Megs gift shop wine

As per the DM, we are told Meg is using Fairwinds Estate winery for her rose. Sounds nice.
But a Reddit user has discovered, that Fairwinds winery is just a brand under the umbrella of Wine gift shop. They do corporate gifts and print on demand. Oh Meg, as ever

I know this has been asked many times before , so not really expecting an answer , but what is the point ? What's her business plan ? If something is selling really well , you keep your stock replenished, surely.

Again the picture in the promo shot is very poorly done. The wine bottle isn’t prominent and it’s at an odd angle. It’s very difficult to see despite it supposedly being what the picture is all about.

I don’t think she/Netflix are using production factories for existing brands. So they can only use smaller windows to produce their own.

I can’t get over the cringe of MM putting herself out there as a female founder. Naming a podcast “Confessions of…”, as though she has secrets from being a founder that need to be revealed. She’s not a founder AT ALL, let alone a noteworthy one. She’s just play acting, going toe to toe with real ones. You have to wonder at her grasp of reality. I don’t think she has much. Probably how she’s still going despite the massive negativity she gets daily, online and in print, from all quarters including the ones she respects. Her capacity for believing in her own bullshit is endless.

I suspect that the main way MM rubs people up the wrong way, be they staff or family members or PR agents or potential business partners or any of the myriad people we’ve heard of over the years, is that - like Confessions Of - she conducts herself in front of them as though she knows better than them about their areas of expertise. She was going to be more royal than the royals. She was going to be the best philanthropist. She was going to champion women like nobody else. She was going to do royal tours better than any royal ever even though she’s barely royal herself. She was going to “partner” with Flamingo Estates, “collaborate with” QE2 because don’t you know she’s just as good as them. She will embody Montecito like nobody else, especially not those who have lived there for generations. She’s the most entrepreneurial of all the entrepreneurs, so much so that she will tell them under the guise of interviews exactly how great an entrepreneur she is without hearing what they have to say. It’s like lying on your CV as an actress: sure I can ride a horse, give me the role! I’ll figure it out when I get there, and if it’s a disaster I’ll move onto the next role.

I think women like that Jamie Lima lady, her gal pals, Delfina married to Harry’s polo pal etc, are either of low self esteem/willing to diminish their fire, or are desperate for some
royal dust and gossip. It’s also possible that actually Meghan could be a really good friend and lots of fun - but at these stage there’s so much baggage you’d really have to work at that friendship.

She’s a fraudster, a dissembler, a trickster with her oh-so-careful language. She’s a hustler straight out of a Dickens novel. So basic.

Quoting myself to add that “they don’t take/listen to advice” is probably a polite way of saying “they think they know best, better than we professionals, we’re off”.

It will sell out or be deemed to sell out within the window of selling. It would be financially pointless having dedicated staff for the ongoing sale of one product. Costs will be factored by only needing a short selling period. This was obvious in the second drop. Items could have been re stocked as soon as available but instead stock was kept for a drop. The ice cubes remind me of the recipe on the WLM. Freeze water no shit Sherlock.

As an aide, I don’t get the pun that I presume is in the instagram caption: “Just one more sleep 'til the pour Rosé joins the party tomorrow. Cheers!”

I'm interested to see if the actual wine has a cork (as per the promo shot), or a screw top. It's more usual to have a screw top these days and, I believe, nothing to be snobby about. I rarely drink so have no great knowledge but a friend in the business told me years ago that there wasn't any real benefit to having a cork, depending on the quality of wine.

I think there's meant to be a full stop after 'the pour'. I assumed a pour is a fancy way of saying the official launch of a wine. But what do I know?
