Ferguson Tell-all?

CathyorClaire · 23/11/2025 11:37

Seen a few reports being bandied around that Ferguson is considering lucrative offers for a sit-down and allegedly panicking BP in the process :

https://www.thesun.co.uk/royals/37401431/sarah-ferguson-6-figure-offer-tell-all-tv-interview/

What do we think?

Negotiating tactic to maximise her take from the takedown or genuine desire to put her side of the story?

Personally I think it's a shot across the bows of the palace indicating she's not prepared to go quietly without guarantees of a substantial feathering of her nest.

I aso think whatever they might do for her now she'll do an interview anyway at some point when she's frittered away her resources as per and needs the cash.

I hope she does tell all, and I hope she has evidence to substantiate very damaging allegations against the RF, eg extra-marital affairs (Hi Rose! Hi Penny!), Harry’s real father, Diana shagging her way through 90s England Rugby team. Philip’s racism etc etc. Anything to destroy the whole corrupt organisation.

There's no chance she's going to start blabbing about affairs given the rumours about Philip and her mother, and that giving the green light to details about her affairs being sold.

Anything she ever gave would have to not welcome it being turned on herself.

Or her daughters.

CuriousClaimant · 24/11/2025 22:45

She was public about her ADHD
she needs help not a takedown

ItsDarkNow · 24/11/2025 22:45

I hope she does!

ArielHawksquill · 24/11/2025 22:47

Can’t see a six figure sum doing it, she needs much much more. Less than a million she’ll spunk it in a year.

I’m not sure Sarah has anything to lose by telling it all. She could lean hard into the long life of adventuress fortune hunting infamy, and be very interesting that way, with none of the bullshit of corgi’s and ‘honorourable’ man stuff but all the self interest. A tell tale book about the Royal Family, and herself, as well.

I’d read that.

Unless there’s more to the involvement with Epstein than we know about already.

Charles has made it clear he’s going to protect the girls. Unless someone writes something in-depth about them that reveals them to be other than they appear to be. I think they will be safe under the protection of Charles. They are not their mother or father. Punishing his nieces for what their mother does, past present or future, seems unfair. And he’s giving every indication he’s on their side - as long as they keep their noses clean.

Ps edited to say I love dogs and by ‘corgi bullshit’ I mean how she sought recognition for caring for the late Queen’s dogs.

All that stuff has been in the red tops years ago. If it didn't do more than raise a few jokes then, what do you think will be different now? Oh no, a woman who has been dead for 28 years was unfaithful (again) bring out the smelling salts!

I am not sure Charles is quite so vehement about protecting Andrew's daughters. He has sort of said for now they will keep their titles etc.

Well, they are not keeping their noses clean are they, with frequent visits to the middle East and portraying themselves as some sort of ambassador.

Afternoon tea with Princess Beatrice of York in Saudi Arabia for instance. They have been told that the palace must approve every appearance which will be vetted by aides. They are not too keen on this apparently, no surprise there

Was she really shafted?
Her divorce settlement from Andrew included
a £500,000 gift from the Queen for a new home, a £1.4 million trust fund for their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and a £350,000 cash payment. Additionally, Andrew agreed to cover all of the children's private school and university fees and provide a modest monthly allowance. There was also mention of a £500000 annual payment .
The divorce was around 30 years ago so I have no idea what these amounts would be now .

Edited

I think she was shafted in comparison to Diana. Sarah had a modest but secure financial platform to springboard to the next stage of her life. Diana had enought o set her up securely for the rest of her life, full stop, It was envisaged that the one would have a vastly different fianncial set up from the other, and i dont think thats unreasonable. the circumstances, headlines and scandal were also very different. sarah was lucky to get what she did, and that was probably all down to the desire to provide for the girls, and to the Queens kindnes..

Diana came from a more affluent background than Sarah and had her own family money, but that aside she was divorcing the heir to the throne and was mother to the next heir.
sarah divorced the spare , she wasn’t In the same position.

Lobelia123 · 25/11/2025 08:30

@jeffgoldblum yes I agree. I do think Sarah may have looked with jealous eyes and a nose out of joint at Dianas settlement though and felt she was hard done by in comparison.

