Why is Meghan hated?

I have very strong views about the Royals especially Camilla, however I am genuinely interested and want to find out more as to why Meghan Markle seems to be so hated. I'm asking in case there is something I have missed. I do read up as much as I can and watch shows from 'both sides' of the argument, but there is nothing that I have seen so far that warrants the level of sheer hatred geared towards her - I don't mean on here necessarily, but on social media in general. She cannot do ANYTHING without a swarm of people descending on her like vampires to tear her apart.

She isn't an adulteress, she's not a paedophile or sex offender, she isn't lazy, she seems to genuinely care about people in need.....and from what has been shown, she genuinely loves Harry and is just trying to make a life with him. He left the UK to start a life away from a nest of some awful people, his mother died when he was 12, his uncle is a sex offender, there is racism and a rigid set of rules within that family where he won't be king anyway so what is wrong with him leaving?

I'm not starting this to start an argument I am genuninely interested in why she is so rabidly disliked and why? Maybe I will start to feel differently if there is more of a reason but at the moment I cannot see one?

If one’s siblings sell stories about you, as Meghan’s did, why TF would you invite them to your wedding? My siblings decided to arrange a memorial service for our mother and did not tell me. Why in hell would I invite those cunts and their equally toxic spouses to my nuptials?

Racism is always the easy one to wave about - it's nothing to do with her behaviour at all is it?

Most people agree her siblings are toxic and understand why they weren’t invited, however there is a large part of her family who never uttered a word and still were not invited, the uncle who got her an internship, her niece Ashley, none of Doria’s side of the family were invited, you have to question why she did that!

As much as I hate to give any credibility to her sister, a lot of what she predicted actually did end up happening.

Meghan, unfortunately, is cut from the same cloth.

Maybe shockhorror those people didnt want to be televised knowing there will no doubt comments made about them or what they were wearing etc ...or some other reason, maybe they couldnt attend...who knows its not always some nefarious reason

Wow, that’s a stretch of enormous proportions, her niece has said she was gutted to not be invited, her uncle also said the same, Doria’s family said they were disappointed not to be invited. No one mentioned they didn’t want go in case there were negative comments about their clothes.

Her family didn’t come because she’s be found out! the press would be able to find them and dig up a tonne of dirt on Megain, and she can’t control the narrative, so her mum and the odd friend comes to her wedding … albeit they’ve all seemingly disappeared! The creates her world around her then throws it away, never to be seen again, and walks into the next world she’s created, fresh and blank slate

Doris seems to be MIA after getting a bit annoyed with M on her baking video 😂

It’s such a strange relationship, Meghan hangs out of everyone, no matter where she is, selfies, red carpet etc, the recent photo she posted of her draped over Gloria Steinem and yet when she is with her mother they appear so cold and distant towards each other. Maybe I have missed it, but I don’t think I have ever seen her holding hands with her mother, or doing any of the performative lovey/dovey huggy type poses which she seems to do with everyone else.

It is strange. And Doria was MIA for chunks of Meghan's childhood, but no-one knows why.

I’ve been thinking about all this quite a lot. My conclusions are that Meghan had quite a lonely isolated childhood, not feeling she fitted in . Absent mother, father who seemed to be quite needy but not nurturing in the normal sense. He may have paid for her to do thingss, but I wonder if he was a loving steady presence, guiding and supporting her whilst setting boundaries. I don’t think so. He doesn’t seem to have any friends or interests . M didn’t see any wider family much as far as I can tell, and didn’t get on with her half siblings.
I suspect that M retreated into a bit of a fantasy world as a coping mechanism. In later life Daddy was bigged up as being so wonderful, boasting about their close relationship . I don’t believe it was a happy loving relationship. Later, when it didn’t suit her purposes, she put her mother on a pedestal. I don’t think she truly has a close and loving relationship with her either. It’s a case of them both playing a part. When D doesn’t fit the narrative, M becomes visibly annoyed.

I honestly don’t think she knows how to have a normal non contractual relationship with another person, I don’t think she’s learned the skills. The hand holding is a way of playing the part of closeness as she doesn’t really know what closeness looks like. I also think she has trust issues . Harry is perhaps the only person she really trusts, but even her relationship with him is very performative. She gushes about him and how in love they are. His face tells a different story. He’s probably the person in her life who has loved her and supported her the most, at the cost of his own wellbeing and autonomy.

What twaddle thr press can easily find out who they are and go get the dirt they dont need Meghan to have them at an event and point them out to them. 🙄

I think it was less about the press and media, but more about her relatives mingling with Harry, his family and friends. There was the possibility of her relatives inadvertently disputing some of the tales she spun about her life pre meeting Harrry. We now know she embellishes and lies with ease, that could have all unraveled at the wedding if they had been invited, so it could be the explanation for why she didn’t want their paths to cross with Harry et al.

Yes, my guess is because she didn't want them meeting Harry and the Hollywood A listers.

That’s a very good point! What a very weird wedding (apart from the fact it was a royal wedding of course) that a bride has almost no friends and family in attendance

We don't know, deeahgwitch, but can be pretty certain that the palace will ...

I think if the palace knew anything because MM told them so, then they don’t have a scooby, she lies about everything

TBH I wasn't thinking of them relying on Meghan, chunkybear; clearly they have much more reputable sources than her and I fully expect them to have used them

Meghan actually looked a bit anxious almost scared when that cooking segment with her mother was filmed.

She didn’t have a career though. I have read that she ran a shop/was cabin crew/was living in a commune/ worked for a travel agent. No one seems to have any idea, which is very strange. Also was she really a social worker? That seems to be very unclear too. She supposedly owns a care home now which has no staff and seems to be there in name only. Clear as mud.

Good for her if she does and good luck to her.

I think this is the one thing that would fly as it’s authentic to MM relative to everything else she has tried.

I see her makeup as flawless - so maybe finally she could try something that is authentic (if the products are any good in this crowded market).
