It’s been nothing but PR disasters of late.

What I have noticed which is curious - is that the UK tabloids are not running with P6 story about the dress. Just like they avoided talking about the NY car chase. They only reported on the media frenzy. But, we know Harry sent out some sort of memo not to publish photos etc. None of the UK press did. Now Meg has acknowledged the stolen dress story and released an official refute ….and none of the UK press are even reporting on that?

That’s weird. They will literally print any old Meg story to get clicks…..but not this one???

The articles on this issue are mainly American.

Aren't the Prince and Princess of Wales meant to be doing a tour of Australia in 2026?

The Sussexes made public that they were keen to visit Australia in 2026 some time after the Australian Prime Minister had invited the Prince and Princess of Wales (during his visit to the King at Balmoral).

Well the thing is …. The prime minister of Australia invited Catherine and William personally for an official visit,
h and m are fishing for an invitation through their normal route, it is very doubtful that they will get their wish,
but if it happens you can bet they will not allow anything that will show them getting a less than stellar reception and their fans are more than happy to spin on their behalf.

I think quite a lot of Australians are pretty sceptical of H+M and if there’s booing for example, footage will be on the internet in seconds. I don’t expect there to be unquestioning respect and adulation. In any case, in the unlikely event that they do manage to control the Australian media, H+M are bound to fuck it up in one way or another 🍿

Too true! , I’ve heard rumours from Australian friends that there was some unpleasant behaviour during the “ triumphant “ tour , including a tea throwing incident and sky news Australia reports are much more barbed about them than ours! , it’s almost worth hoping for , for entertainment value alone.

I have no idea whether Harry is really planning to tour Australia, if he ii hardly fits with his narrative of working with the Royal family.

And pardon me for being snarky but “major solo appearance” ? He’s giving a pay per view talk to a load of Canadian estate agents!
this announcement is obviously to give the impression of charity and official recognition.

If he had any sense he would not , if they do it’s going to go down as well as the Canadian announcement and visit, nobody will believe it’s a coincidence and it will be further proof of his continuing attempts to upstage and copy the wales.

I have never believed that they were deliberately trying to upstage the Wales family. I thought it was coincidence. But I'm coming round to the idea that Harry really is jealous enough to try and upstage William. It just makes Harry look worse though.

It’s happened too many times unfortunately @MrsLeonFarrell! It’s almost predictable and like clockwork now , there were even people placing bets on what Harry would do as soon as Williams trip was announced!
I know you like to give the benefit of doubt, I did too but it’s too many times now for me.

It was Harry in Canada claiming he had to clash because of his security. It was such a bullshit excuse. We know where members of the working royal family are going to be on many different dates and security is just fine.

Same day as WLM drops! Wonder why they moved it from its original November slot?!
