Wish I could go back and find all those posters who predicted a Kardashian-esqe social media blitz at some point in H&M's future, wonder where are all the posters who we're so affronted by the very idea of that.

People magazine and all, the uber celeb magazine.

I guess needs must with the downfall of her business efforts, \oh look, here are my kids whose privacy we have decided to forego for the greater good of taking the heat off what a crap business woman I am'.

Leaked it to H&M more likely, who promptly told him. Just like details in the court case over MM's letter were leaked to him, leading to MM's legal team getting a telling off from the judge. Just like Scobie knew immediately about the risable "near catastrophic car chase" and was the one to break the news within minutes of it apparently happening.

So many lies.

No private family of four needs a 16 bathroom house. Extravagance is a costly way to live.

Can someone explain this to Edward and Sophie please. Their house has 41 bedrooms and according to Google, cost £250,000 to run in 2019.

Crikey. Well they don’t ‘need’ that either, but they’re not making fools of themselves trying to pay for their lifestyle.

I would hate to live in a house that has 41 bedrooms, that’s more like a hotel. 😲

What's wrong with that?
Zara & Mike Tindall sold first baby pics to Hello magazine for mega dosh and they're in the royal fold. In fact they do lots of articles for that mag. But no one complains about that.

Still don't know what their kids look like facially. Harry & Meghan's that is.
Lots of famous ppl have their children's faces pixelated or blank them out, I think it's a good thing

Downfall! Really not.

I do find the conspiracy theorists on here who keep on that Meghan didn't give birth really really awful.

Stupid whataboutery.

Did the Tindalls write a book, created numerous documentaries and issue several court cases all about press intrusion? Are they complaining about their privacy? Have they claimed that they and their children are in danger in public? Have they filed false police reports about having their privacy invaded by paparazzi? Have they complained about the tabloids, then put for more details about their private lives into the public sphere than any tabloid editor would ever dare to do? Do they represent bereaved parents and lecture the world about the ills of the internet, and work in a quasi political role to have free speech on SM platforms controlled? Have the Tindalls done anything this hypocritical?

LindorDoubleChoc · 07/06/2025 14:45

The running costs of Bagshot Park are paid for by the crown. I'm saying that Edward and Sophie don't need that size of property either, just as an aside really.

All blatant greed and ostentation turns my stomach a bit. I had a little gip when I saw an article about Josh Widdicombe's "Cornwall house" (as opposed to his London house) earlier today as well.

I have no idea if she was really pregnant or not (how would I know?) but it doesn’t help stop the rumours when her bump looked like a bag of laundry and moved up and down like it was a separate appendage. Maybe she just had a very wobbly, flexible bump I don’t know (my own were pretty solid so I’m just going by my own personal experience). Either way, it was an odd video to put out four year’s later. I was more wtf is Harry doing?!

Yes, absolutely

And then Harry whines endlessly about the palace placing stories - which actually I can well believe, but makes him look stupid once again

No one complains about it because they’re not hypocrites who said they’d never do it.

Harry and Meghan have said that. Repeatedly. They’ve even lectured others and said don’t do it. And now they are. Repeatedly.

Haha what a ridiculous reason.

We don't see the children's faces, they aren't in the royal fold, yet they can have pages of criticism, but the likes of Zara and mike can sell their souls and that's fine! And go on reality shows like I'm a Celebrity too. Or do an advert selling milk to the Chinese with a mock up of Buckingham Palace and footmen
I've heard it all now. The minor royals trade on their positions all the time.

I hope Harry and Meghan continue to do this, if only to annoy people like you and others who criticised my post

Good for them. Hope they had a fun time at Disney

Oh dear. Is it hurting you that H&M are showing themselves up to be massive hypocrites and international laughing stocks? Im not annoyed. I'm delighted, and I too hope they keep making fools of themselves.

