So they are showing faces now, how long until they are including them in everything, showing them fully.
I feel like this is a bit desperate now. It was their last card to play, the children. They’re trying anything now for attention, what do they have left, showing private videos of them after all the criticism about the Wales children being on display.
One thing about them is they always surprise me.

Had the Not My King lot purchased a truck load of tickets for Ascot??

I wish they had. I love it when the King goes past them and acknowledges them with a smile and a wave. 😆

Does Charles really do that? That's so funny and rather sweet! I might have to stand with the blank poster saddos next time so I can wave back!

Weepixie · 20/06/2025 08:44

@RandyRedHumpback yes, that’s why he does and so did the late Queen and Prince Phillip. It always makes me laugh.

Weepixie · 20/06/2025 08:45

I’m sorry I can’t edit my last post from my iPad.

I noticed he did that too 🤣🤭

Naughty King

The ‘not my king’ers do make me laugh. He is always going to be your king if you are British. We are literally his subjects. You might not like it, it might only be a technicality, but he is our King.

Yes - exactly this! They are silly.

I don't understand their tactics. We are a democracy and if enough people wanted to get rid of the constitutional monarchy, we could do so. Republic clearly don't feel very confident about their fellow citizens and voters. They should be lobbying MPs if they want change.

I like our system and the constitutional monarchy. I hope it stays - it's cheering and comforting in an uncertain and unstable world and cost really isn't the issue, is it, if Republic were honest about it? It's ideological, and I'm a total pragmatist with no time for rigid dogma.

But according to some republicans, getting rid of the monarchy would mean that all society's problems - especially homelessness and poverty - would be solved overnight. Yeah, right.

I didn't know that. Five fingers can sometimes mean the same as two.

I think Charles's bumbling manner and humility is very endearing and actually very disarming for many of this critics. I've read of lots of gung-ho anti-monarchists who've been charmed on meeting him. Not saying they became monarchists, but on a personal level they've liked him.

Whether it's a deliberate tactic, I don't know, but I think it serves him very well.

It’s weird because I think this photo reveals a lot.
No, not that she’s fucking insane acting like Wendy to Harry’s eternal little boy act.

But that all the As ever photos were clearly taken a year ago. It’s all the same dresses, boring poses etc. if this is a new and exciting business, surely you would be doing something right now.

At this point, it’s just stock images she’s putting out.

Why is As ever/NF not investing in new promo material? This is all from 2024.

ThePoshUns · 20/06/2025 09:53

lol is this her launch? Launching herself off a bloody swing?!! She really is a gift that keeps on giving 😂

And that’s one of the reasons I laugh.

Especially when I think back to Prince Phillip doing it.

NormaMajors1992coat · 20/06/2025 10:13

In Meghan’s defence I do love having a good go on a swing. I don’t think I’d use photos of myself swinging for PR purposes though. It’s a lovely shot but feels a bit old fashioned and out of touch to me, but I’m not really au fait with social media trends so perhaps this is cutting edge stuff.

RandyRedHumpback · 20/06/2025 10:26

First frolicking in the sea in a white dress, now on a swing in nature in a floaty yellow frock. She's one picture away from fellating a Flake in a field.

They're like Extinction Rebellion, Just Stop Oil etc. Not seriously trying to win people over, just out to be disruptive and piss people off. The man who protested outside St Giles Cathedral just as the late Queen was about to arrive for her lying in state was a particular low. I think the police had to pull him out of the crowd for his own safety.

I think some of the bumbling and humility came from the mistakes he made with Diana, which really hurt his public profile, for years and years, decades really. In the long term, it's often the most painful experiences that have the potential to become the making of us.

HiRen · 20/06/2025 11:59

She’s so predictably self-contradictory. No more than a fortnight ago she proclaimed on a pointless podcast telling whoever was listening that she works so hard, omg soooo hard (I’ll never uncringe myself out of “that man loves me soooo much” on that podcast, said with the exact tone an over-confident kidnapper might use talking about their hostage!). A week later she’s posting a photo of her swinging on a swing, so carefree and NOT working hard at all. Is this what she calls working? None of it makes any sense. And you just know she’s going to blame any and all failures on press intrusion and being misunderstood and the media giving her an unfair ride and marrying into the RF being the best and worst thing that ever happened to her. So utterly predictable. She’s so unintelligent, and undeveloped. You’d have thought that a woman of her age would have learned by now that you can’t expect people to forget things because you’ve chosen to.

Do you remember the painting of the aristo on a swing? Apparently it was a scandalous piece back then as it signified she had no drawers on and was available. Though I doubt either H or M know enough art history to be aware of it.

Yes! I think it's charming but the original viewers would have been raising an eyebrow. Times change. Now we have a twerking duchess.
