Meghan has just popped a video clip of herself in the back of a limo with her feet up travelling through the streets of Paris. Is this rather insensitive given the way her MIL died or is it perfectly normal to post such stuff?

I think this is a bit harsh. Markus Anderson is gay, she and he have been friends since long before Harry, it’s obviously a close friendship. I didn’t see it as coquetteish (insecure, if anything). I’m older than MM and I’m orettt sure I don’t always indulge in behaviour befitting my age!

I think @AtIusvue has this spot on. I think she's preparing to launch a new incarnation of herself - fashion designer maybe. Her whole look and demeanor at PFW was in juxtaposition to the image she's promoted in With Love Meghan. She knows that WLM has limited life left in it, and that Netflix are stepping back, and the podcast has fallen flat. I think there is no authenticity to all of this, but she has to keep moving forward and this is her next persona.

I didn't like her white sheets outfit but it was aiming for a chic high fashion look which I think worked. Especially with the hair and makeup.

But I did see someone describe her walk as being like Zoolander 🤣.

Lots of high fashion seems ridiculous for us mere mortals. I think Anna Wintour looks ridiculous in her sunglasses. I think posh spice looks ridiculous in trousers that are too long and dresses that look like nighties. But I realise they are chic and not trying to impress the likes of me.

I think the laughing at the model tripping was the worst thing of the night for M. No one else laughed, she obviously misjudged how to respond which is very revealing.

Also I find putting shoes on seats the height of ignorance and being uncouth.

The filming of the car route I have to presume is a huge misjudgement. Which is amazing in itself.
You'd think driving through Paris at night Diana would have been on her mind at least vaguely.
Apparently not.

She's a weird one for sure.

What's this about her laughing at a model who tripped?

There's a video where a model apparently trips, M laughs and turns to her neighbour who is not responding, M realises she's misjudged it and turns back.

At least that's the spin I've seen being put on it.

There is footage of MM watching the show and she burst out laughing at something on the runway/in her eyeline (reportedly a model stumbling). She turns to Marcus who is not smiling/laughing and she re-sets her face pretty quickly. In the row behind Meghan another woman smiles, but other than that noone else registers the fall/wobble/incident.

It reminded me of MM with Selena's mom at a tennis match when MM is talking to her but gets no response and she's socially discombobulated.

Edited to change 'eyeliner to eyeline' as eyeliner would make no sense whatsoever!

Whatever you think of her you can’t deny she’s skilled at enabling still photos of her.

With her walking out the front entrance of the restaurant sans coat! Walking extremely slowly so the paps have enough time. The paps are waiting patiently behind a barrier, she turns towards them on her right to give them the shot.

All orchestrated, the paparazzi were clearly called. They wouldn’t just happen to be outside a random restaurant at a time when celebs are all over Paris for the shows. So they were called and in return Meg made sure they got what they needed.

All feels rather dirty doesn’t it.

I don’t mind it in itself because that’s part of her ‘job’ as an influencer and she does it really well in terms of the end product - the shot.

It’s just if she continues to complain about press intrusion it’s annoying to hear the hypocrisy when you see her courting the attention.

All the photos I saw were attributed to Backgrid. So it wasn't just paps, it was paps for hire.

OMG that’s awful. she really is a nasty mean girl isn’t she.

Seeing as it’s taken Victoria Beckham years to turn a profit and that’s with David Beckham bailing her out to the tune of millions I doubt that if Meghan does become a “fashion designer” 🙄 it would provide the millions they need to keep the lights on, plus it takes staying power and hard work, neither of which she possesses, it’s more likely she will become the Muse of Balenciaga seeing as her mate heads it now and she will get a nice fat fee for facing their latest campaign.

You could well be right. She seems to be in her element going solo in the high fashion world. But, then, maybe secretly she's hating it and we will find out in due course that going to Paris and seeing all the paparazzi was very upsetting and made her reflect on what happened to Diana.

It might point to neurodiversity. I once laughed at a close friend’s family member’s death, a shock response.

@BigWillyLittleTodger you are absolutely right.
In addition VB has always had a real interest in fashion, she keeps her mouth shut and follows advice from top professionals, and has been absolutely determined to see her project through and is still working to make it bigger and better and keep a tight control on its evolution. If you can afford the best professionals and talent, why wouldn't you use it properly?

Meghan could absolutely be a presence in the fashion world as a backer/investor of emerging raw talent or 'muse' for one specific fashion brand, but lacks consistency, focus and is unreliable. On looks alone she could easily ride this, but only if she keeps quiet and let the professionals guide her. It is not going to happen.

Everything she does is planned calculated and laden with intention. Every. Single. Thing.
