Meghan has just popped a video clip of herself in the back of a limo with her feet up travelling through the streets of Paris. Is this rather insensitive given the way her MIL died or is it perfectly normal to post such stuff?

you are way overthinking that.

Hope you took some precautions before you made that stretch.

MrsLeonFarrell · 05/10/2025 13:35

I think it's a bit of a stretch to link the videos to Diana. She had another one focusing on her feet of her walking through a hotel. I'm not keen on feet so thought it was an odd, jerky way to film but that was the limit of my thought process.

MrsFinkelstein · 05/10/2025 13:47

It's a typical 'POV' clip influencers post all the time.

Very shaky, poorly lit, badly framed and unprofessional in comparison to most, but nothing unusual.

AnnaMagnani · 05/10/2025 13:48

If you dislike Meghan, there is always the option of not following her Insta.

goldtrap · 05/10/2025 14:11

Weeeell...I think, given H's well-documented trauma (I mean he documents it in the media) nothing exists in a vacuum. And she would be well aware - and actually welcome, given the 'teaser' nature of the story, the analysis and scrutiny it will generate.

So that said, to post a shot of a car travelling at speed at night through Paris and cut to her feet in the back is a little eyebrow raising. Given that everything is artful and 'curated', I would say this is a curious curation. So I think your point is not so moot

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 05/10/2025 14:26

As I have previously commented, I don't think Harry's wife is a particularly nice person. Given his trauma and fixation with what happened to his mother when travelling across Paris at night in the back of a car, it doesn't seem a very sensitive thing for a loving partner to post. The casual 'feet up' thing is particularly odd. I'm sure it's all just fine and dandy, though.

wordler · 05/10/2025 15:34

It’s even odder than just filming at night in Paris. She’s not doing a glam recognizable Paris night scene like the Eiffel Tower etc

She’s passing the Pont Alexandre III bridge showing she’s traveling towards and about to pass the tunnel where Diana died.

There’s no way that wasn’t intentional.

HollyhockDays · 05/10/2025 15:44

It’s very poor content. I wonder if she meant to post it on a private insta account. It’s very unprofessional looking even for a behind the scenes type post.

TheCatsTongue · 05/10/2025 15:58

It was done on purpose.

what was done on purpose?

Just had a peep at Megan's IG account and I can't see it - has it been taken down perhaps or is there more than 1 account

You can still see it on her stories.

It’s hilarious how desperate the fans are to find an excuse to have a go at meghan

Letmeoutodhere · 05/10/2025 16:29

It’s a deliberate ploy to get media attention in my view. She’ll do anything, anything.

Yes. How dare she even go to Paris in the first place given the MIL she'd never met died there nearly 30 years ago. Shameless 🤣

Agree that is a bit odd, she’s right by where Diana died and there’s a memorial of sorts there. Maybe she didn’t realise but I wonder what Harry thinks about filming that particular bit of Paris and putting on instagram for content purposes. At the very minimum it’s thoughtless.

PegDope · 05/10/2025 16:40

Omg that’s hilarious!!

I imagine your mental gymnastics have won their fair share of gold medals.

My sister does these types of clips and she isnt famous or an influencer bjt she likes doing them, its just something alot of people tend to do.

Not everyone insta post has to be professional and perfect all the time. In a world of Ai generated videos and images, filtered videos and images its nice to have people including famous people posting videos and images untouched, normal and not perfect.

Posting things about the end of ur night is also quite a typical thing to so. Ive done similar posts before...so what...💁‍♀️

EmpressSisi · 05/10/2025 16:54

Does she often film herself driving around in limousines and put it on social media? It’s strange that she’s doing it in Paris, given what happened to her very famous and beloved mother-in-law, especially driving right past the tunnel where she died. Considering how Harry described being in that area in Spare, you’d think she’d show more sensitivity towards him and his feelings, rather than chasing attention grabbing social media posts.

At this rate, it almost feels like she’s trolling Harry, not the ‘haters’ 🤷🏼‍♀️

Has Meghan ever posted these kinds of posts before? Or is driving near the Pont d’Alma tunnel the first time she’s done something like this?

Has your sister ever filmed herself at the end of the night, driving past the spot where her famous mother-in-law died in a car crash 💁🏼‍♀️

I wonder, was she (at the same time) shooting footage for the Diana documentary we hear they are making.

She knows what she's doing. Are people really naive enough to believe the first ever reel she puts up like this is coincidentally in Paris?
