She's a beautiful woman but i can't understand why she just doesn't drop the titles and be herself. And it's odd how she talks about how much 'H' loves her but not how much she loves him.

For some reason when I woke up this morning, this article crossed my mind. It was the having herself announced, and rhe image of it made me chortle. Telling the housekeeper to do that for example. The baffled journo watching it play out. 😂

i doubt this is the first time she’s done it, just the first time it’s been put in print.

it tells us a few things she’d rather not know,

it tells us sadly she doesn’t understand why people are announced, or when that should occur. Even common sense and basic logic should tell you that. Which says she’s a bit thick, and that would also explain the continuous bad decisions.

she seems very able to manipulate, bully and use people, but I am starting to think the fundamental issue is she has a low iq, and can’t think through the ramifications of her actions.

harry we know is thick, you just have to look at the dude, it emanates out of him, but I suspect thay although her friends all say how smart Megan is, she’s a relatively low iq.

it also tells us the titles are critically important to her. Thay she lacks confidence in who she is, and now uses them to give herself importance, as she feels without it, she simply isn’t enough. And that’s sad.

she keeps overthinking stuff, the fashion show for example. She should simply have turned up, not over dressed, she’d still have got the publicity, instead she treated it like it was the red carpet for the Oscar’s and she was a nominee. The daft walk for the paps, who she likely had called, was utterly cringe worthy, or the ridiculous statements of her returning to the fashion shows after 10 years. The whole getting ready videos of hair and make up. She was trying to make such a big thing for herself, but she couldn’t work out how utterly cringe and ott it was, like having herself announced in an empty house to a journo.

the ridiculous comments in the article about how much Harry loves her. Don’t get me wrong, on this I’m sure she’s right, but still you don’t say it. In all my years I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone proclaim “my husband loves me so much!, more than anyone!” And not, we love each other or similar. It is child like and again, cringe worthy.

and I do think that’s why the pair of them make continiual bad decisions. They seldom make a good one, let’s be honest. Both of them have a relatively low iq and I’m starting to think Megan’s may actually be lower than Harry’s, as I think she is the ring leader, he goes along with it, and she’s responsible for all the cringe stuff they do, whilst he enables it.

That woman Victoria Jackson (who owns the house where she was announced) sounds genuinely interesting in that article.

But why would you stay in someone's house and not in a hotel?

I think Meghan tries desperately to push via herself and her friends that she’s intelligent, but she really isn’t … literally everything she does is a flop and the world just laughs at her or takes the piss.

She also totally missed the point of having the “household manager” make the announcement. The butler announces the guest coming into the room where the host is. In this scenario, Meghan having borrowed her friend’s house as a venue to conduct an interview, with just herself and the journalist present, Meghan is the proxy host. The journalist, the guest, is who should have been announced. 🤣

So you can’t even pass it off as proper etiquette - it’s just grandiloquent.

I think the reason the two of them are so fascinating as that they don’t seem real. They’re like characters in a cartoon or a Disney film. 1001 Dalmatians springs to mind. They are two people who just don’t accept reality and live in their heads . They both genuinely believe they are very special people with privileges and qualities the rest of us mere mortals don’t possess. Common sense, humility and hard work are for the paupers in their book. Neither of them seem at all intelligent to me .

The trouble is, they can be manipulated by people who would flatter them. Those who would wish to use them as ammunition against the RF, then the Head of State, and by extension, the UK.
They're really not wise enough to handle this, hence the quasi royal tours. The UK National Anthem, inspecting the troops? Really?

Meghan says clearly in this latest article that she and the designer kept her attendance at the Balenciaga show a secret. So yes, she clearly called the paparazzi herself. There wouldn’t have been a gaggle of them standing around the Plaza Athenee during Paris Fashion week hotel just on the off-chance someone famous would unexpectedly emerge.

As a papparazzi, if you don’t get a picture, you dont get paid. And there are enough known celebrities around and known events taking place in a short space of time in Paris during fashion week to mean no-one spends hours hanging around a hotel just in case they get a saleable picture of someone unexpected. Because obviously, there may not be anyone famous secretly staying there. If they’re not, that’s a wasted few hours. So they will go to the venue where the show is being held, or the venue for the afterparty…where they can guarantee they’ll get shots.

