Meghan has just popped a video clip of herself in the back of a limo with her feet up travelling through the streets of Paris. Is this rather insensitive given the way her MIL died or is it perfectly normal to post such stuff?

Her daughter looks neglected and a bit feral. Poor kid.

I was thinking the same, it’s really odd.

Kids wi ne kids, my nephews can look neat when dressed hair done and 10 mins later after a bit of rolling about messy again. One of them at 4yrs old loves shorts will wear them any weather to the despair of my sister sometimes 🙄 he is particular and also wants to alwsys copy his brother and wear same thing or colour.

Let kids be kids and enjoy their childhood because eim sure when they are older they can then choose to do all that mum does or not.

The child should have her hair trimmed, conditioned and put up, out the way to protect her hair from becoming tangled ( as it can then hurt a child to brush them out)

Thats not happening. This is simple, basic ,personal care. It’s not difficult.

BasiliskStare · 28/10/2025 18:04

Re the fizz - I think it is described as in a matt black bottle with gold lettering. That reminds me of Freixenheit Cava , which to be honest for a reasonably priced bottle of bubbly I think is fine (£13 - 15 ish not $90 ) , I actually prefer Cava oftentimes to Prosecco. ( Happy to be corrected on any front )

I don’t get a vibe that meghan takes any interest in her kids clothes at all. I certainly don’t think she curated a collection of clothes designed to make the kids look like old money. Meg doesn’t understand what old money means. She certainly doesn’t dress like that herself, so wouldn’t make sense that that’s a ‘look’ shes set for the kids.

The kids look like they are dressed in clothes picked up in the supermarket. The clothes are all very similar- they each have a uniform: pink leggings and top for Lili; jeans, long top and jacket for Archie. Come rain or shine, whatever the weather, whatever the season.

Its the incongruous nature of the mother and daughter attire that sticks out like a sore thumb.

She wants to look like she hasn’t tried - unlike stuffy old fashioned other Royal kids I think. They are free…If it really is all about her & only her - in that she doesn’t care about anything but her image - it’s potentially quite worrying.

I have no idea who is even keeping an eye on Lili when Harry and Meg are holding hands staring at Archie at the pumpkin patch. Usually it’s the little ones that you need to keep a beady eye on.

Edited

It might be in formal pigtails every day for school for all we know & this is just about running free at home.

Did they insist on having the entire place to themselves? Looks a bit sad.

But everything about Meg, everything is over thought and over presented. Everything. The fact that doesn’t extend to her kids is telling.

If you are so concerned fo report them to the American equivalent of child services then! Jesus wept

Agree, telling & poss pointing to Mommie Dearest in future. Or an anti stuffy Royal children statement? No short trousers, no tights etc..

I am genuinely intrigued by Meghan labelling her sparkling wine “Methode Champenoise”. She could find herself being sued by the French champagne industry for that, as they zealously guard the association of “Champagne” and “Champenoise” with wines that have not been made in the Champagne region of France. If you make a sparkling wine in another location, you cannot use those terms, even if you follow the traditional method of making champagne. “Methode Traditionelle” is the only appellation you can give your wine. The other terms are officially protected as a Protected Designation of Origin under an international treaty.

(This is well known in the wine-making industry, obviously, so this is a really odd choice…unless the USA just ignores the treaty?)

Freixenet Cordon Negro is in a black bottle with gold lettering. Tons better than a bottle of indifferent prosecco.

Tezza1 · 28/10/2025 19:21

My first thought too. Edited to clarify: I mean the shape of the face and the colouring. Wasn't that A's hair colour a sort of chestnut originally?

MrsFinkelstein · 28/10/2025 20:23

I feel really uncomfortable discussing the children's appearance, and this is exactly why I don't think H&M should ever feature their children on their SM, it invites it.

As a mum who's own daughters hair (despite my very best efforts) often looked like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards im sure she did it deliberately to wind me up, I'm very aware it can feel like a losing battle.

However, if I was going to feature my daughter's image on my SM where it would be viewed by millions worldwide who would then pore over and disect her appearance - I would make damn sure her hair was brushed and neatly styled for the time the photos//video would be taken.

Spectre8 · 28/10/2025 20:42

And then if her children were there would be accusations why is making them dress immaculately like her, kids should be kids.

Either way she wont do anything right by some of you. And whoever said her kids looks feral what an awful comment to make and judging a child to be feral over the few glimpses you get...wtf

EmpressSisi · 28/10/2025 20:45

It all just looks so joyless. Not really the image you want when you’re trying to hock your tat!

That’s exactly why it comes across so poorly - after everything Harry has said about how damaging being in the public eye as a child was for him, they are creating a situation where they’ve set up the children and especially Lili to be picked over and criticized across the internet. She will be old enough to read all these things one day and see the videos.

I thought they were doing really well keeping them out of the public eye for such a long time. But now if you are going to use them in your social media campaigns they should at least be dressed and styled in way which makes them less vulnerable to criticism.

Mylovelygreendress · 28/10/2025 21:07

Do American DC not get dressed up to go pumpkin picking ? My youngest DGC did at the weekend ; had a great time .

Or people could just not “pick them over”? Just a thought.

ThePoshUns · 28/10/2025 21:18

And certainly not post a photo that leaves people speculating if a four year old has a pull up on ( I don’t think it is a pull up but can see how people may think it is).

Letmeoutodhere · 28/10/2025 21:20

I honestly don’t think she cares at all how anyone else comes across including her children. She is only focused on one person. Herself.

20goingon30 · 28/10/2025 21:32

Archie looks like a cool little lad. I hope he and his sister emerge from their upbringing unscathed. It would be better to educate the dc in the UK.
