As per the DM, we are told Meg is using Fairwinds Estate winery for her rose. Sounds nice.
But a Reddit user has discovered, that Fairwinds winery is just a brand under the umbrella of Wine gift shop. They do corporate gifts and print on demand. Oh Meg, as ever

tataler

I’m so excited for the wine launch tomorrow.

Really?
Particularly because it's wine or just because anything Meghan does is exciting to you?
I can understand people being interested in and/or even looking forward to something a celebrity does but not actually excited like, say, I would be for my family or friends.

Fairs

I did laugh at that. 🤣

Excited for her because she keeps on keeping on. I admire that. Hopefully it does well.

You’re very welcome 😀

How is writing Meghan Duchess of Sussex on a commercial website not using the title commercially? As PP have said they are not supposed to be using the HRH at all and not using their titled to sell things. Meghan is apparently doing both.

I can see an argument whereby that restriction is seen as unfair but there isn't an argument that it doesn't exist. It does and she broke the agreement.

My2cents1975 · 30/06/2025 13:47

It is quite interesting to see the determined hair splitting. It won't help. People are shocked that the wine is being released on Diana's birthday given that she was killed by a drunk driver.

One would think that at least one of the cadre of comms people would have said..."wait a sec? do we want this negative brand association? death and drunk driving? how about a 4th July launch...fireworks, summer picnics, fun?"

What a disaster!

Please nobody but deranged Meghan obsessives are shocked. I doubt most people know or care.

It was also the day Harry and Meghan first spoke or connected. How sweet for them.

I thought it was commercially?

From the official statement issued after the Sandringham Summit

“The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family.”

ranthanbore · 30/06/2025 13:52

Speaking of deranged Meghan obsessives…

To be blunt. It’s not for you to understand.

I’m just a massive fan of an endlessly smeared woman.

something you know in advance is just a relabelled ok-level product?

not tested by anyone, just pronounced. this is what i mean, for shame and shame.

For the last part it's produced by a mid level winery so it's not going to be any better than that, it's not rocket science. The world is literally awash with ok rosé.

The first part I just don't get, you're a fan so you're going to buy something mediocre at a silly mark-up - why not just send her 5 bucks? Do you think she'll somehow be grateful to you personally?

ok rosé that people buy all the time, so what’s wrong if I personally buy one from someone I like 🤷🏽‍♀️

So linking her commercial enterprises to her royal husband now too?

As she should, he’s her husband 🤣

it must be a sentimental day for them.

Serenster · 30/06/2025 14:02

Harry has absolutely no connection to As Ever, though.

Aside from his status as a Prince, and royal family member, which to be fair she has recognised is her main marketing point. As demonstrated by the choice of date for the launch of the rose - not just his mother;s birthday, but the very date they first interacted (just a reminder, no-one would have the faintest idea of that if they hadn’t themselves told us…)

I don't link my work to my husband.

But then, I am professional.

Do you run a lifestyle brand?

My2cents1975 · 30/06/2025 14:15

New PR: Being super-aggressive won't help sales. Your drop-shipping duchess has failed...at drop shipping!

As for all the dramatics about jam...what jam? There is no jam despite the many contract manufacturers in the US that make jam! There is only a runny spread.

As they say in Texas, all hat and no cattle!

BemusedAmerican · 30/06/2025 14:16

Teabag design is pretty timeless. I can only think of three bags designs - round, square, and pyramid. They all tend yo be made of similar (clasdoc) materials.

Wine sales are dropping in the US. That's why so many vineyards sell out to private label.

Fair enough.
I can't really relate to that level of fandom but it's nice that a stranger to her (I assume) is excited about something she does.
I'm sure she appreciates your support.

The failure is news to me lol but have it
