So they are showing faces now, how long until they are including them in everything, showing them fully.
I feel like this is a bit desperate now. It was their last card to play, the children. They’re trying anything now for attention, what do they have left, showing private videos of them after all the criticism about the Wales children being on display.
One thing about them is they always surprise me.

I think Charles's bumbling manner and humility is very endearing and actually very disarming for many of this critics. I've read of lots of gung-ho anti-monarchists who've been charmed on meeting him. Not saying they became monarchists, but on a personal level they've liked him.

Whether it's a deliberate tactic, I don't know, but I think it serves him very well.

Age brings much wisdom.

Do you remember the painting of the aristo on a swing? Apparently it was a scandalous piece back then as it signified she had no drawers on and was available. Though I doubt either H or M know enough art history to be aware of it.

Let's hope Harry isn't there in the bushes watching 😬

First frolicking in the sea in a white dress, now on a swing in nature in a floaty yellow frock. She's one picture away from fellating a Flake in a field.

😂

I never understand the messaging, if you have a brand or trying to portray a brand that is so popular that you can't release a partial stock as to not disappoint fans then why bother with clap backs, She did the podcast for the podcaster to release further endorsement. Why bother, it contradicts the everything rosy message if you have to double down on the message.

HonoriaBulstrode · 20/06/2025 13:00

I never understand the messaging

Me neither.

if the selling out quickly was a deliberate ploy to make it appear her stuff was in huge demand and create a buzz about it, she's lost any impetus now. It's been too long, people have moved on and forgotten.

If the selling out was unintended because she didn't have a plan for restocking, that's an unbelievable level of incompetence.

Maybe that's because it makes no sense at all @Vespanest?

I'm no expert in these matters, but to me it suggests nothing beyond an obsession with fleeting headlines and getting attention NOW, with absolutely no thought about where it's all going - an impression backed up when Meghan's replies to any questions about this make no sense either

😁You are so, so right, Talltrees. That's one of the things I find most shocking about Meghan (we know Harry is an idiot) - her lack of cultural interests - even in theatre. You never hear of these two attending ballet, contemporary dance, actual theatre, opera, classical concerts, lectures, art exhibitions, museums or other cultural events etc do you?

Why not? I thought all grown-up, well-educated people did all those things - and you'd surely think people with the privilege and wealth of H & M, and in their high-profile position, would do so? It's always sham award ceremonies, red carpet opportunities at some fakey Hollywood party or a Beyonce concert (nowt wrong with that in itself, but how about some other musical events?).

No - if you said to Meghan "How very reminiscent of Fragonard's roccoco masterpiece, The Swing! Were you referencing it deliberately?' I think she'd look blank.

I agree. She is all about the now and seems unable to forward plan or predict the consequences of her words and actions. She seemed far more strategic as an actress so I wonder if Harry is mucking up her plans, either that or she is simply out of her depth in business matters.

Well, that’s at least one way they should have fitted into the Royal Family!🤣

But how do you know she is not interested, she may be attending all these things in private? Reading about them, taking an interest. We would never know.

I don't think either of them have any cultural interests or much intelligence really.

So only well educated and grown up people do those things? What a load of nonsense. Going to the theatre, art exhibitions, etc is not for everyone.

My friend is well educated, grown up and very wealthy doesn't like the theatre, ballet or art exhibitions. She enjoys going to music events though not opera or classical concerts. She enjoys other types of music. She enjoys lots of other things. I wouldnt judge her for it or think less of her.

elessar · 20/06/2025 13:57

It will be interesting to see what happens with this stock release because it may give some indications on the actual plans with the business.

if it sells out immediately again it has to be another deliberately small run of stock with that in mind - if the sell out previously was a mistake as she claimed, then if her intention is to have her products as a staple that can be bought and repurchased, there’s no chance she hasn’t learned from the first experience and ensured she’s got enough stock to last as well as a consistent production stream in place.

Of course we have no idea of her stock levels, so if it doesn’t immediately sell out it could also be just that demand is lower than they expected. I’m sure we’ll get a positive PR spin on it whatever happens.

Harry likes a bit of Rock Cocoa, I’ve heard.

AtIusvue · 20/06/2025 14:23

She said in her podcast that she didn’t plan to sell out that quickly. Then what had she planned for? Stock that would last weeks? Then why was the planning so bad? It’s not as if the stuff is going to go out of date quickly, why didn’t they order a bigger inventory?

Whatever the quantities this time round..:it’s still not designed to be a product available all year round. So it’s still designed to be a scarcity drop. So those 15 year olds who have saved their money better move quick.

Will be interesting to see if theres rose wine like the papers have said. I know the fan merch company behind As ever- that’s a thing that they like to do with tv brands- they produce wine glasses. So maybe that’s something.

Which brings me to another thought. We don’t know how it all works but we do know:

  • Snow commerce are the suppliers/set up-run the website
  • NF are involved
  • Method communications does the PR

Thats a lot of outgoings for a start up. There’s no way they would even be near profitable unless they shifted huge quantities- Which we know they haven’t. Plus being ‘drops’ - they aren’t selling all the time which is what you need to do with consumable products to make money.
I know the products are crap and marked up ridiculously but it still doesn’t compute.

I think Meg doesn’t understand, that this isn’t how it works for a consumable product. That works for a company like NF who are all about creating hype and using their products to being in a bit of money and entice people to sign up for a subscription. All As ever is, is a marketing tool to get subscribers in. It’s not a sustainable business. Then suddenly the outgoings start to make sense

She doesn’t understand this is not a real company. It’s just gimmick for NF to get in the headlines and try and pull in some subscriptions.

I thought the new stuff was dropping at 8am West Coast time, 11am East Coast. That's 6pm here I think.

Who’s got the best pun?

That photo... She's not even swinging, she's just stuck her legs out and leant back a bit. Her hair is hanging straight down so you can tell she's static.

I really don't understand how this is helping her shift pancake mix and flower petals.

RandyRedHumpback · 20/06/2025 15:56

You are quite right @StaySpicy , it is a static, posed photos, and all the more peculiar for it. It looks like a still from a Timotei advert.
