It’s been nothing but PR disasters of late.

What I have noticed which is curious - is that the UK tabloids are not running with P6 story about the dress. Just like they avoided talking about the NY car chase. They only reported on the media frenzy. But, we know Harry sent out some sort of memo not to publish photos etc. None of the UK press did. Now Meg has acknowledged the stolen dress story and released an official refute ….and none of the UK press are even reporting on that?

That’s weird. They will literally print any old Meg story to get clicks…..but not this one???

The articles on this issue are mainly American.

I don't think he does. After all this is someone who was 40 when he talked about his 35 years of service. He clearly believes he is still a working royal because he is "working" and is a son of the King. He doesn't seem to grasp that whilst you can put those words together he has lost the status of a Senior Working Royal because he no longer works for, or represents the monarchy.

Totally off piste, the Queen is highlighting some really great charities on Instagram this week as part of the 16 days of activism against domestic abuse. For those who don't follow the Royal Family account it's worth a look.

I predict more charity announcements perhaps a visit?

Apparently Kate isn't going to be at the state banquet this week which is disappointing but Camilla is usually good for some bling.

He was doing a speaking gig in SH for Trip dot com, and hosted a summit for " Travalyst", a non profit he funded to promote sustainable travel.

He has his fingers in a lot of pies.

The Party in China does not really like non profits not unless they are party controlled. Checking for the website of " travalyst", it's not blocked so it's not on "the list", however, checking the about page and partners, I see Google is listed.

With Google on there as a partner, I suspect this will have been a one off. And with it not being on State media, I reckon that means the Party has no interest.

I found this story about it though, a fluff thing, and as I read through it I was like WTF when I got to the bottom. A photo of M and child doing beekeeping. I thought... what why your kidding right ?

The Chinese students I work with have very little interest in the royals, even though they're studying in Britain. British royals really aren't a 'thing' in China. They have more than enough celebrities of their own to keep them busy.

My take is a bit different.

For H to get a visa, it would have to be approved at a high level. Because high profile, and always a risk of him mentioning something sensitive.

And, given that he was in PRC on a green issue, and that it was not propagandized in state media, it does rather indicate the Party are not interested.

So no long term gig.

I think the reason Andrew was cultivated by elites around the world is that he was perceived to have connections with the real power makers in Britain. While Harry does not. The Chinese government will have happily given him a visa and allowed him to speak because he is perceived as 'harmless'. Just another C list celeb. They're not going to risk alienating anyone in the business or political elites in Britain by indulging him in one of his little outings.

Didn't Andrew have an acquaintance who turned out to be a Chinese spy? Perhaps they are trying the same with Harry - he's not that bright and will probably be flattered by the attention if they treat him as a "Prince"

Yep, it all emerged around the same time as the China spy trial collapsed, the collapse happening because someone in high places mysteriously forgot to confirm in the court paperwork that China is a state hostile the UK’s interests.

Andrew walked away whistling, but did at least get all his titles, styles and honours removed to turn him into a ‘commoner’ - and presumably to make him very publicly look less interesting to foreign states.

I think Beatrice is playing a very silly game, carrying on grifting using her HRH/Princess styles. The UK isn’t that friendly with the Saudis and their associates. Thus, she looks bent.

I imagine it will be part of the bigger picture for the monarchy going forward, I doubt he will target Harry and Meghan but I think there may be a huge restructure, my prediction going forward will be only working royals with any form of title, so, Beatrice, Eugenie, James, Louise, Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lily titles removed, only George will be Prince and Charlotte and Louis’s titles to be put in abeyance until/if they become working royals, also no more Dukedoms on marriage and no becoming a Princess on marriage unless marrying the heir, only George’s first born to be titled, no titles for Charlotte and Loui’s children.

Hmm well they ( especially M ) are sailing pretty close to the wind using their titles for financial gain .

Plus it’s not just things they have done (too many to list) but we have to remember Harry is acting as if he is a working royal, addressing things of which he has no business to, for example
