those feelings aside in the circumstances.

Unless there is more to that complicated relationship than meets the eye, and the Tig was all a big fib, now is not the time to hold grudges. Isn’t that what people keep saying about the King with Harry?

Thedom · 04/12/2025 07:32

The show embodies all that Meghan is, fake and a bit of a loser, but mostly it shows her desperation for attention and some kind of relevancy, any kind of relevancy, it appears.

Anyway, a disastrous $100milion failure couldn’t happen to a nicer person.

ThePoshUns · 04/12/2025 07:35

As with all people in her life her father ceased to be useful to her so was easy to put to one side. He was ok for the odd photo but not up to scratch to be seen on world Tv. I think it really is as simple as that.
and as for the reviews, I don’t feel sorry for her, she won’t be thinking she did anything wrong, it will all be the nasty press ganging up on her because the RF told them too.

Mydadsbirthday · 04/12/2025 07:44

I have no interest in watching this show but I've enjoyed reading the comments about people still having their DC childhood homemade decorations up. Our tree is like this as well and I love it! We haven't put it up yet but this thread has made me think that I should carefully preserve all the home made decs. They're teens now so we'll never get any more will we? 🥲

Thedom · 04/12/2025 07:47

Just as an aside, if you are not white, wearing 'nude' tights looks ridiculous.

😵‍💫😵‍💫
I better break it to my mother in law and her sister then ‘sorry Mom-in-Law, African woman are viewed as ridiculous for wearing nude tights’, and remind my kids to never wear nude tights as they will be viewed as ridiculous for wearing nude tights on their non-white skin.

🤬

She loves Lily because she's kind. She loves Archie because he's brave. Did she consult her pal, "Glo" before committing these cliched, gendered epithets to film? What happened to Princess She-Ra?

BoxingHares22 · 04/12/2025 09:08

Remember she was attracted to Harry because he was ‘kind’. 🤨
