.... With the prospect of no more title, no charities, no free mansion?

How long before she leaves the ghastly ex to wallow alone in the pile of shit he's created?

But Andrew and Edward both appear to have just been Prince Andrew and Prince Edward

That's because they were born after their mother became Queen so they were born HRH The Prince Andrew and HRH The Prince Edward.

Charles and Anne dropped the "of Edinburgh" when they became "The" when their mother became Queen.

MannersAreAll · 27/10/2025 23:59

The Queen, being married to Duke of Edinburgh, also held Duchess of E, hence Edward couldnt get DoE until she died, or you'd end up with two Duchesses of Edinburgh

That's not why Edward couldn't have it. When Philip died Charles inherited the DofE title (along with others).

At that point QEII was the Dowager Duchess of Edinburgh, Camilla was technically Duchess of Edinburgh.

Once QEII died and Charles became King his titles merged with the crown and became available again for use - William could be Prince of wales (and was instantly Duke of Cornwall) and Edinburgh was available to grant to Edward.

All these made-up nonsense "titles" are completely irrelevant now (yes they may have had currency in the past). Old buildings and monuments yes, very interesting. All this nonsense about some humans being more worthy of admiration, deference or privilege than others due the accident of their birth, total tosh. (Same for skin colour, nationality or any other division).

Edited

Yeah right.

Flomingho · 28/10/2025 00:18

Nope. She is all about the money with the moral compass of a sewer rat. She has only kept in with Andrew because of his status. If he worked in a normal job she would have ran to the hills a long time ago. On what planet would any woman want an ex-husband who is an alleged sex offender and happens to be friends with prolific paedophile in their life?! She did because she was being bankrolled by Epstein.

I don’t mind the titles so much - even when they have many of them each. I tell myself it’s keeping history alive, maybe.

I think it’s really funny though when they award each other medals.

mathanxiety · 28/10/2025 02:14

SF probably knows where all the bodies are buried. They probably all know this, and that's why she's been allowed to hang around for so long. The stakes are higher now.

If she were a smart woman, she'd be dictating terms.

I'm not sure she's a smart woman though.

waitamo · 27/10/2025 11:57

To be fair, they would indeed make many millions by dishing the dirt. So I agree, the RF in general are probably shitting themselves, and may not take any decisive action at all.

This ^

MonteShitshow · 28/10/2025 04:59

Are there still rooms at the Tower of London these days?

elprup · 28/10/2025 08:26

emilysquest · 27/10/2025 23:21

All a complete load of fucking nonsense in this day and age.

I must admit I had exactly the same thought! BUT I also admit I do secretly enjoy reading about the RF. It’s like the world’s greatest soap opera!

Also known as blackmail.

I don’t think SF knows much at all. She would hardly have been privy to their finances for a start. She could maybe talk about the Diana years but that’s history now and I don’t know if there’s much more to say that we don’t already know.

I don’t think she is a smart woman but she’s devious, conniving and manipulative. She will almost certainly be trying to dictate terms. They need to kick her into touch though. She’s a proven liar and friend of a convicted paedophile, plus a friend of her debauched, perverted, deviant ex (at least a friend, who knows?!)

She has zero credibility.

Needspaceforlego · 28/10/2025 12:00

Just remember she has 2 daughters to think about. Dishing more dirt isn't exactly going to help them.

She's also been through or potentally still going throught cancer treatment. Which might change her perscective on money.

CatrionaBalfour · 28/10/2025 12:01

@Tiredofbullsit I completely agree. Ferguson at most will know some tittle tattle, affairs maybe, but she will not have been privy to anything else.
She has always been in debt and at one point almost bankrupt. She could have sold stories previously.
Diana giving her veruccas isn't going to rake it in.

I doubt anything will change her outlook on money. Her daughters might hold her back but then she hasn’t given them much thought with all the scandals she has brought to their door!

think any dirt dishing would focus more attention on her, and it’s too big a risk for her. With all we know, god only knows what else there is!

Exactly! Plus she certainly never considered her daughters when she took money from Epstein, and had various other dodgy dealings.
Being caught on camera trying to get £500k for access to Andrew, for example.

BigCupofChocolate · 28/10/2025 12:22

waitamo · 27/10/2025 12:02

The so called "decisive" action they say they took, comprised of Andrew making his OWN statement and bigging himself up as a loyal member of the RF. Why did Charles not make this statement?

Secondly, the PR/media spin fooled many. The titles were not stripped away at all.

Thirdly, Parliament is reluctant to debate the issue and sort it out. Let's leave that to the RF. Indeed. Democracy you see. So we are ruled by the RF and not Parliament now, is that it?

And fourthly, I want my money back 😀

This on repeat.

I don't think she'll do a book but I can certainly see a Hello magazine spread (for the right price) she can dish about how pleased she is to have this new opportunity with a few veiled, read between the lines comments about the RF.

MannersAreAll · 28/10/2025 12:30

I think if they think for a second Charles and/or William are serious about removing their daughter's titles they'll both pull it in a bit.

Especially if there is accommodation, be it RL or elsewhere, in the mix.

Selling out the RF would gain them a few stories, but you can be sure if they do that suddenly other stories about them will appear, they'll lose the ability to make big money quickly and if they've cost the daughters their titles then they'll even lose the small money from photos of/with them.

MannersAreAll · 28/10/2025 12:31

It'll be interesting to see if they do re-marry.

If they don't then her will is unlikely to be sealed and that could make for interesting reading when the time comes (depending on when it's done).

Fedupwithnamechanging · 28/10/2025 12:39

Maybe a granny flat at one of her DDs?

I don't see why PA's asking to get her rehomed as she got a payment for a house as part of her divorce settlement. They're both grifters. Maybe KC3 is worried what she knows, and hoping he can get her to sign a NDA and finally pay her off?

Talking of wills, I wonder whether there's a danger of suicide from either of them. If they're on the edge and in a state of desperation/ can't see a future there's a possibility one or both may end it . I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that enquiry.

Needspaceforlego · 28/10/2025 12:57

No matter what I sincerly hope neither of them commit suicide.
The aftermath of that is horrendous for everyone, their Daughters, grandchildren, the people / person who finds them, all the what ifs, just horrible.

I doubt it, as pp said. I don't think she's ever really been party to anything important.

Yes, after the divorce she got a lovely house in Surrey. I don't think she stayed there long.

Gowlett · 28/10/2025 15:00

Too old to hook a billionaire, now…

She only “went back” with PA for the money.

Why is she being a scapegoat in the press?

My guess is he / KC said “if you take the heat, we’ll make sure you are looked after $$$” It will soon be chip paper.

It will stop her doing a book, and keep eyes away from the much worse PA stuff that the papers have (super-injunction)
