So they are showing faces now, how long until they are including them in everything, showing them fully.
I feel like this is a bit desperate now. It was their last card to play, the children. They’re trying anything now for attention, what do they have left, showing private videos of them after all the criticism about the Wales children being on display.
One thing about them is they always surprise me.

Imagine being so self important that you'd expect someone who is DEAD to help you out, and take pity on you as well, even though you're alive and well and Diana is you know, in a grave. Still M wants her to feel sorry for her.

Perhaps it's more about being in control of Harry. He's such a fool, he'll believe that bunkum.

When Meghan was asked if she would do anything differently to change her narrative the way she placed that on others actually made me cringe. I don't think I know anyone who would not be self deprecating if asked that question. It came across so smug.

Most people would pause, reflect, and consider their own behaviour, even in a minor way.

sammylady37 · 17/06/2025 06:59

The way she pauses and closes her eyes whilst smiling and sometimes murmuring seems very off to me. It’s utterly contrived. She seems to do it an -awful lot, I’m not sure why. But it looks the opposite of authentic.

I can’t imagine who would play Meghan in this drama though. Who would Meghan deem to be a good enough actress?

Herself.

Everything seems studied. Everything exaggerated. Her facial expressions make her look like an actor trying to play a human.

Think this is what the writer of the cut article was on about when she said Megs speaks as if she has a producer from The Bachelor talking in the ear.

Thedom · 17/06/2025 07:22

Yes, I really enjoyed Emma on the goop podcast, she has an interesting story of how she got to where she is. Herself and Gwyneth both agreed getting to where they are was by having the right teams around them. Emma also has an extremely wealthy husband, which does seem to be a common theme with all these female founders we are hearing about.

MrsLeonFarrell · 17/06/2025 07:22

The press are reporting snippets of the podcast, in one Meghan says she is finally able to share her authentic life.

It is 5 years since they left the Royal family but a lot of her public chats still seem harm back to her experiences in the 18 months she was a working royal. It is tedious and makes her seem stuck in the past.

What happened to her new era of joy?

Why not grow a business that is rooted in California instead of doing traditional British food badly?

At this point it seems the Royal family have moved on but the Sussexes don't seem able to. It is increasingly sad.

ButteredRadishes · 17/06/2025 07:13

Herself.

I thought that.

I'm expecting a home reality TV show in the next year featuring the family, children and all like Ozzy and Sharon did.

I really do think this pair are running out of money making ideas and are getting more and more desperate.

They have a need to stay current and can't envision a world where they fade into the background, hence constantly changing the goalposts and narrative so I think if a company came to them with such an idea, for the right price they would consider it

They don’t surprise me. It was always going to happen. Next it’ll be M writing a ‘book’ whining about the RF.

Thedom · 17/06/2025 07:29

I don’t think I could name anyone who is as inauthentic as Meghan Markle. Even just claiming she is authentic is as inauthentic as it comes.

There is no "era of joy". The pair of them are stuck in the past.

The only thing left for them is "At Home With their Royal Highnesses".

I agree. I really don’t think Meghan listens to help or advice from anyone, dead or alive 😆

That’s it. She maintains expressions for a few seconds too long and it just looks weird. I don’t know anyone in real life who does that.

Wildbird12 · 17/06/2025 08:00

All this must be hard on Charles, William and their family.... Not knowing what that pair in California will say or do next. And A and L are the niece and nephew of William - it must be hard to see these kids you don't know (yet are connected through family) being 'used' in social media. The little 'glimpses' are teasing the public. And putting the children out there for public scrutiny.

I find it interesting that the status HRH has isn't really being affected by them. The whole debacle has really shown how status is connected to proximity to power, not in the individual.

It is very sad. I would love to believe they are living their best life but people who are don't keep harking back to or clinging to the past.

AtIusvue · 17/06/2025 08:10

Just having a look an Emma grede, the podcaster who Megs is with today.

  • So she started Good American with Khloe Kardashian.
  • She’s part owner of Skims with Kim Kardashian
  • Shes part owner in a household cleaning products business with Kris Jenner and Chrissy Teigen.

Megs is now going a collaboration with Chrissy.

Megs is completely wanting to be in that Kardashian billionaire world. She was marked out from the beginning that this was her angle - but it clear that that’s the trashy world she’s in now.

The kardashians have achieved their success by selling every part of their private lives though, constantly hustling for money, to the detriment of their relationships…..they are all nightmares with men (they have the worst taste). BUT I think that’s what makes them focused and accessible to lots of women. Megs trad wife act isn’t going to work. She knows that now and that’s why shes starting to sell the kids . But Harry……your time may be up! Surplus to requirements and she’s got pancake mix to sell

CoffeeCantata · 17/06/2025 08:10

threesocksmorgan · 16/06/2025 08:55

whats the big deal? W&K shared a photo of their kids.
I really don't get the angst .

There's no angst. It just seems pathetic and sad.

W & C's children are royal and are being prepared for a public role. Royal children have always appeared in public.

But Harry and Meghan have left the RF and their children will not have a public role, so exhibiting them on SM is utterly meaningless and unnecessary. I know that Harry (sadly) still thinks he's royal and has even announced that he would like Archie to 'take over Invictus' from him eventually. Ha ha! That's what happens with royals - it won't be up to Harry to decide the future of Invictus.

H & M are getting desperate to hold on to the scraps of their royal connection, but it's looking very silly now.

Exactly, it’s difficult to make (lots) of money if you don’t have any to begin with.
Hats off to Emma though she is the real deal and knows how to run a successful business.

Wundy · 17/06/2025 08:20

All this talk of televising Spare and who would play Meghan and Harry has reminded me of something!

I live fairly near Windsor. There's a garden centre cafe I go to occasionally where one of the waiters looks a lot like Harry. Poor chap must've had a lifetime of Prince Harry jokes.

Last time I was there, there was no sign of him. My friend asked the young lad serving us where "Prince Harry" was. The young lad told us he'd actually left to take a job at a cafe in Windsor Castle.

I've thought occasionally that this lad, innocently going about his waiting, must have thrown many a tourist and visitor into a frenzy of confusion and excitement ... :)

Wundy · 17/06/2025 08:22

And the whole point of my post, which naturally I forgot to mention, was that this lad would be perfect to play Harry!

Uricon2 · 17/06/2025 08:29

I think Meghan finding a few grassroots "female founders" who are trying to grow a small business, talking to them and perhaps getting an expert to give some support /advice would have been more interesting and given women lead businesses a boost. I know they would have to have the resources to cope with increased interest, but that could be factored in, perhaps with a bit of investment from M.

She seems only interested in women who are already successful/rich.
