I've embarrassed for Meghan saying that her arranging takeaway food on a plate is the same thing as what Figs Heather Hasson has done 😬

No other ‘high profile celebrities’ have this level of vitriol thrown at them and their children. It’s gone way past ‘criticism’. There are also outright lies being posted on this thread to justify the bullying. Mumsnet needs to look at this problem seriously and not stick their heads in the sand.

FenellaFeldman · 21/05/2025 23:17

@MauiMellow you'll need to contact MNHQ then.
We keep telling you to report posts which you think break talk guidelines. MN usually respond really well and delete., in my experience.

Butteredtoast55 · 21/05/2025 23:42

Off at a tangent, on the moon bump stuff. The other night one of the Eurovision judge representatives was holding her bump just like Meghan held hers with her hands on the top and bottom. It's the only time I've seen anyone else do that, and it looked oddly incongruous, even though she was beautifully dressed and put together.
I'd post a photo if I could find one.

Seriously?! People have an issue with how someone holds their OWN bump? Wtf 😂

I don't have an issue with it, but it was remarked upon a lot at the time as looking awkward. It's now more common as a photoshoot-type pose I think so maybe Meghan was a trend setter.

If you really want to see what bullying and vitriol looks like you only have to vist the threads concerning Catherine started by and contributed to in vast numbers by Harry and Meghans perfect example of no holds barred bullying and vitriolic fans.

But perhaps you’re already aware of them and have just conveniently forgotten about them.

MauiMellow · 21/05/2025 22:48

Anyway I don’t blame individual posters as we have to live with all sorts in this world unfortunately. But it’s mumsnet who should do a better job of removing the bullying and victim blaming posts not to mention the outright defamatory lies (which would mean removing 90% or more of some threads on here).

Who is the victim ?

No need for me to answer this I assume as it surely can’t be a serious question

You want me to defend seeing right through your posts and making you aware of it?

Come on now, you know that’s not going to happen. In fact you have more chance of getting a packet of pancake mix and a jar of strawberry jam from the As Ever online shop.

Something that baffles me about H and M is how, in so many intimate moments there is always someone there to take a photo.

Ha! Exactly this.

Ok but as Meghan isn’t a victim ( except of her own behaviour) I don’t know who you mean .

Demi Moore did it decades ago.

MrsFinkelstein · 22/05/2025 09:50

New night shift clocking on for some pigeon chess I see.

NewAgeNewMe · 22/05/2025 09:54

Meghan and Harry put themselves in the public eye. If they don’t want people to comment (commenting & criticism are neither hate nor bullying) then the answer lies with them.

Please can you point to the specific lies on this thread that you have come across as well as examples of the vitriol at the children which have distressed you.

The claim that the thread is full of scurrilous lies is the only lie that I can see.

HonoriaBulstrode · 22/05/2025 11:37

I think 'vitriol' needs to be added to the Bingo card.

'Fawning' and 'forelock tugging' seem to have fallen out of favour.

BigAnne · 22/05/2025 08:42

I think Demi Moore's was one hand/arm covering her breasts and one holding her bump and she was naked. Not that it matters really, people can pose how they want.

Will do. I’ve got the script master list somewhere.

I last saw it down the back of ‘but Andrew’ next to ‘why do you care?’

BigWillyLittleTodger · 22/05/2025 14:04

Prince Philip needs to be added to the script, he’s become a fan favourite of late.

Thedom · 22/05/2025 14:10

oh gawd, now the Daily Mail have written, what I assume is, their first ever column and acknowledgement about the online rumours around a 'moonbump' and 'fake children'.

I guess Meghan got exactly what she wanted when she posted those photos, bringing that idiocy into the mainstream media. She really has no shame or boundaries.

I have noted that the DM pick themes and content directly from here over the last few months.