I think they are endlessly interesting due to the cringe worthy stuff they do

from the early days when Megan went ti Wimbledon and had the whole royal enclosure to herself snd her mate, banning other guests. The royals never do that. The optics were awful, through to the awful press release saying they were leaving, and would collab with the queen, or the thing about folks in Africa cheering on the street as they got married, or Harry pitching for her doing voice overs to the Disney chief, to the high speed chase where the taxi driver never went above the speed limit and was in heavy traffic, and now having herself announced in an empty house to a solitary journo. And all the madness in between inc the lies, the over exaggerations, the silly press leaks.

It’s all just a never ending catalogue of social faux pas.. And you only need to wait a few weeks and there is another one, where you read it and your toes curl, at the mere thought of it.

I can’t even imagine what went through her mind when she asked the housekeeper to do that. Or when she was proclaiming that Harry loved her the most. Very few mothers with young children would even think to utter such a thing.

Yes, I would think so. I can see that working as she does look good with the right make up. Though lately she’s gone for the drawn and haggard bare faced look with scraped back hair.

She normally has excellent makeup; flattering and flawless, which makes those HB pictures all the more puzzling. She's wearing makeup, but it's not really enhancing her appearance.

That was one of the things that really raised my eyebrows.
People here often mention the "Stately Homes" MN threads and one thing that comes up repeatedly is the damage done by parents who put their love affair above their love for their children.
However, I suspect that, in reality, Harry really does love his children more than anyone else.

The Wimbledon episode was so embarrassing. Apparently she hoped to get into the Royal Box but was refused for various reasons including the fact she was wearing jeans (there is a dress code ). So an area was cleared because she caused a fuss .
Strangely Catherine was able to sit in the crowded outdoor courts to cheer on British players !

If you think back through time, there are many pioneering women who have achieved so much good for innovation, science, business and so on. I wonder what Marie Curie would have thought of Meghan. Socially climbing with her goofy husband, her jam and petals or sprinkles for breakfast dressing while achieving very little in her life from a very advantageous financial position. A one trick pony who has sold the Royal secrets to death, and now faces flop after flop. It speaks volumes about the injustice of society that women like her get front-page covers while the many, many women who are doing so much good in the world at many levels, and in many sectors, are largely ignored by the press. Meghan is not 'beautiful' inside or out, but has many fashion, makeup and skin interventions not available to the average woman. Isn't it a pity that we still judge women for being pretty or not as we approach 2026, rather than what they have done or achieved? The tabloid papers are filled with X 'turned heads' or had 'good pins' or some female celebrity is caught out makeup free at Walmart and lambasted for 'gosh' shock horror looking like everyone else. If Meghan should make any contribution to the world, it should be as a timely reminder of what is really important and what is a worthy notable contribution to society...it isn't petals or over-priced jam for sure.

To be fair I don’t think flogging jam etc was on her to do list when they left, it’s more everything else has failed, simply as they have no skill set as content creators. But the opportunities they had, were squandered.

spotify podcasts were a prime example. Not even bothering to do the interviews herself other than the two a listers and having her voice dubbed over to pretend she did. Harry’s mad idea he could interview trump and Putin about their child hoods, they clearly both thought that was going to be a goer. Utterly deluded. No interest in people of achievement, women who achieved, unless they were a celeb. So little interest she didn’t even bother to meet them, never mind interview them,

i recall a staff member saying they were utterly baffled that they were genuinely expected to work. And not just out their name to stuff and turn up and do publicity things,

so flogging jams is the last hurrah, it is clearly a flop, so she will try to find something else. They obviously wanted half in half out again, and tried, until the palace said no chance, the speed in which the daily leaks about them coming back stopped , the kids going to school here, them all going to invictus together, was neck braking, it was absolutely immediate after the palace said it was not an option,

i do feel sorry for Charles, to know your own son tries to use you like that, offering a relationship up to get something, it is brutal.

its all about money and fame, hanging out with a listers and powerful people. Being seen as part of that crowd. It has been all along, we saw it at the wedding, with people they’d never even met invited simply as they were Hollywood a listers.
