H&M Fathers Day video

So they are showing faces now, how long until they are including them in everything, showing them fully.
I feel like this is a bit desperate now. It was their last card to play, the children. They’re trying anything now for attention, what do they have left, showing private videos of them after all the criticism about the Wales children being on display.
One thing about them is they always surprise me.

Imagine being obsessed with two people you've never met and don't know
Moaning that they just want attention and then starting an internet threat and giving them attention is a tad hypocritical 😂

Who’s issuing threats?

There is nothing on line to suggest, when the term was coined, that it was anything other than the sycophantic saccharinity of Meghan’s followers

If you scroll back to 13:29, @Nagginthenag, Serenster's just done us all a service in showing that the term was actually coined long before Meghan came onto the scene, and that therefore the "explanations" attaching it to her ethnicity as are silly as they seem

Not thaat there was ever much doubt, but it's still good to see it put so clearly

Dallas Check This Out GIF

@Serenster with the receipts!

Gayle promised us receipts after the Oprah interview...but tumbleweed.

What I found disturbing is that the Sussex Squad actually calls itself that phrase and seems OK being called the SS. I've seen photos of members clutching Sussex Squad signs and greeting M & H in Nigeria, Arizona, Canada. One of the prominent members goes by the name of Kaiser, as someone mentioned earlier in this thread.

Yes I noticed this !
rather shocking isn’t it?

TulipTiptoer · 16/06/2025 16:04

Yes they have, a lot.

Cute footage of W and Charlotte talking about Women's world cup, because he couldnt be bothered wasn't going

And what about the endless schmaltzy videos of them on the beach in Norfolk, in woods, jumping around on camera
I know exactly what each of them looks like, even down to their latest hairstyles

Can't say the same for their cousins across the water.

Up to Harry and Meghan, the kids look so sweet, what I can see of them

Those photos on the Norfolk beach are on on special occasion. So if you are ok with the Sussex video on father's day, why would you find issues with Norfolk beach photo?
I am guessing most people have decided to take sides, and go full on proving other side bad.
Also, it's not just UK's royal family kids are photographed, it's with royal kids in other countries too. UK is an English speaking country with wider reach than Denmark, Spain, etc., so these kids are more recognizable than other royal kids.

I think the father's day video was cute but it came our soon after the pregnancy video posted on daughter's birthday, which I think was too personal for a couple wary of public interest in them.

Uricon2 · 18/06/2025 15:10

@jeffgoldblum and there was me wondering if you wouldn't mind telling Sam Neill that I wuv him. I'm gutted I tell you, gutted!😂

What have I scrolled into. Agree with @BemusedAmerican that the Sussex Squad embracing use of the initials is disturbing. When you work for a local government department with the same abbreviation you try never to use it (although it can get used at you)

ETA Hopefully the ruins of a Roman town in Shropshire won't mind me using their shortened name.

BTW, here is the Rebecca English article mentioned earlier in the thread:

Oh most defnitely!

As MN's self-appointed, self-sacrificing Celebitchy correspondent, I can confirm that the term Sussex Squad, or Squaddies, is commonly used with approval and the tone is very much - 'we're either members or we stand with them'. No criticism of the SS there.

One example : when a woman sued Meghan for a skin problem caused by her bath-salt recipe they were frothing. One said 'Wow - Sussex Squad gone go ape!' Several others approvingly hoped that this woman would be hunted down by the squad (they knew her name etc) and would live to regret her action. Nice. To Celebitchy, the Squad are the Good Guys.

I would take a lot of convincing that H & M are unaware of this. A LOT of convincing.

CoffeeCantata · 18/06/2025 15:30

Sorry - can't find the relevant post, but someone mentioned that TP agreed to be godfather (no irony intended) to Archie on the condition that he didn't have to meet the RF. Charming!

And Harry just thought that comment was OK? I'm not saying TP should have to meet them (why on earth would he?) but that Harry was OK with this implied insult to his family is shocking. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome.

So Harry stands by their claims that his family are racists???Despite trying to crawl back on the claims? I'm confused.

Still would not like my name used in that way by anyone especially to spread negativity against another human being. I actually do wonder what he would think if he came across the posts or someone printed them out for him.

JustNavy do get a grip dear

If Harry and Meghan had not been members of the Royal Family, Tyler Perry would not have taken their calls, let alone agreed to be their daughter's godfather.

BemusedAmerican · 18/06/2025 15:51

Well, Just Navy, when I saw your username I assumed it was your preferred color palette and you liked monochrome dressing. I had no idea that you meant it as social commentary.

Maybe Jeff Goldblum will assume that jeffgoldblum is an actual person with that name 😃. BTW, if someone on here was calling themselves Yoda, no one would believe the actual Muppet was posting on MN.

As I said before this sounds like projection. Unfortunately for you not everyone hates Meghan.

Unfortunately for you more people dislike her than like her. Very few people actually hate her, so I suppose you could cling onto that.

Absolutely! That's the irony.

But I think Meghan has convinced herself by now that her 'elevation' in the world of celebrity is entirely down to her own innate talents, charisma and hard, hard work.

Er... I think the 'everyone hates Meghan' is very much in YOUR imagination.

Lots of people see through her, find her antics either amusing or incredible, and/or are very critical of her. Very few people on here, I think, have feelings much deeper than that.

I can't speak for other SM - I'm sure there may be actual 'vitriol' 😁there.

Uricon2 · 18/06/2025 16:01

There is an irony in someone who is either a total newbie or has namechanged to post on this thread critiquing the username of a poster who had been around for years and has a consistent identity.

A quick look at Celebitchy (wear shades) confirms that M&H supporters on there post stuff that would get anyone of us a lifetime ban on MN. It's OK though, because it isn't directed at the precious ones.

Don’t think Harry would be as measured in his words. Last I heard he felt sorry for the trolls and would certainly lead with that.
but as for the post, at some point this conversation will need to be had, how much longer can this volume that goes beyond mere criticism continue and be allowed to continue. I think we’re a few years away from regulation catching up with technology/social media and there’s bigger fires burning in the world right now. So on and on it will go.

Harry’s the biggest troll of the lot

Tempted, I am… but keep up the speech patterns, I cannot.
