I think he's going cap in hand to ask for money. I really hope he's not got the nerve to ask to come back!

I think Williams jealousy of his brother’s freedom, loving marriage to a smoking hot, intelligent and hardworking wife, and charisma is reaching pathological levels. He needs therapy. He couldn’t be less suited for the role he is going to take on and if he doesn’t address his issues it will break him.

😝😝😝This was hilarious!

LaMarschallin · 18/09/2025 15:50

Two women who forged their careers based on their looks. Both described themselves as super-models. Both married rich, very high profile, very well connected, damaged men - in fact, Harry wanted to interview Trump about his childhood trauma and compare it to his own, as memorably recounted by Bill Simmons of Spotify.

No, neither were - or described themselves as such AFAIK - supermodels.
Anything else inaccurate?

Well some folks understood my post. It was meant kindly. I think if the sliding doors moment had been different and theyd stayed here and worked as Royals, today would have been cool.

Meghan could share her dish soap story to a new crowd.

You're right, BemusedAmerican.
I wonder what charisma is reaching pathological levels is actually supposed to mean 🤔
You know: to people who understand what the word "pathological" actually means.

Indianrollerbird · 18/09/2025 20:47

I’ve seen both described as super-models, by their fans, but I am more than happy to agree that neither were.

Lunde · 18/09/2025 23:54

I'm pretty sure that just after the engagement was announced that someone dug up a CV she had posted where she described herself as a supermodel (but it was hurriedly changed to humanitarian) but there are probably some screenshots still out there

IIRC she also listed her ethnicity as Caucasian

LidlAmaretto · 19/09/2025 13:56

I don't know about the 'supermodel ' but she posted she could pass as Caucasian, for an acting CV- which is more about the racism within the entertainment industry where mixed race people have to 'pass' because she was more likely to get work. Same with the ' tights nonsense- if you are darker skinned, 'nude' tights look ridiculous. It's a lack of understanding of what non white people have to face.

There may well be racism within the entertainment industry, but is it racism to portray the race of a character accurately? Is it ok for Mulan to be white? For Cleopatra to be portrayed as black? Or Martin Luther as Chinese? Surely skin tone matters in that industry?

Only if it relates to a character. If there are more roles that are general ( which there are) then describing yourself as White passing is describing your skin tone. She is half Black but she is quite light so she could pass in an acting role as Caucasian.

LemondrizzleShark · 18/09/2025 15:25

Neither of them were Supermodels! I can’t imagine Melania thinks she was ever up there with Christy, Naomi, Linda, Cindy or Claudia. And Meghan was an actress - it would be absolutely ludicrous for her to claim to be a Super.

Meghan didn’t claim to be a supermodel. So it’s okay.

Melania might have claimed it. Or, as is more likely, Trump might have claimed it. But I’ve not seen anything about it.

Meghan Markle passes as Caucasian because that’s how she sees herself. We know this from her own account, she didn’t know which box to tick on a diversity questionnaire. It’s a very easy question but one she was unwilling to answer about herself.

It’s because she clearly has such an issue with her biracial heritage that the accusations of racism against others are so hard to swallow. Otherwise, nobody would care a jot.

Meghan told a little ‘anecdote’ in the Cut magazine article that Harry told her she was a model, I don’t think she said he told her she was a supermodel though, that would have been stretching it into the realms of disbelief.

Slight derail but I am flicking through news headlines and this link came up from 2020
Especially interesting is the prediction that H and M would become billionaire global entrepreneurs . How the mighty have fallen.

BleinhamOrange · 20/09/2025 09:57

Why would anyone think they would become billionaire global entrepreneurs? People don’t achieve that just through celebrity. They need a lot of skill, judgement and luck (or corruption) and H&M had not shown much of that.

They managed to pull off some spectacular deals in the early days - $100m NF, $20m Spotify, PRH etc etc - the proceeds from those opportunities if invested and put into other businesses would have got them a long way in that ambition. Many other celebrities make a lot of cash from their commercial collabs rather than their initial talent eg Beckham

But they didn’t receive all that money upfront plus things like production costs have to be deducted .

So a prediction by whom? How have they fallen if they themselves havent been shouting about how they want to be billionaires? Fallen in your eyes maybe based on someone else's made up stuff

I think it's rude to tell people to 'calm down'. I've had posters say it to me, it's just a means to shut down discussion and opinion.

I am not shutting down the discussion however this poster often responds aggressively which is not acceptable .

jumpingthehighjump · 21/09/2025 10:24

Her post was reasonable, just an opinion, no need for 'calm down'.

Q.E.D

Indeed.

Mylovelygreendress · 25/09/2025 12:13

There is an interesting article by Richard Eden in the DM today . Behind a paywall and I don’t know how to Archive ( sorry) but essentially criticising the alleged plot to bring back The Sussexes following Harry’s cup of tea with KC.
Although why H and M would want to return to such a toxic family who made M ill and who forced her to wear muted colours and < gasp> nude pantyhose, is beyond me .
