So they are showing faces now, how long until they are including them in everything, showing them fully.
I feel like this is a bit desperate now. It was their last card to play, the children. They’re trying anything now for attention, what do they have left, showing private videos of them after all the criticism about the Wales children being on display.
One thing about them is they always surprise me.

Because she thinks she’s interesting and successful already, she doesn’t need anyone’s advice.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:32

God now we’ve got a new angle that we’ve never heard. She got her entrepreneurial spirit from her business owner grandfather who had an antique store where she would help out after school. Ffs

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:36

Megs says she started the As ever company- because the jam she gave out to friends as holiday gifts, loads of her friends then texted her to say ‘I don’t know what it is, but your jams just make me so happy’ - so she started a business

She. Is. Fucking. Insane

Yes, I really enjoyed Emma on the goop podcast, she has an interesting story of how she got to where she is. Herself and Gwyneth both agreed getting to where they are was by having the right teams around them. Emma also has an extremely wealthy husband, which does seem to be a common theme with all these female founders we are hearing about.

Edited

I haven’t heard the podcast but from Emma’s accent I assume she came from pretty modest beginnings. Her wiki page states she’s biracial and was raised in a single parent household. So she might be quite an inspiration to Meghan who had a similar start in life, but has yet to make an impact in business on her own account.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:39

Meg Acknowledges that the NF deal- its just fan merch like Bridgerton but they are building the brand/ show as they are doing it.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:42

Listening so far, Emma is a great interviewer. Very down to earth and doesn’t suck up Megs ass.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:44

Meg saying she works from the other Netflix building ‘ consumer products’ - Which I think is her way of saying there no more production deals going on.

But surely it makes them happy because their friend has gone to the effort of making them jam?
We have a surplus of berries in our garden so I make jam and give some away. The fact that people appreciate a gift of a small jar of homemade blackcurrant jam doesn’t mean I think I should sell factory made jam commercially.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:47

Emma asking what is actually the NF partnership for As ever- who does what.

Megs totally evades the question with word salad. I’m not sure how much influence she actually has

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:49

I think it’s just a licensing deal. This isn’t really her company.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:54

Meg a bit taken a back when Emma said the consumables business is notoriously hard to get right….awkward

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:57

Meghan desperate to get Emma’s involvement with fashion- that ‘they can talk about that later’

That Megs taking As ever global

Megs is looking mighty thirsty on this podcast

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 09:01

Emma: Do you have imposter syndrome?

Meg: No

😂

🤣

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 09:03

Megs saying she doesn’t have imposter syndrome- because that means posturing that you know everything and she doesn’t do that.

😂

DipsyDee · 17/06/2025 09:05

You just know that an at home with the Sussex’s article in People magazine is coming

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 09:08

Emma: Did you plan the scarcity of As ever products for a sell out

Meg: no it was a suprise.

No it’s wasn’t Meg, you had very little product and was designed to look like you sold out quick. Ffs

threesocksmorgan · 17/06/2025 09:08

they can't win.
don't show the kids faces - how dare you show their faces?
do something - why won't they just go away - where are they?
don't spend time with their kids - why are they showing them with their kids?

I could go on , but the list is endless.

slinkiemalinkiey · 17/06/2025 09:10

Asking people to tell the truth? This is another dig at the RF again suggesting that they are all liars.

Suszieq · 16/06/2025 23:26

If you go on to a thread to bash people you won’t ever meet. I think it would apply to you hun

But here you are doing exactly the same thing. Oh the delicious irony

All this talk of televising Spare and who would play Meghan and Harry has reminded me of something!

I live fairly near Windsor. There's a garden centre cafe I go to occasionally where one of the waiters looks a lot like Harry. Poor chap must've had a lifetime of Prince Harry jokes.

Last time I was there, there was no sign of him. My friend asked the young lad serving us where "Prince Harry" was. The young lad told us he'd actually left to take a job at a cafe in Windsor Castle.

I've thought occasionally that this lad, innocently going about his waiting, must have thrown many a tourist and visitor into a frenzy of confusion and excitement ... :)

I wonder if that is where Lady Louise worked for a while before going to Uni

They can win by stopping the lying and the desperate attempts to say relevant

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 09:16

Emma asking in a round about way of NF will continue to partner As ever or if she will have to go out and raise finance. Meg answers in a round about way that maybe yes.

So maybe the NF partnership is only for x years

Bickybics · 17/06/2025 09:18

People saying they are always leave their kids/showing photos of their kids aren’t the same thing at all?

Emma: the rates of failure for first time entrepreneurs is huge, do you think about failing?

Meg: ‘no I don it think about failure’ she says quite sternly.

Meg is just so conceited. She doesn’t get the presenter is trying her best to make her look relatable and real.
