I've embarrassed for Meghan saying that her arranging takeaway food on a plate is the same thing as what Figs Heather Hasson has done 😬

I had never heard of moon bumps until MN.

Unfortunately I have read the posts!! Just don't understand why it's even being talked about after all this time!! (Nothing more from me, off to watch Spurs/Man City)

Aren’t Tottenham Hotspur were playing Man United?

My (born 1890s) grandmother used to say with great Edwardian style "It is better to be looked over, than overlooked"

Not always Nan, not always😁

(Mind you, the only Royals she ever really liked were Queen Alexandra ("so beautiful and kind") and George VI (" a brave man who Did His Duty")

Her views on Edward VIII were as expected and she was known (back in the 70s) to mutter "He's getting to be like his great uncle, The One Who Went" about Charles. The night Edward VIII's body came back for burial though, she cried her eyes out.

Edited

Your nan was quoting Mae West.

Why are you going over stuff that happened 4 or 5 years ago. Is there nothing new you can criticise them about?

New pics of her bump from 4-5 years ago. M seems to want us to be talking about this

TheAutumnCrow · 21/05/2025 21:52

Sorry about the mangled grammar before.

It’s the drama, I love it!

Meanwhile, Spurs v Man Utd latest …

Obviously don’t understand football either as it Spurs v Man Utd 😉

MauiMellow · 21/05/2025 22:00

Wow the lies people spout to justify their daily bullying of these two people are really something. Not to mention the victim blaming.

Oh they're victims alright. That's their entire modus vivandi.

Spurs won! 🏆

“Victim blaming means holding the victim of a crime or harmful event, either wholly or partially, responsible for what happened to them. This can involve suggesting the victim's actions or characteristics contributed to the harm they experienced, or that they should have acted differently to avoid it”

FenellaFeldman · 21/05/2025 22:31

Whereas projection is where you blame all your shortcomings, mistakes or undesirable traits on to others.

MauiMellow · 21/05/2025 22:35

Still does not justify bullying followed by victim blaming.

StartupRepair · 21/05/2025 22:37

Something that baffles me about H and M is how, in so many intimate moments there is always someone there to take a photo.

I don't know what the evidence is for them bullying, I've seen various accounts of it, meted out against employees, mainly. They do constantly blame others though and it's been years now. I think Meghan has moved on a bit, what with the jam pancake mix selling, but Harry hasn't.

Isn't that strange? Who took the photo of them canoodling in the kitchen?

MauiMellow · 21/05/2025 22:48

Anyway I don’t blame individual posters as we have to live with all sorts in this world unfortunately. But it’s mumsnet who should do a better job of removing the bullying and victim blaming posts not to mention the outright defamatory lies (which would mean removing 90% or more of some threads on here).

FenellaFeldman · 21/05/2025 22:50

@MauiMellow if you see defamatory lies, then report them. I'm sure these things are against talk guidelines.
Bullying is usually removed, I think.

MauiMellow · 21/05/2025 22:51

This thread demonstrates that bullying is not removed.

FenellaFeldman · 21/05/2025 22:51

Then report any bullying.

MauiMellow · 21/05/2025 23:01

I’m not going to individually report dozens of posts here not to mention thousands across numerous threads. The volume they have let it grow to means it really should be addressed by mumsnet.

Then it's clearly not "bullying", just a different opinion to yours. Criticism isn't bullying. High profile celebrities do come in for criticism, particularly if they are controversial and constantly self promoting. I think it's unrealistic just to think that people won't be critical, just because they have royal titles.

BasiliskStare · 21/05/2025 23:07

@MauiMellow - It is simple - if you see an unpleasant / bullying post just report it. I have in the past and MN are good at reading reports about posts.
When you say this thread shows bullying posts aren't removed - did you actually report any of them? If you on this site you can read the rules and how to report any posts. If you can't be bothered to report yourself then MN aren't mindreaders.

Anyway back to the point.

ETA as you are reading you don't need to report all posts - just report the one you are reading . & if you read another one - report that. It really is quick and easy to do so.

All best
