Here is Sarah 2 days ago with her loafers embroidered with "never complain never explain"
She is with Amazon influencers connected with her Mills &, Boon book.

I do think the never complain mantra needs to be retired off!

Prince Andrew book seals his fate for any return https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c24z1l090dqo

interesting from the BBC

Yes, there is absolutely no coming back for the pair after this. Interestingly, in the interviews I’ve watched, Lownie says he is a monarchist and believes the most important takeaways from this whole sorry saga are the financial irregularities and alleged corruption not the sexual improprieties.

NewAgeNewMe · 09/08/2025 08:49

I’m a constitutional monarchist and until such time as a proper alternative is placed before us I’ll stick with the devil I know. Brexit has taught me that!

The Epstein saga continues to bubble on headlines worldwide, appearing in most serious newspapers the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Telegraph, and many more. I suspect this story has a long way to run. There’s talk that Trump may be going easy on Maxwell to avoid scrutiny if she is subpoenaed. Andrew should rightly be fearful if more information emerges—especially if photos are released. Michael Wolff, Trump’s biographer and a award-winning investigative journalist, has reportedly seen multiple Polaroids of Andrew with topless teenage models, shown to him by Epstein from his safe. If those images come out, the whole story will blow up once again. Wolff is arguably even more distinguished than Lownie.

I don't like any form of malicious speculation without solid facts to corroborate them. Would the comments stand up in court?

I’m kind of assuming that there will be evidence in the book (which I am still hoping someone will read on my behalf!) Surely there has to be? But I do think that there is a disconnect between the way AL has talked about the book and the way he has promoted it. I’m aware of how book promotion works, though.

At least the monarchs in history had to fight sometimes literally risk their lives to get to the top of the heap. They ruled through ruthless violence and an iron fist, always watching for betrayal from close relatives or blood brothers who might steal their crown. That kind of danger made for great Shakespeare and gripping movies. I’m sorry, but we plebs love the gossip, maybe because we no longer get the full Hollywood-on-horseback drama.

Though The Crown has made a good job of making a good drama out of the current crop.If only Cromwell hadn’t been a tyrant, we could have got rid of them all once and for all try the Yorks at the bar of the House, and thence take them to a place of execution, so help them God.

I have returned and discovered you are yet again grandstanding on the thread!
did you really think calling for the execution of the yorks was appropriate?
and Cromwell!
do I need to remind you again that this thread is not for republicans only but all posters?

Yes, the Mail is going long on the Yorks. I feel sorry for them — they don’t seem to have abandoned Harry, unlike the crueler royals. They now seem like rounded people who just had god-awful parents.

Just had to slip that in!
Harry hasn’t been abandoned !
by his own words , he left! 🙄

@OlympicWomen thanks for the clarification.

Those loafers are absolutely embarrassing and I agree. that phrase needs to be retired because its whats got them into this mess in the first place. Does she really think she will get away with not explaining her craven behaviour? The girls are up to their necks in it it too. At best they were wilfully naive about what was going on and how their bankrupt parents with no jobs managed to lavish them with diamonds and jewellery. They have managed to magic up money to pay for their mothers home. There is also some question about how their father suddenly managed to pay for repairs so he wouldn't default on his lease. There's now PR overdrive to save them because the parents are irredeemable. Otherwise they will be going lower and lower down the rankings to try and eke out 5 decent people to act as counsellors of state!

Where PA is concerned I don’t think it’s going to be a surprise to anyone if/when further Epstein revelations come to light. He‘s finished now anyway so 🤷‍♀️

I’m very much hoping we now start to see some of these other high profile men being held to account, the ones that have been hiding behind Andrew for the last few years.

Is anyone prepared to take one for the team and actually read the book and report back? Maybe hold a Q&A?

I've pre-ordered it on my Kindle & will read it so I'm happy to do it. Think arrives the 14th. Anyone care to join me ?
So, happy to start a thread when I've read it.

I may regret having said this 😂

I’m a constitutional monarchist and until such time as a proper alternative is placed before us I’ll stick with the devil I know. Brexit has taught me that!

A proper constitutional Monarchy should be held to account by the rest of Parliament though- the government, The Houses of Commons and Lords, the courts and the press. That is clearly not happening in this country, and no one really cares, which is why books have to talk about the salacious gossip. People should be interested in the way the Constitution works and whether our government and Parliament are working for us or protecting the Monarchy when they take the piss. Instead we get 'What about President Trump?' Monarchists should want a truly accountable Constitutional Monarchy. They will be their own downfall because they would rather use the instruments of State to keep their secrets than ensure that their family members are kept in check by the daylight of scrutiny. None of this 'never explain, never complain nonsense ( when they do complain, and use their lackeys in the press to do it for them) but never want to explain their behaviour.

I agree Curlew. I know they’re only excerpts for the Mail etc but I’m not impressed by Lownie’s tone.

Glad to have the Yorks exposed - not sure he’s got it right with other things, as far as these chunks go.

A lot of people are going to be dragged into the Epstein maelstrom. There’s a pic of Peter Mandelson with him in the paper today. I’m not saying Mandelson has done wrong - just that men like Epstein, like Savile, inveigle themselves into every area of society until they’re outed.

Alasdair Campbell talks about being “on the list” as well after meeting Ghslaine through Robert Maxwell.. More dangerous for Mandelson of course, because being openly gay means some people will automatically assume he’s guilty.

May I kindly suggest you take a look at the H&M threads here? I usually avoid them because, once you strip away the malicious speculation and mockery, very little remainsand there are an enormous number created daily, often fueled by some latest manufactured outrage. What’s more, they’re increasingly hostile to Meghan, who, love her or loathe her, has made a success of her life and appears to be in a loving marriage with wonderful children.

However there are facts associated with Meghan and Harry. They spilled the beans. The lies dropped out of their greedy little mouths and their limited brains. That is why there are so many posts about the pair. They are the manufacturers of their own demise.

CoffeeCantata · 09/08/2025 10:35

With hindsight (we??) older pps can see that Robert Maxwell and his ilk had red flags all over them but I remember a time when he was the darling of the establishment. His daughter Ghislaine was his favourite child and she seems to have looked for a daddy-substitute in Epstein.

I remember the heartfelt tributes to Maxwell when he died from all kinds of people in mainstream politics, journalism and broadcasting.
