She's a beautiful woman but i can't understand why she just doesn't drop the titles and be herself. And it's odd how she talks about how much 'H' loves her but not how much she loves him.

I know a guy , not UK, who done a course at a local technical college in one of the UK University Cities. I think Oxford. It looked good on his CV back in his home country :-)

No they won’t, sure some will be impressed but mostly it’s a courtesy and being polite! , it’s why they criticise Meghan more than Harry , he was born a U.K. prince, son of Diana.
meghan was an unknown American actress, she will not be afforded the same respect or tolerance.

A lot of Americans are a variety of amused or interested by European titles but usually only impressed if it comes with significant wealth etc.

The Duchess of York has been doing the rounds across various wealthy circles for years over here raising funds for various charities.

Without the title she does have a bit of a name problem.

She might want to be know by Sussex but it isn’t her official surname, it’s a short form of “Duchess of…”.

So her choices are her maiden name of Markle or her married name of Mountbatten Windsor.

Yes. 'Her' title isn't really her title. Harry is the holder of the Duke of Sussex title. As his wife, convention has it that she can use the 'courtesy' version of his title, but it has no legal significance, and is of course utterly dependent on her marital status. Not very feminist.
