As per the DM, we are told Meg is using Fairwinds Estate winery for her rose. Sounds nice.
But a Reddit user has discovered, that Fairwinds winery is just a brand under the umbrella of Wine gift shop. They do corporate gifts and print on demand. Oh Meg, as ever

she was very excited yesterday and counting down the sleeps.

Looking at the website you can't cancel orders or return goods.

But we know you can order things that are out of stock.

What a shambles. I thought Meghan would be better at this. Before she elevates anything else she might like to aim at basic competence.

$30 a bottle, that's £21.88. The Sussex wine with good provenance @IcedPurple linked is £16.

I think it's pricey for a rose, but in fairness have no idea what wine costs in the US.

If you buy 12 bottles it's 300 dollars, but shipping is still 20.

I like rose, if i drink wine at all, but never pay more than a tenner. It's so overpriced, like the rest.

I did once queue overnight in the snow for tickets for my favourite band but I was a teenager and convinced the lead singer would be my future husband (40 odd years on, still waiting 😂)

Yeah, you can get a decent bottle of wine in any supermarket for under a tenner, especially when there's a promotion. Rosé also tends to be at the cheaper end of the spectrum too.

But her fanz are being asked to shell out over $100 for 3 bottles of something which for all they know could taste like vinegar. That's a serious investment in the cult!

Snow Commerce who run the site, dispatch etc are notoriously bad with delivery dates, items not arriving and poor customer service

Sold out 🙄. Obviously we don't know how much stock she had but this is such a weird way to try and make money . I'm wondering if it's all just an ego boost and nothing to do with money.

Apparently they start processing immediately which is why you can't cancel. But if that's the case why do they over sell?

She can't be making money, even with the price inflation.

Maybe it’s all about creating hype to sell on the business?

I'm sure it would be affordable for lots of people if they felt they were getting a good product.

But why buy multiple bottles of a relatively expensive wine that has not been reviewed and you don't know much about the provenance or other relevant details? Being sold by someone with no background in the field?
