Wish I could go back and find all those posters who predicted a Kardashian-esqe social media blitz at some point in H&M's future, wonder where are all the posters who we're so affronted by the very idea of that.

People magazine and all, the uber celeb magazine.

I guess needs must with the downfall of her business efforts, \oh look, here are my kids whose privacy we have decided to forego for the greater good of taking the heat off what a crap business woman I am'.

Thanks for the clarification @sualipa

David was hacked.

He did not call the media and insult the committee. He vented his frustration in private.

Anyone who has had a long career has also suffered setbacks and disappointments. And vented. Would you want texts/voicemails/emails of your less polished moments on the front page of the Times?

Though he admitted that he said that private - honours should go to those that least want them rather than grifting tax dodging rich boys with an overreaching sense of entitlement. Though given some of Charlie's mates that would be par for the course.

That's not how the Honours system works. It helps to give money to the Tory party, though.

He scowls and looks blank or angry nearly all the time now. At least he used to laugh smile and seemed more energised on those days. Now he looks like he’s dragging himself around. He does look happy at Disney though.

How strange.

I think totally the opposite. I think he looks free

But it's all about perception isn't it?

MaturingCheeseball · 09/06/2025 20:37

come on now, @BustingBaoBun , you can’t honestly think he looks like a man winning at life at the moment! He does look cheerful when he’s in some clowning around situation - Disneyland, with Nacho, twerking with Meghan (although that was four years ago) but other than that he invariably looks petulant, uncomfortable or just plain grumpy. He said himself “Pa won’t speak to me because of my book” - if he was living free and without a care in the world he wouldn’t keep on whining and complaining, would he?

BustingBaoBun · 09/06/2025 21:01

I disagree

No surprise there. I don't call being with your little children at Disney 'clowning around.'

I think he looks happy. That's my perception which may be different to yours!

Personally I'd have hoped a long term nakedly ambitious player marked with a tax evading past yet with a simultaneous covetous eye on the long game might have had more nous. And more discretion.

He’s like an overgrown adolescent boy. He needs a proper job. He seems to want to play like a big child and takes no responsibility for anything. He’s hardly setting an example of any sort of work ethic to his kids.

I think there must be a lot of photos and footage you haven’t seen then. Apart from the odd smiley moment he normally seems like a seething pot about to explode.

slinkiemalinkiey · 10/06/2025 08:47

What happy man continually fights court battles - the amount of paper work and mind work and stress it must create, the time absent from family, interviews moaning about the outcomes, slating his father all the time🤷‍♀️. His mind is preoccupied with his version of his past. I find many people who leave the UK to live elsewhere are like this. They seem to think the UK stays as it is. There are generations now to whom Diana must seem as long ago as Anne Boleyn.

MaturingCheeseball · 10/06/2025 09:05

If Harry is blissfully happy then he should tell his face. If this is him living his best life then I can’t imagine his expression if things go badly.

And who goes round with a permanent smile on their face? Do you? Victoria Beckham is always picked on for her expressionless face but she is obviously happy too.

Besides you haven't spent all day eith him, you only see the random images you do or snippets of a video a moment in time. Sometimes he isn't smiling, sometimes he is. Doesn't really tell you much unless you know.him personally to know he isn't happy.

MaturingCheeseball · 10/06/2025 11:27

Ok, if you say so. He’s having a ball and is as happy as Larry, with ne’er a backward glance at his old life Hmm .

And whays wrong with looking back at your past or talking about it? Good or bad? Many of us do if and still be happy in our current life. There are threads on other boards here where people comment on their past negatively but then say they are doing better now.

Or do you think people should never look back and never talk about it?

@Spectre8 . H and M must be proud of your continued support despite the rest of the world seeing them as lying, manipulative, petty grifters .

MaturingCheeseball · 10/06/2025 11:52

Again, yep, he looks quite content. Don’t know what that BBC interview was all about…

Thedom · 10/06/2025 12:07

Harry might be happy at home, hopefully he is, but he rarely looks happy when he is the plus 1 on the Meghan Markle roadshow.
