So they are showing faces now, how long until they are including them in everything, showing them fully.
I feel like this is a bit desperate now. It was their last card to play, the children. They’re trying anything now for attention, what do they have left, showing private videos of them after all the criticism about the Wales children being on display.
One thing about them is they always surprise me.

That’s it. She maintains expressions for a few seconds too long and it just looks weird. I don’t know anyone in real life who does that.

It's basically not very good acting. Most of Meghan's behaviour is studied and forced, and she's just not very good at it.

It’s interesting that she thinks that telling everyone how much she loves making up lunch boxes makes her relatable to the rest of us. But as someone said (and, in fact, so did Emma really), most mums hate it as it’s yet another chore on top of the millions of other things we have to cram into our day.

She doesn’t “frivolously spend?” Maybe not her own money. But she sure as hell didn’t mind spending Prince Charles’s and the British taxpayers’. I’m thinking of that engagement gown.

I'm thinking of that £32m spectacle three days after the actual.wedding.

slinkiemalinkiey · 17/06/2025 14:32

I actually watched that interview with Meghan and Emma. Jesus how long can she talk about a jar of jam 🙄 it's embarrassing to watch. Meghan seems to think 15 year old girls are saving up their pocket money to buy her stuff. Deluded 🤷‍♀️

slinkiemalinkiey · 17/06/2025 14:33

Mind you I was distracted by Meghan's Hitch hiker thumb. Once I saw it I couldn't stop looking.

JustNavy · 17/06/2025 13:52

Probably better to listen for yourself if you’re interested in the answer to that. I thought it was a good interview and Meghan came across very well. It definitely highlighted why she wouldn’t have ever been allowed to stay as a working Royal long term.

Allowed to stay? She left of her own accord because she wants to be a Kardashian.

Kinkyroots · 17/06/2025 14:45

Cute, contrived and calculated. The pair of them are horrendous

Blink Omg GIF

It's the blinking all the time. Her eyes must be exhausted!

threesocksmorgan · 17/06/2025 10:38

you must be new. there actually was a "wheres Meghan? " thread when she went quiet.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if she had remained that way

LaMarschallin · 17/06/2025 15:03

Just clicked on that link and noticed it's one and a half hours long!
Exited immediately.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 15:07

So I had listened to the podcast, but had a quick look at the video. She really does have odd mannerisms. Intense eye contact with raised brows, to then looking in any direction except the hosts, to closing her eyes, to rapidly blinking. She’s all over the place. Like shes constantly malfunctioning.

Like she was on the Drew Barrymore show. She’s very awkward.

You can scrub through it. There are various ads for Emma throughout.

Yup now you see what I mean about how embarrassing it is to see M going on about jam for so long . Meghan saying she will invite Oprah over for lunch so that Emma can meet her 🙄 M talking about her various teams and said she has 80 - yes - 80 in her own one plus her " office" and then the Netflix team. In my defence I'm in recovery after being ill for a few days so have time to waste.

slinkiemalinkiey · 17/06/2025 15:15

I'm not sure whether Emma was doing a number on her while trying to make it sound all so relaxed. I had never heard of her before but have googled since. Her whole life has been about fashion. Mean while M was talking about selling scrunchies at 15 and this was the start of her business acumen. It's honestly cringe 😬

Does billionaire rain maker, Emma, need jam 'n' pancake Meghan to introduce her to Oprah?

slinkiemalinkiey · 17/06/2025 15:18

@RandyRedHumpback Emma said she was introduced to her by Gayle but it was a fleeting moment. Cue Meghan.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 15:30

You can see the difference between the two- Emma has drive, clarity, down to earth- you can tell she gets shit done. She’s too busy to be making packed lunch boxes
Meg waffles on, talks in circles, never answers a bloody question, talks in banalities, says she’s too busy to do a podcast but loves making packed lunch boxes every night. She’s not in any way shape or form a business woman….its play acting for her. It’s clear she isn’t the type to be all in, which is what you need to be if you want to make it like Emma.

Emma admits she uses a lot of help. That she doesn’t do the school run and doesn’t pack their lunches. Thats not for everybody but you can see how much she devotes to her business and how she is where she is today.

Meg surrounding herself with billionaires, has led her to believe this is what she can achieve too. She has no idea.

You can genuinely see how As ever will never work. If she gives up a podcast this easily because she was too busy editing WLM (she wasn’t actually doing the job herself though!), which had a loose connection to her business, it shows she has no commitment/drive.
If she was dropped, it’s shows you she doesn’t know how to make anything successful.

As ever ain’t ever, going happen for her. It will be a time limited venture. 2 years max. Once the NF licensing agreement comes to an end.

I should have said "Thanks" for putting the link too.
Maybe if I'm having an insomniac night...😀

Oh God, yes!

Vespanest · 17/06/2025 15:45

At some point Meghan needs to test her market, the 20th will tell if that's then. Selling out may bring hype but having stock brings the money. Were I do have sympathy for Meghan is their actions especially Harry's have made it impossible for Meghan to admit mistakes and be humble as it would be immediately jumped on as admittance of guilt and taking responsibility of their time in the royal family. The hard part is that it's them that actually need closure but they don't have that control. I doubt the team of 80 are her permanent staff but belong to the company she uses, as that would be throwing money away.

slinkiemalinkiey · 17/06/2025 15:46

Emma is on a different level - estimated worth of 400 million dollars. I think this article title says why she is successful. You can't say this about jam and pancake mix.

It’s important to note too, that we all said the podcast would get a high turn out at first, then crash and burn because the podcast had no substance. We could see it. Now we know there will be no series 2. Like predicted.

It’s the same with As ever, I’m sure there will be intense interest at first but it will never be a long term thing.

Maybe her team count includes the gardeners, the beekeeper, the nannies, and everyone who ever worked for her, including the ones who quit.

Thedom · 17/06/2025 16:04

When Emma said she didn't want to do lunches or school stuff, I am surprised Meghan didn't row in with the YET answer., 'you don't want to do that YET, Emma'

The reason M's ventures get a lot of attention is because of UK journalists and the UK public driving up the initial numbers. After that look-see is done M's numbers collapse because there is very low interest in the US. Online interest is no real indicator as social media likes are as easy to buy as paper towels. Bots mimicking human speech are ubiquitous on the internet and over half of online messages are bots...not humans!

I think a lot of people in the UK do not understand just how non-existent H&M are in the US celebrity landscape. Hence the twerking and merching the kids. There is a desperation to get US attention, but unfortunately for H&M, Trump dominates all media coverage in all forms. It is all Trump all the time because his policy decisions affect prices at the grocery store and the petrol pump, so everybody pays attention.

The only celebrity who broke through in a major way was Tom Cruise...and whatever you think of him, the man hung off the side of a plane in his sixties, in South Africa and filmed himself!

Tom does it so the rest of us 60somethings don't have to. Respect!

Megs wants to share her jam/sugar spread with everyone globally. Sharing at a price is called selling. What if we don't want it, it's a saturated market.

She might have better luck if she made replacement USA stuff that used to be made in China and took advantages of whatever incentives are available for USA manufacturing.

She comes accross as a start up, fake it till you make it, culty, silicon valley/south Califirnian grifter.

Megs tries to walk a fine tightrope between being a self made success and not being too gritty. I didn't watch it all, just the first 20 minutes or so, it's an infomercial. The grandparents antiques business reference, is a new route for Megs into sharing (selling) homeware and interior design elevated brain farts. This is also a saturated market.
