Negotiating tactic to maximise her take from the takedown or genuine desire to put her side of the story?

Personally I think it's a shot across the bows of the palace indicating she's not prepared to go quietly without guarantees of a substantial feathering of her nest.

I aso think whatever they might do for her now she'll do an interview anyway at some point when she's frittered away her resources as per and needs the cash.

I think most of the dosh probably stems from royal trusts set up by GGM and GM for the daughters.

I get the impression that royal trusts are set up very carefully so they do need to have some sort of income if they want to live the life they live. If they makes sense.

I think the specific amount was speculation but it was his share of a trust the Queen Mother set up for her grandchildren. Money really does breed money. Mind you unless he has other sources of income I can't see him being able to afford his security for the next 40 or 50 years.

To be fair William didn't have any grounds for complaint. My understanding is that Harry was left more because he wasn't the heir. Which is equity rather than equality.

I was trying ( and obviously failing) to be lighthearted. Harry also had nothing to complain about but still moaned about having a smaller bedroom and fewer sausages than William .

The issue that is never going to be resolved is that they will never disclose their wealth or their spending.

If Sarah does a tell all…even trivial embarrassing anecdotes she is a very poor selfish mother. Anything she does against any of the royal family puts her daughters at risk of losing titles and money. Surely the King and POW made it very clear their titles will be dependent upon their own and their parents good behavior.
