Online, people are pointing out that a very expensive cashmere jumper that Meg wore on suits, also made its way to her wardrobe

It’s been nothing but PR disasters of late.

What I have noticed which is curious - is that the UK tabloids are not running with P6 story about the dress. Just like they avoided talking about the NY car chase. They only reported on the media frenzy. But, we know Harry sent out some sort of memo not to publish photos etc. None of the UK press did. Now Meg has acknowledged the stolen dress story and released an official refute ….and none of the UK press are even reporting on that?

That’s weird. They will literally print any old Meg story to get clicks…..but not this one???

The articles on this issue are mainly American.

We had racing penguins - they were fun.

This year my Mum and Dad are coming - they haven't seen me since I've been ill so it will be quiet but special - just the 4 of us.

I've bought some of these for a treat but I don't think we can pull them like normal crackers.

Oh @bluegreygreen - given we won't have to buy crackers this year ( have some left over from last year ) I might get a couple of those ( in my case probably one between two ) and see who finishes first. Glad you like them - we saw them last year but our Christmas plans were a little bit upended by treatment so got them for this year instead.

I am unusual in that I don't like chocolate , except proper 80 % - 90 % really dark chocolate. But from those others in my household - cheap chocolate is hardly worth the candle and I think on other threads chocolate lovers have said the likes of Cadbury have changed their recipe. So either it may be very good or people who actually like chocolate may give it a go but find similar cheaper.

This , for the avoidance of doubt , is without tasting her chocolate. I think she will say she has hand picked or curated her cocoa beans - as she did the wine.

And where exactly has she sourced this?
very risky , good chocolate is difficult and if she tries to market cheap chocolate at top prices it is not going to reflect well and she will receive another mocking drubbing.

I find the deadpanned, bored prose of that review actually very damning.

Love the tiara and the colour of the dress. But my god, I wish she’d give up the Jenny Packham dresses. I get the optics of using a British designer that’s more affordable but I’m fed up of the bloody sequins.

Evening wear is the only area where I think the fashion falls short for her.

The thing is she can’t deliberately outshine Camilla . I think when Catherine is Queen we will see subtle changes to her clothing .
