... I would change my name to Sarah York, by deedpoll. There's absolutely nothing stopping her!

I don't know if Windsor or Mountbatten-Windsor are "protected" names in some way, but York sure isn't.

Admittedly this was on the DM website this morning, but they are saying that Sarah flew out to CELEBRATE Jeffery Epistine's release from prison and took B & E with her. But considering both were legal adults by that point I can only assume that they went willingly.

I don't think the DM would publish that without evidence, in a case like this. It's really not good, is it?
I suspect it may get worse

I just know my DDs (much older now) would've said... Mum, what has he been in prison for? Followed by Why are we celebrating his release. I'm not going!

Undoubtedly somewhere along the line, money/bribery would've been used to get B&E there.

I'm sure I read somewhere he gave one of the daughters a huge chunk of money as a 'wedding gift'.

Quoting myself - that wasn't Epstein but some other millionaire. They're on the take from any bugger - the apple doesn't fall far from the tree for sure!

After reading " Entitled" by Andrew Lownie, my option of Fergie is lower than my option of Andrew.

Mine too. I was open mouthed reading it. She’s a disgrace.

LidlAmaretto · 19/10/2025 11:55

Also, this might sound ridiclous but I respect Sophie for having her kids in an NHS hospital like us plebs, she's not too posh for state healthcare
She had to be blue lighted to an NHS hospital after courtiers spent so much time umming and aahing about what was worse- an NHS hospital or letting a Royal wife and baby bleed to death that they had no choice!

Ellmau · 19/10/2025 11:59

I wonder what the Son in Laws think of all of this. Surely one of them has a backbone and a moral compass?

The Italian one's parents are friends of A&S aren't they? So may not be squeaky clean themselves. And Eugenie's husband has never struck me as the sharpest tool in the block.

To be fair that's not what happened - the delay wasn't anything to do with courtiers being unsure about an NHs hospital.

When the call was received by the police that she needed an ambulance and the security for that they assumed the ambulance had already been requested, but it hadn't. Due to the security issues the police call receiver should have requested the ambulance, but didn't.

Exactly. So much of this stuff is a horrendous reflection on them and their character but where are the denials or threats to sue for libel? It's the first thing I'd be doing were it not true.

Weren't they all super friendly with the dodgy AF bloke one of Bernie Ecclestone's daughter married. He ended up in court for fraud or something like that. Anyone can have the misfortune of being taken in by one bad apple of a friend but it does seem to be a repeat pattern with this bunch.

feellikeanalien · 19/10/2025 13:16

I've read a couple of extracts of VG's book in the Guardian and the New York Time this morning. It is absolutely tragic. She seems to have been abused and exploited by so many men in her life. I do hope that some of the others will be held accountable but that doesn't seem to be happening.

I can't get over the fact that Andrew accurately guessed her age and remarked that she was a couple of years older that his daughters but still felt that it was perfectly acceptable to have sex with her.

He and his ghastly ex-wife are truly vile, greedy, grasping people. She appears to have been bankrolled by Epstein and various other people for years. And yet they had more wealth that most people could imagine but still wanted more.

Didn't the Queen want to give Peter & Zara titles as her first born grandchildren and Princess Anne refused?

Whichever, silly me and my modern thinking. Genuinely forget what a man's world monarchy's been until recently.

I believe it was because titles could only be bestowed down the male line. Mark Phillips was offered a title and refused it. Hence his and Anne’s children couldn’t have titles

That's not actually true. The Queen could have given Anne's children titles anyway, but it was declined.

The Queen's own elder children were given titles despite being on the female line, her father had to issue Letters Patent, she could have done the same for Anne's children if they wished.

They only couldn't have automatic titles unless Mark Phillips took a title.

Beesandhoney123 · 19/10/2025 13:35

If I was fergie I'd go and live somewhere remote, and take to writing fiction under an assumed name.

Or go and visit my nephew and his wife in the USA. Give them some tips on living outside the Royal household. They have a massive house, I'm sure they could put me up. For a fee. Andy could come, but he'll probably get arrested. But Netflix might pay to stream us round the dinner table.

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 19/10/2025 13:39

I'm just pondering if damaging revelations of Beatrice and Eugenie happily hanging out with Jeffery Epistine after his convection for CSA keep coming out whether Chas, or more likely William would also strip them of their princess titles.

Possibly not, but you never know.

anamo · 19/10/2025 13:56

I've often wondered why KC was so reluctant to do much about Andy until the S hit the F or was about to. What sanctions there were up to now were measly and did not keep A+S out of sight at all anyway.

Is KC squeaky clean enough to be the judge here? Maybe Andy has the goods on him and all the optics of removing titles (they have not been removed) is to convince us that something is being done (at last), whereas in fact not much has changed in reality. Smoke and mirrors.

KC took bags of cash from a Middle Eastern top man - fill in the details. CASH, I ask you!

KC was friends with known paedophiles, and his uncle Mountbatten was a father figure to him

KC was a blatant adulterer, and is now Head of the Church of England.

I honestly doubt there is one of the clan who has spotless hands.

Oh the story I heard was that they were messing about wondering what to do in an emergency situation then belatedly called am ambulance but I don't know where I heard it. It does seem like something that should be prepared for- a member of the RF needing emergency treatment.

The Queen was heir presumptive. It is similar to how they issued letters patent for William’s children because they were going to be in the direct line of succession whilst Harry’s children had to wait until Charles was king. They wouldn’t have issued letters patent for Anne’s children (although they could have, in reality they never would have).

The police issued a public apology so I definitely think it was their error.

That they could have was my point. The posted I was replying to said they could not be given titles as they can only be given on the male line, which is incorrect.

Both Anne and Princess Alexandra were offered titles for their children, with and without titles for their husband, and declined.

The reason changed LP's for Williams children was because under the 1917 ones only his eldest son would be HRH Prince. Which, given the changes to the primogeniture rules going through at the time, could have put them in the situation where they could have a daughter who was a future Queen titled as Lady, then a younger son as HRH Prince. Those changes were to avoid a potential massive sexism row. George would always have been HRH Prince as William's first born, Charlotte and Louis would have been lady and Lord until Charles was king.

I'll be honest, I never understand why this one comes up. The Church of England was created by an adulterer.

Why would you out 2 fingers up to a man who has helped and suported you, and personally provided you with security for yourself and your daughters when the taxpayer stopped paying? How rude of you.
You need to find yourself a proper job and stop grifting.
Count yourself lucky you've been able to merch your titles for so long.

I do think it’s ironic to call someone on a thread about Sarah Ferguson, specifically on a post about her bil supporting her, a grifter!

I don’t understand the OP’s point though. Especially as she is up to her neck in Epstein shit as well.

ETA sorry o misunderstood your post. You’re calling SF a grifter, not the PP. I’ll get my coat!

It reads to me that they think KC has been at best petty and at worst vindictive.

Which is interesting because I suspect that's how the real Sarah Ferguson is thinking too.

I would agree. She's so deluded and entitled she's probably pissed off with KC and William for not allowing her and her appalling husband to continue with their royal lifestyle.
