Online, people are pointing out that a very expensive cashmere jumper that Meg wore on suits, also made its way to her wardrobe It’s been nothing but PR disasters of late. What I have noticed which is curious - is that the UK tabloids are not running with P6 story about the dress. Just like they avoided talking about the NY car chase. They only reported on the media frenzy. But, we know Harry sent out some sort of memo not to publish photos etc. None of the UK press did. Now Meg has acknowledged the stolen dress story and released an official refute ….and none of the UK press are even reporting on that? That’s weird. They will literally print any old Meg story to get clicks…..but not this one??? The articles on this issue are mainly American.

He had surgery to remove his leg and was in ICU. When people have experienced a medical trauma, of which they are still recovering….their immediate thought isn’t to catch up on emails is it?

The man was in ICU until today. I have no idea about what’s the protocol about personal devices on such a ward, but I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t need to be admitted to the ward if you’re able to go on your laptop to check emails and play solitaire

having a limb amputed is not quite the joyful experience of having a baby,. General anaesthetics are quite hard on older people. My Mil used to go quite crazy after having them try to pull out drips and get out of bed

its a very sad situation. Was he a nice man or a complete shit, we have conflicting accounts from Meghan. He was probably somewhere in the middle.

He hasn’t behaved well, but neither has she, Meghan should have stayed silent but again had to clap back with her silly email comments via a spokesman

I would say that the way they conduct their affairs is probably very useful in teaching people in PR exactly what not to do. I don’t believe they have a big team behind them. They have one PR person who never lasts more than a few months because they’re impossible to work for.

Meghan is trying to look like she’s being caring but it’s very doubtful she’s making any real effort to get hold of her father . It’s all smoke and mirrors as usual.

If she had two brain cells to rub together she never would have let it get this bad.

I realize he's not as photogenic as she would like but it's ludicrous for her to try to build a brand that is all about "famileeeee" and "joy" and "traditions" and "meaningful living" when she can't scrounge up more than few guests for her own wedding, hasn't communicated with her father in five (?) years, her father has never met his son-in-law or grandchildren, Doria doesn't look all that enthused in her few brief video clips, she and Haz seem to have few real friends, and she is trading on her use of a title from a country that she actively avoids, disdains and disrespects.

She should have bitten the bullet and made sure that Thomas was housed and supported comfortably, and that he was at least peripherally in the life of her and her children, with the anticipation that something would happen. The notion of a supposed member of the royal family scrabbling around via outdated e-mails to contact a father whose phone number she LOST (!) is so undignified, unseemly and low-class.

I can only imagine what Catherine, Pippa, Carole, Sophie, Anne, etc., are saying to one another, between the flop of the holiday special and now this. I would love to be a fly on the wall while they all share a couple bottles of wine.

This situation with Thomas was entirely predictable, the man has been ill for years. Their chief of staff, James Holt or whoever it is paid exorbitantly to head off this sort of mess should be fired.
