Funnily enough I always think both Archie and Lili look remarkably like Thomas Markle rather than Spencer/Windsor/Ragland.

The only time I've seen Archie's face is when he was a baby, being carried in his mother's arms to meet Desmond Tutu.

Anyway, I’ve got a good idea of what she looks like from the old released photos plus the ones where they thought they were being clever obscuring her face but then not doing a very good job as you see a bit here, a bit there. It’s probably a good idea they’ve started to use stickers over their faces to be honest. Hopefully they will keep doing this if they insist on having them on social media.

She’s got Thomas’ small almond shaped eyes, hooded lids, high forehead and prominent brow. The last time I saw a proper photo of Archie I thought he also strongly resembled Thomas but they’ve been a bit better at hiding his face so I’m not quite as sure as to what he looks like.

I’m not sure where you have been, but yes, their faces are visible on pictures coming from the Sussexes. Did you miss Meghan and Harry’s christmas card? You also seem to have missed Archie being carried as an older baby by Harry and as toddler by Meghan.

I imagine people who are happy to accept honours (and DB seems to be v happy) do it in the knowledge of how the system works.

David Beckham was spurned for a knighthood before and was not happy about it . He was caught using that phrase!
Everyone seems to have forgotten this now though as he has been elevated to the rank.of national treasure who can do no wrong.

In 2017 emails sent by David Beckham were leaked to the press and published. In them he was annoyed that he had not been granted a knighthood, and bring critical of the honours committee for omitting him. He called them "unappreciative c*s" and insisted that he didn't "care about being knighted". He also expressed annoyance that people like Katherine Jenkins were receiving honours. Beckham himself said that the emails, while not fake as such, had been doctored.

Anyway, after 8 years of penitence he’s finally got what he wanted. All those hours in the queue weren’t wasted (although it’s not Charles who decides on who gets these honours of course). 🤣

To those of you who mentioned Lilibet being the favourite child. I would’ve thought Harry would’ve learnt from his own childhood being brought up as the spare. He was clearly damaged by this and I’m surprised he isn’t making sure he doesn’t do the same to his own children or is it Meghan as usual overriding any of his wishes. In their case it isn’t the older child being put forward but the younger one.

He may not see it. It’s usually people looking from the outside who can see these things. I don’t think M is unusual in favouring her daughter. I can think of three people I know personally who excessively favour their dds and put them on a pedestal at the expense of their sons. All of them are actually quite nice people otherwise. I don’t really understand why they do that.

Yes it is really sad to see. In my culture it is the DS’s that are favoured over the DD’s. I think it leaves lasting impact on the child and a feeling of inadequacy. I would’ve thought Harry would be the last person to do this after what he has been through in his own childhood.

The family picture was their official Christmas card and it appeared on the sideboard of Germaine Greer (I think) during a magazine photoshoot she was doing. There was also a letter accompanying it that was also on display.
