Yet more damaging revelations for the Yorks. How did the Daily Mail manage to get hold of the email I wonder?

Actually I’ve reread her email to Epstein. There is a pleading tone. Maybe it wasn’t just about money - perhaps she was really trying to defend herself against legal action by him. Nevertheless it was completely ill advised and is only concerned with herself plus the whole tone of it is pretty strange, childish.

Letmeoutodhere · 23/09/2025 05:14

She’s sounds like she’s grovelling. It’s nauseating.

jumpingthehighjump · 23/09/2025 05:45

Had she been sued for defamation, the press would have had an absolute field day and that would have also gone down very badly indeed and exposed both her and Andrew and by extension the RF, to a great deal more scandal, surely?

I don't get it. I don't believe for ONE minute this pathetic excuse that a spokesperson of hers has come out with.
That she was trying to placate him and stop him suing her for defamation.

We aren't thick, far from it, despite the royal family treating us like we are. Let him sue! He had been convicted of sex trafficking and sexual assault of a minor and been in prison FFS! And how convenient that he can't contradict this as he is dead now. They could make up anything

Sarah would have come off well if there have been any such court case because she was cutting ties and calling him out for what he was. Given what he had done he would hardly win the case

No, she did the public statement but then thought ooops, you're my friend and you give me money, I better explain and make up to you. It is no different to what her husband did, Andrew sent an email saying "let's play again soon" after telling everyone on Newsnight with Emily Maitlis that he had cut contact.
They are both out and out liars and I don't believe one thing they say

They both publicly put out statements saying they had cut contact, then privately carried on their personal friendship with him. No more no less

Spectre8 · 23/09/2025 06:22

Well well well, look who the actual grifter is in the RF...where are the usual posters who (incorrectly) call someone else a grifter...absent of course...nothing to say all of a sudden....

The Yorks have always been grifters. Ditto the daughters.

Perhaps those that spend their lives calling Harry and Meghan grifters should read Andrew Lownie's book on the Yorks. They won't of course, because it will shine a light on the RF and take away their view of H&M being the worst people on the planet.
I can't even put into words how shocking it is as far as both of them using their names and titles to fleece any company and any person who walked their way. Incredible corruption for decades, they are all but criminals to be honest. Unpaid bills of the little people, charities set up and keeping a lot of the dosh,

Anything H&M have done pales into total insignificance compared to this pair.
An uncomfortable truth for some.

Bladderpool · 23/09/2025 07:18

I don’t think Meghan is a grifter, more of a hustler. She’s made of steel and will succeed despite all the hate she gets. I don’t actually like her very much but I do admire her ability to pivot and keep herself in the spotlight, making money that isn’t off the back of a convicted criminal.

No, just taking freebies wherever she can get them( free houses, free clothes, free trips to Disney). Is she actually making money from her jam and pancakes enterprise? I doubt she’s making very much at all.

Up to her. She doesn't live on a 98 acre Royal estate! . What she makes from her As Ever company is up to her isn't it? If it doesn't work, I'm sure she'll move on to something else.

Thats doesnt make you a grifter though.

If someone offers me free things and I want to take them I will..be stupid not to. Why spend money if I don't have to.

So what if she isnt making huge amounts of money? Why is that something you need to bitch about?

jumpingthehighjump · 23/09/2025 07:37

Because some posters want them to spectacularly fail at everything so they can keep the threads on here going. 🤣

So what? She’s not taking uk taxpayers money or liaising with child sex traffickers. Making some pasta on telly is hardly the crime of the century.

In a thread where Fergie and Andrew are once again exposed for their support for a paedophile this is your focus? Who gives a flying fig about jam when the issue is children being sexually abused by adults and members of your much loved rf if not actively participating in such abuse certainly supported it.
It always saddens me on this section that there is thread after thread on M/H but H's father who actively supported a paedophile gets excuse after excuse for his behaviour. All children should be protected whether 7 or 16 / 17, regardless.

legal action or the threat of blackmail?

What am I missing with this?

Apparently TDOY wrote that email under duress, she was being threatened with the prospect of being sued by an incredibly wealthy and influential man. The email is written in an overly frilly prose, so does sound like an attempt to placate.

I don't know what else she was supposed to do? Had she been sued for defamation, the press would have had an absolute field day and that would have also gone down very badly indeed and exposed both her and Andrew and by extension the RF, to a great deal more scandal, surely?

1). He had been convicted, so not sure what he could have sued her for.

2). It's not as though she retracted what she said. This email was private,

Are we still measuring the hate for Andrew, against Meghan.
If anything it highlights why H&M were made the scapegoats.
I admire her resilience.
My sympathy is for the victims, waiting years on justice

justasking111 · 23/09/2025 09:09

I seem to recall Harry fell out with Andrew a long time ago.

I can't understand Andrews obsession with Royal Lodge. It's an ugly house that he can't afford to maintain.

I’ve flip flopped a lot on MM, loved her at first, didn’t appreciate the documentary and Oprah interview and her tendency towards lying but now I’m thinking who in their right mind would stay in that awful family and subject their children to their skewed values. She did the right thing getting the hell out and blowing the whistle on their weirdness.

Oh yes. Harry and Meghan did the Royals a big favour... getting out and Oprah and the daft book... enough ammo to cover up anything the royal family were doing. But it's wearing a bit thin now surely?
The fact Charles and/or Harry want to reconcile is hardly a crime is it? But it generates gallons of media space thereby shutting out anything else going on.
No wonder they left.

legal action or the threat of blackmail?

Regardless of whether it was the latter, what better action could she have taken to get herself untangled save to write a grovelling, self-abasing apology?

The Royal Family live their lives in a contradictive quandary.

They are constitutional representatives of an institution that cannot be seen to 'fail'

It's all about not being seen to do extreme wrong. It's the public knowing the truth that threatens the longevity of the RF. All the bad relationship and family infighting stories are mostly a panacea for the public.

You can argue she shouldn't have become compromised in the first place, but being so, what better action could she have taken to avoid it all potentially coming out? If Epstein had resentfully revealed how much money she had received?

Letmeoutodhere · 23/09/2025 10:44

I think she should have taken the consequences of her actions rather than pander to an evil man ‘s ego. Because he truly was evil.

I read the Lownie book a few weeks ago. Ferguson is a parasite, leaping on the back of any host she can suck dry. Her and the Duke of Pork are a perfect match.

I don't this has been posted here yet but it's an extract from the Lownie book on Ferguson's spending money like water.

She's a very screwed up woman. I can point back to her amoral parents who loosely orbited the royal circle. Champagne tastes, beer money.

Her sister sensibly removed herself.

Yep. Her mother and Prince Philip were lovers in the 1960s.
Andrew Lownie's book opens with that humdinger.
