So they are showing faces now, how long until they are including them in everything, showing them fully.
I feel like this is a bit desperate now. It was their last card to play, the children. They’re trying anything now for attention, what do they have left, showing private videos of them after all the criticism about the Wales children being on display.
One thing about them is they always surprise me.

Not seen anything in the press that picked up on the podcast being over/ dropped etc

Anyway you cut it- it’s another failure. Why launch and not mention that this is a limited one off series? Because it wasn’t …she thought it would go on.

It’s because it never performed well and either she sees no point in doing it because it’s not as successful as she wants or lemonada …said nada ….to another series ….but the end result is the same. Big fat failure.

Vespanest · 17/06/2025 12:31

I don't think it's very authentic to have pride in being good with money and not frivolous when instagram product placement is designed to take advantage of frivolous spending often of those who shouldn't be trying to spend to recreate an unobtainable lifestyle that the really cannot afford

Sugars is a very American word I think? I am not sure if it means a liker or disliker of Meghan. .
I used to see the Where's Meghan threads when she was quiet, written by those who weren't getting their dose of Meghan activity to criticise and pull apart in great detail. Some habits are hard to break maybe 🤣

They are her dedicated fanbase, not just love but pure infatuation, and an absolute refusal to see her as anything other than perfect. I think the general consensus is that they are of quite low IQ (to the point of unintelligible, inarticulate rants against anyone who dare criticise her). I’m not on twitter or anything but I think that’s where a lot of it goes on.

2024onwardsandup · 17/06/2025 12:37

yes she thought imposter syndrome was about posturing that you know something you don’t 😂😂😂😂 THE IRONY

She seems to like the excitement of starting new things but hasn't got the attention span to keep going through the hard bits, which means she won't achieve long term success.

Interesting. Thanks!

I imagine there's madness on either side!

She’s really not as bright as she thinks she is, she’s used simple words wrongly before. I don’t think she would ever suffer imposter syndrome, she is far too full of herself to think she is ever lacking. In fact the only area she probably thinks she lacks is money.

I do firmly believe she is a malignant narcissist. Everything points to it.

HonoriaBulstrode · 17/06/2025 12:51

I thought COAFF was going to be successful businesswomen talking about how they'd got to where they are, how they started out, their successes and failures along the way, advice to young women and so on. That could have been interesting if well done with articulate guests. But it seems to have been M and guest squealing about trivia, so no surprise really that it's not continuing.

I hadn't heard of Emma Grede, but I like the sound of her.

Oh yes for sure. I do think, for the most part her critics (I am one, but pretty moderate as I can’t be arsed that much), have higher levels of critical thinking and have more rational reasons for calling her out. To slavishly follow anyone without ever being remotely objective of them
is not a sign of intelligence. Even my most favourite celebrities are not above my critiquing them.

70% of women have had feelings of imposter syndrome at some point in their careers, according to a report. Gwyneth Paltrow, Michelle Obama, Maya Angelou, Sheryl Sandburg, Helen Mirren and plenty more very accomplished women have all spoken about it publicly.

Not Megs though, I guess because her whole life is a charade of trying o be something she is not.

It’s interesting that she thinks that telling everyone how much she loves making up lunch boxes makes her relatable to the rest of us. But as someone said (and, in fact, so did Emma really), most mums hate it as it’s yet another chore on top of the millions of other things we have to cram into our day.

She doesn’t “frivolously spend?” Maybe not her own money. But she sure as hell didn’t mind spending Prince Charles’s and the British taxpayers’. I’m thinking of that engagement gown.

Edited

The bespoke Dior, Givenchy, Stella McCartney etc, plus accessories, all paid for by Charles.
The wedding paid for by the UK taxpayer and Charles.
Nor ever a word of recognition or thanks.

I know some people think Meghan is ND, I haven’t really considered that before but this is the first time I’ve noticed something that might suggest it.

That Emma has Markle's card well and truly marked. Very nicely done.

I loved the subtle puncturing of the perfect mother stereotype with the lunchbox and volunteering stories. Done with what sounds like classic British self deprecating humour which probably went straight over Markle's wig.

I agree La Markle is not as clever as she imagines. Far from it.

She doesn't have imposter syndrome. She is an imposter!

@AtIusvue I remember you posting during an episode of the TV show she was in, laughed out loud when you wrote (paraphrasing)

'guys, she's putting fruit on a plate and said you can arrange different colours of fruit like a rainbow. I am not making this up.' 🤣

It sounds like there were some good questions asked but the need to keep up some sort of mask meant that the answers were enlightening, but not in a positive way.

There is no shame in admitting to imposter syndrome. There is reality in saying that you fear failure but try to learn from it. This intense positivity, "all is well in the best of all possible worlds" is inauthentic, unconvincing and whether this confidence is real or not (I suspect the latter) unendearing.

Emma: what advice would you give your younger self?.

Meg: lists a bunch of fridge magnet quotes. Says her 15 year old self would be really proud of her today.

Emma: what are you currently aspiring for in your personal life?

Meg: success, emotional success. (No I don’t know what the hell that means either)

Thats it folks. Over and out!

Thank you for your service in listening and telling us :)

As well as the 100K dior maternity dress that was worn once. Not a great dress, either.

Thedom · 17/06/2025 13:34

Emma said in the interview with Gwyneth that she doesn’t ever experience imposter syndrome. I think Meg’s was leaning into Emma’s feelings about that’s, rather than her own.

Is that clip anywhere? I really think I want to see it. God knows what Emma must have thought (who obviously knows what it means). I assume she didn’t inform Meghan that’s not what it means, shame.

This interviewer isn’t giving Meghan all her own way by the sounds of it

Probably better to listen for yourself if you’re interested in the answer to that. I thought it was a good interview and Meghan came across very well. It definitely highlighted why she wouldn’t have ever been allowed to stay as a working Royal long term.
