Meghan has just popped a video clip of herself in the back of a limo with her feet up travelling through the streets of Paris. Is this rather insensitive given the way her MIL died or is it perfectly normal to post such stuff?

What’s weird is for someone that lives near and uses the most scenic highway in the world on a regular basis, she never takes these type of videos.…ever.

Yet night time journey in Paris after being in the glare of the paparazzi ……sure!

I take it you don't mind your Husband/partner walking down the street holding Jenny from Accounts hand ?

Well if Jenny was a friend and I knew the depth of their friendship and that i also knew my partner well enough and we are in a secure, trusted relationship and in a very good place then I would be okay about it, I trust my partner and I trust my relationship with them.

Besides it isn't something that happens every day. Its just holding hands. Everyone has their own boundaries on these things. What's acceptable to come isnt for others. Its on the people within the relationship to determine what is or isnt and noone else needs to say anything.

Like some people kiss their friends on the lips a quick peck some even do it with family members...I personally wouldnt be okay with that I think that is crossing a line and thats my boundary on that scenario. Yet many people do it so 💁‍♀️

“Fans”?
Does this ludicrous and irrelevant woman have “fans”?
Oh, apart from the paid fans that pop up all the time on threads like these 🤨

the people like the op who trawl the internet to find stuff about Meghan, must be fans.
its easy to miss seeing stuff about her. so they must look for it.

SoNotaRealHousewife · 06/10/2025 16:30

It’s a bit odd

SoNotaRealHousewife · 06/10/2025 16:31

@SynysterGates not really, it’s in the papers

I actually think its really sweet to see people walking around d holding hands. Especially when you see elderly people doing it ans you hope that when you are always that old that you and your partner are still like that. Why is showing a small amount of affection for each other like.holding hands in public a big deal? Its not hurting anyone.

Elderly people holding hands have probably been married for decades.

AtIusvue · 06/10/2025 16:40

Coquettishly holding another man’s hand when you’re a married woman in your mid forties with two kids at home, is pathetic.

Not if you’re an influencer & in her ‘insta’ realm

You really don’t - it was all over social media. I assume because I was reading lots about William and Eugene Levy the day before that the algorithm threw me the other ‘royal’ stories the next day.

Everyone has different boundaries on what they will accept or not. Its not for anyone else to tell them what is or isnt right or pass judgement since what you think is or isnt acceptable to you will not be the same for others. So why judge or criticise someone for it?

This has come up before on this board where any public display of affection and now holding hands if you are 40+ is deemed wrong. Why? Because its not the British way? Well she isnt living here so 🤷

This is a very good question I think. Hard to pin down who her target audience is.

Is she trying to influence or attract?

What’s being British got to do with it?

Don’t pretend you don’t understand the norms of married behaviour and what is and isn’t acceptable, particularly in public.

15 year olds saving up their pocket money according to Megs

LynetteScavo · 06/10/2025 18:20

It’s only insensitive to her husband, so let her crack on. If I were a Harry I’d want to know why she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, and yes it’s awkward that it’s in Paris, but I think she just doesn’t think things through.

Absolutely. Isn’t this the woman who once likened herself to She-ra?! What happened?!

It’s also insensitive to other people who loved Diana but not surprised Meghan doesn’t give a shit!

She is very aware that Harry is traumatised by the death of his mother, she is very aware of how and where his mother died. She's either very calculating or just thoughtless..

That's it in a nutshell.

Lots of 40+ people I know hold hands. But with their partner 🤷‍♀️. Meghan is not five. She doesn’t constantly need to hang on to someone