Are Zara and Peter doing this while criticising others for doing so? Are they doing this while slagging off the RF for money to whatever magazine or chat show would pay for their tawdry stories? Are they invading the privacy of the RF while demanding privacy of their own? Nope. No comparison.

It’s the breathtaking hypocrisy. Saying they wanted their DC to have private lives and no titles . Harry saying he worries about the Wales DC .
These aren’t simple holiday snaps but blatant money making ones .

Fundamentally this is exactly it! They are utter hypocrites.

Agree, and it is an apples and oranges comparison, Zara and Mike are not HRH Princess Zara and HRH Duke Mike Tindall.

Nor are they selling photos of HRH Princess Leah, HRH Princess Mia or HRH Prince Lucas.

I think selling baby photos is tacky, but 'selling their souls' is a bit extreme.

If only Mike and Zara had plonked a creepy heart emoji over the kids' faces. Then, no souls would have been sold and it would all have been positively admirable and good for them-ish.

LarkAscendings · 07/06/2025 15:28

Tontostitis · 07/06/2025 09:46

They could live happily on the £5 mill Meghan was worth before marriage and the £30+ mill in Harry's trust funds. Plus he gets £100k for each speaking gig I know no one wants her but if that's not enough perhaps stop buying awards and wearing designer clothes in the Hertz showroom or a Jamaican 3rd row cinema seat? Most of us let alone ex Royals could live very, very in fact beyond comfortably on the money they already have. Those children will also have school trust funds from the family and they rinse their supposed 'charity' foundation for 95% of its donations. Plenty of money by any standard. They really don't need to make SouthPark a reality show.

Their issue will be security. They very much need it and it will very quickly cost millions.

While at the same time criticising others for doing the same, perhaps or speaking out at a charity campaign to protect children from social media? No? Just Harry and Meghan then.

Yeah, the whole 'angry', 'annoyed' and 'pissed off' thing is silly. Mostly, folks are just laughing at the blatant hypocrisy of it all.

It will be interesting to see how certain posters react when the Sussexes show their kids' full faces. It's surely only a matter of time.

Weepixie · 07/06/2025 15:42

That last bit - your ego is as shallow as theirs and you sound as if you’re about 9.

CreationNat1on · 07/06/2025 15:53

I think Harry and Megs want the kids faces to be outed by someone else, so that will allow them to sell the family image which is more valuable than just the two of them.

PurplebeadedFendi · 07/06/2025 15:59

I've just remembered that Meghan compared herself to Ariel from the Little Mermaid during the Oprah interview, ie, that she lost her voice to marry the prince. Lily's cake at Disney is a Little Mermaid cake. Is it really for Lily, or for Meghan to send a message?

Do they really 'need' high level security though?

They're basically Instagram influencers.

HiRen · 07/06/2025 16:17

The Meghan on Instagram now is exactly the same as the Meghan on Instagram pre-Harry. The other three are living in her world. Meghan is all about Meghan, and that’s why they couldn’t hack it in the UK (because of who Harry is) or the RF. Now the security situation is settled, she will be working on him to “move on” with his life, which has to be in the USA with his children. I don’t think much of anyone who has a social media presence, and even less of those who live a derivative life of pretence off the back of it. But she’s free to do whatever she wants: her life and her children. I think it would probably be a relief for all involved for ties with the RF to be definitively cut. She’s moved on, the RF has moved on - it’s just Harry who will feel adrift. Someone needs to put him out of his misery at this point. It’s a kindness.

I think they do, yes. Especially the kids. Children have been kidnapped for much less money than they have.

Anyway Harry has to pay for his own security now - £4m a year. So you can see that kind of lifestyle that they have to finance.

Mylovelygreendress · 07/06/2025 16:36

Something puzzling me ; why is Archie wearing long trousers and long sleeve t-shirt while Lili wears a skimpy sundress and no shoes ?
Same as their Christmas card ( I think) , Archie in jeans and fleece and lili in a summer dress .
