I post this more in hope than experience but I would be really interested in a proper discussion about those who are fans or supporters of them , those who aren't and indeed ( of which there are many ) , those who are indifferent.

So - I'll start. There was an interesting post on another thread which said M&H come over as David and Goliath , standing up against "the Institution" - my paraphrase.

That's where I have seen them, and in the interests of balance it is also where I've seen some pretty vitriolic Kate fans as well. I think they are also quite active on Reddit and of course on Celebitchy.

I haven't seen anything near the same level of unpleasantness here, I suspect the moderating is the reason. And yes I'm including the really vile posts people who are no longer here, or at least here under the same names, posted about Catherine during her health battle. Those were awful but X is another level awful.

I also don't understand these innocent " what are the sussex squad?" posts. It's part and parcel of M and H's history.
It would be like me going on the Tack room and asking what is a saddle.

Please quote where they explained why they like Meghan and/ or Harry, which is the point of the thread.

Being a monarchist doesn’t have to come into it when it comes to not being a fan of Harry and Meghan. It’s way simpler than that and a lot to do with not liking liars for eg.

I believe you asked why the supporters were not on this thread explaining why they like H&M and the poster explained the likely reason why most of them no longer come on this board

Well he didn’t want out ! As has been discussed endless times . They issued their grandiose statement about collaborating (!) with The Queen etc etc and when he was told no ( probably the first time in his life!) they flounced off !
Hence the 5 year tantrum .

You're doing it again! You're just dismissing other posters as 'monarchists' and so avoiding telling us all these amazing things about 'H&M'.

Again disagree. I very much doubt people who dislike them but are not monarchists are starting or regularly contributing to threads on the h&m board (sorry, royals board).

I actually think Harry had been unhappy for a long time and it was him that wanted out.

If this was genuinely the case it would have been made to happen for him.

Without the protection of the Palace PR machine he's shown himself to be a petulant manchild with a nasty streak a mile wide. He'd shown us glimpses even before he flounced. He must have been an exhausting nightmare to keep reined in.

I think both family members and staff might well have been glad to see him take a backseat and facilitate it.

The ‘amazing things’ about H&M as you put it are out there in their interviews, documentary and books which I’m sure people on this board have watched/read.

if they haven’t managed to convince you in their own words I doubt I can.

I have only skimmed the thread however I have yet to see any serious reasons why people like them . As for wondering about M and H supporters “ disappearing “ , after the Where’s Kate debacle , lots left ( although some have sneaked back under different names).
And you don’t have to be a Monarchist to think H and M are lying , manipulative idiots.

I agree but I also think his treatment of his wife in not preparing her for the role that she could have had (and I think probably could have done well) also needs to be remembered.

He's also been quite cruel to other people, I've not read Spare but read enough snippets eg the matron? at school and the woman he lost his virginity to.

I wonder if his two exes have some examples of his unkindness.

I am sad for what I think is a missed opportunity, others may feel that it would never have worked

I wish/hope Meghan finds something that is going to provide them with the income they need, Harry is obviously incapable and starting to become an albatross.

The factual accuracy of all of the above has been heavily contested over the past 4 years, but I don't see the point in rehashing all that again.

So what you think is 'amazing' about them is their alleged victimhood? No special talents, abilities or characteristics?

You’re an interesting poster. Capable of some reasonable posts that indicate a certain maturity but then you show us very clearly that you’re nothing of the sort by saying things like h&m board (sorry, royals board)

And being a monarchist doesn’t go hand in hand with contributing to the RF boards. But then I am basing that on the amount of posters who openly say they’re Republicans and are also dismayed by Harry and Meghan. Then there are others who are perhaps interested in history and like the boards because of the history that’s discussed time and time again, and of course Harry and Meghan will one day be part of that history and it’s interesting how all of their antics will go down in history.

But Meghan was offered lots of support ; Sophie , Camilla , senior staff to name a few . She refused all of them and didn’t open the dossier of information she was given .
I agree that H could have been more supportive but I do wonder what would have been her answer if Catherine’s help had been offered ?

In the not too distant future they will be as relevant as Princess Margaret’s children . I have no idea how Harry will deal with that .
