Is Meghan a narcissist?

I keep seeing these reels and social media smears on Meghan being a narcissist and abusive partner to Harry. She certainly doesn't seem overly popular with the royal family or understood the expectations of her as a royal when she married him.

I'm by no means a royalist or a fan of Megan's. But I'm the same age as Harry so always felt I could relate a little to him. I haven't read his book or watched the netflix docs.

The main thing that doesn't sit quite right for me is they wanted a 'private life' and then done anything but. Did Megan use Harry's desire for privacy to isolate him from his family and friends?

No they don't they think ifs perfectly okay to be like that its just criticism lol more like bullying at this point. Poor woman cant even wear clothes she wants to and is happy to without other people making comments and acting like they have the right to control her and tell her what she should or shouldn't wear, should or shouldn't do, should say or shouldn't say, when to speak and when not to speak and ao on and on and on it goes.

I think you misunderstand people. If someone - anyone! - goes on record as saying “people associate me with beauty and fashion”, but are frequently judged by people, entirely independently of each other, to be dressed appallingly or in wrinkled clothes or clothes that don’t fit or clothes that highlight features which don’t exist…it’s just funny. And ridiculous and mendacious.

If someone - anyone - goes on record as saying they stand for protecting young people from the negative influences of social media, and then uses their own children to garner publicity on their own social media…it’s ridiculous and mendacious.

And so on and so forth with humanitarianism and compassion and all the things, when there are examples aplenty of the person doing all they things they publicly decry, for money.

What do you expect the world to do: say nothing? Not apply entry-level critical thinking because “bullying” (another example of hypocrisy)? Be kind?

People aren’t stupid. They know what they’re seeing when it’s flung at them time and time again.

75m people voted for Trump, many on the basis that he stood for the white working classes. Many others knew he would take their votes and dump them - which is exactly what’s he’s done, is doing and will continue to do. The former category just didn’t see it, or saw it and wanted to believe in it. The latter category saw it for what it was from the outset and said as much and voted accordingly. Same with Meghan: some people saw/recognised her from the outset for exactly what she is. Others didn’t see, or refused to see and still don’t want to see. The first lot are just waiting patiently for the second lot to get with the programme. (Or don’t, up to you, Meghan Markle isn’t an important or consequential person other than to herself, her family and the many people who make money off of her.)

I don’t think Meghan would have had much choice with the Paris outfits - she will have been invited and potentially paid to wear the designers choices - a day outfit and an evening one.

I think the white outfit would have worked better on someone taller but it wasn’t horrible - unfortunately it was very open to memes - Pope, Star Wars, straight jacket etc.

And this is Meghan’s dilemma - she’s so polarizing that brands will have to weigh up the clicks and attention that come with controversy vs the negative consequences of that.

No one would have been taking as much across the non fashion media about that show if Meghan hadn’t been there but the designer also has had his outfit absolutely slated and mocked across the internet.

Why would the designer pay her to wear an outfit that didn’t suit her?

She probably wasn’t top of the list for outfits choice. And some people do like it so maybe he couldn’t see anything wrong with it.

That seems to be the case as Meghan wasn’t on an invite list but she asked the designer if she could attend his show. So maybe he didn’t have many choices to work with.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, made a surprise appearance at her first Paris Fashion Week show, wearing two custom looks. How did that happen?
Meghan and I met some years ago, and we’ve been texting ever since. She reached out and said she’d love to come to the show. There was no strategy or big orchestration. I didn’t tell anyone she was coming because I wanted it to stay a surprise. In fashion, real surprises are rare, and this one was beautiful.

Omg she’s such a clown. So she basically sat down with her pr team and said where do I have to be seen, then invited herself because she knew someone. Who she wouldn’t have known before Harry probably.

She could not be anymore cringe.

That’s actually really embarrassing for Meghan to have this come out.

So she wasn’t invited, or paid to attend - she asked to come along. She must be fuming to have this out in the public.

The Balenciaga show was the only one she went to wasn’t it? I don’t really follow fashion, is it normal for celebrities to only attend one show in Paris fashion week?

I wonder how many other fashion brands she or her team reached out to and were snubbed in response?

It also makes the choice to associated with that brand more questionable

Does this really mean she had to buy their eye-watering ££ outfits herself or did they immediately offer to supply?

Anything to say about her betraying her old, good friend, Misan Harriman? In order to beg for a favour from a text message friend?

She probably can afford the clothes ( although why she would want that white monstrosity is beyond me) but the impression given was that she was paid .

AtIusvue · 12/10/2025 15:21

Balenciaga would have supplied the outfit but all other costs she would have covered herself……unless this has been for filming purposes….in Which case NF may be covering.

The NY award thingy…she had crew there because she released that laughing video. So maybe another docu for NF? If it is….its clearly centred on Meghan. I suspect thats why she asked to attend the fashion show- she needed content.

Remember the note in the Paris hotel room said ‘knock ‘em dead’ ….who on earth would send that to someone who was going to watch a show?. That’s an American showbiz expression. I suspect it’s because they knew Meg was putting on a performance.

Also, anybody getting vibes as this is how single Meghan would be living her life and it’s almost a dry run?
Between Paris and NY- she’s had Marcus with her the whole way. More trips to Soho house sans Harry. All very weird.

AtIusvue · 12/10/2025 15:26

She’s also been seen with Serenas agent in Paris and NY. So maybe she was the one who sent the Paris note?

I thought this but you have put it much better than me . I certainly sense a shift between H and M . Clearly H is desperate to be part of the RF again while Meghan is all about wealth , A listers and milking the title as much as possible ( if allowed to keep it!)

Very astute. I’ve always said we should judge Meghan by her future actions as it will point to her integrity.

Oh wow, that PPP revelation must sting like a hornet for a Megan! How embarrassing, but wow, such a ‘good’ friend would out her lie eh?! I guess he was getting some heat from Balenciaga, or the kings and queens of the fashion world to chuck that spanner in her web of lies 🤣 … slightly embarrassing that Ms Markle is trying to create her own content about her own grim fairytale she’s trying to write for herself

It all belies a pp’s repeated assertion that Meghan put her principles to one side over Balenciaga to help a friend launch his coercioncollection. The only person she was helping was herself (as usual), and betrayed an older friend in the process.

It is absolutely standard for celebrities to be loaned clothes from the new collection to wear to catwalk shows and after parties (it’s a win-win - they’ll get photographed wearing the clothes and featured in the press, so both sides are happy), but someone who is not already a brand ambassador being paid to appear is very unlikely. Particularly the sums being suggested here!