Lobelia123 · 25/11/2025 08:32

PS In any case the latest stories seem to indicate she will scrounge off Eugenie and jack at their lovely villa in Portugal. Its hardly as if she's homeless. she'll end up all right, trot out her usual schlock of Im so ashamed and so sorry, please forgive me England, Im just a jolly good sort who made a mistake.

Gowlett · 25/11/2025 08:34

RF definitely waved plenty of wonga, so she would stand in the press full firing-line. There’s some really bad Andrew stuff…

Gowlett · 25/11/2025 08:38

Also note the glare of sordid Fergie stories taking focus off the Virginia Guiffre book. Could just be a coincidence…

iSage · 25/11/2025 08:42

Negotiating tactic to maximise her take from the takedown or genuine desire to put her side of the story?

Sarah needs the money now she'd been turfed out of Andrew's accommodation and the brands she represented have cut ties with her. It's as simple as that.

She has always been hopeless at managing her money and living within what most people would regard as an extremely comfortable budget.

I wouldn't have thought she'd have much to 'tell' that hasn't already been told by her or others, but I expect her book team will find something if she goes ahead - stuff we've already heard fluffed up and garnished with additional commentary - yawn, yawn ...

jumpingthehighjump · 25/11/2025 08:50

I have read conflicting stories.

She has a £2M property to go to in Portugal. And she has a bolt hole in the Cotswolds on one of the daughter's properties. Who knows

She has no budget! She has never lived within her means. Illustrated by the Lownie book... always got her eye on the next fast buck. She is lucky she has two daughters who married rich husbands.

CathyorClaire · 25/11/2025 10:12

MrsLeonFarrell · 24/11/2025 21:01

I think she would be very silly to gamble that the daughters will stay in if she causes a scandal. Already their finances are being questioned because of what is coming out about their parents. I doubt either of them is squeaky clean.

The daughters are staying in at present.

The fact they're already under scrutiny I think actually gives Fergie more leeway to be indiscreet in that if they blot their copybook they'll undoubtedly be shown the door and more swiftly than their odious parents were.

As it stands they're not currently showing any signs of discretion despite said scrutiny. One is even resisting accountability. It would seem they're perfectly capable of lashing up their rather tenuous position on their own and if some other even minor scandal emerges I don't think C3/W would hesitate to use the excuse to cut them loose entirely.

I do wonder where the £3m or so from the mews house sale ended up and what on earth was the thinking behind selling it.

It's definitely an interesting situation. Time will tell what happens, and I'm prepared to be wrong, but I am still pretty sure that Fergie hasn't got anything up her sleeve that would threaten the crown.

Side bar
I never understand the fuss made about Charles having an affair with Camilla, (or Diana's having affairs with multiple people) as if no one in the history of the world has ever been unfaithful or married unwisely. Royals are human and screw up like everyone else. It would have to be something that is illegal or politically threatening for me.

MrsLeonFarrell · 25/11/2025 10:22

Mind you I'd love another round of Oprah's shocked face and fake surprise.

chunkyBoo · 25/11/2025 10:59

Well she’s an idiot, many
people see her as an
odious creature anyway, toe sucking, money related nefarious activities, she’s always been a bad egg, and she’s had a great life
living off the RF assets, property, staff and likely money to boot. Now
shes being ostracised due to her, at best, unsavoury friends she’s taken money from and found herself being blackmailed by JE … I wonder what dirt he had in her … she’s doing what she knows best and grifting off others, likely wanting a pay out from the RF. horrible woman

Mmm, FAKE surprise. I had heard that damned "What" so many times in the trailers that I put the sound off for the interview and read the subtitles.

There is that Cathy! 🤣🤣🤣 if it happens I will provide the popcorn 🍿.

I know this makes me an awful person, and I would of course self flagellate, but I would really enjoy a tell all on TV- I would actually book the day of work so I could watch it live, with the MN watchalong. It would be excruciating.

Exactly

And Epstein had 12 different numbers for her in his little black book. More than Andrew. But even he got sick of her pleading for money from him.

She has made money off the back of charities she's set up, that's one of the worst awful things she has done.
And not paid the 'little people'... fitness trainers, hairdressers, etc... those that an unpaid bill can be make or break.

I don't think she can be so stupid as to do an interview or book... look at her rock of a husband.. that was the beginning of the end for him. But on second thoughts, I honestly think she is so self unaware and actually stupid, maybe she will.
