I've embarrassed for Meghan saying that her arranging takeaway food on a plate is the same thing as what Figs Heather Hasson has done 😬

And yet you can’t keep away.

I wasn't aware this thread was titled 'Let's rehash all that bollocks about moon bumps and surrogacies' - if it had been, I'd have avoided it!

I think that you obviously haven't read the thread. Or perhaps you have misunderstood. We are mostly of the opinion that the surrogacy and "moon bump" stories are fake, and nonsensical.
Perhaps you haven't read the posts.

I thought the thread was about a podcast and not that the moon bumps were fake 🤷‍♀️

They haven’t because I’m quite sure if they had they’d have commented on the missing posts.

Why are you going over stuff that happened 4 or 5 years ago. Is there nothing new you can criticise them about?

Because when you look back in hindsight with everything we have observed from H and M, you look at it differently. For example, the photo call at Windsor for Archie. At the time I naively thought they had changed their mind about photos and had it at Windsor because it was close to home. I now realise it was orchestrated because they wanted something grander than hospital steps.

Is being critical of the moon bump conspiracy nonsense not allowed?
You can believe it if you like, but we are free to challenge such claims.
You can't police the thread because we mostly disagree with these claims.

Unfortunately I have read the posts!! Just don't understand why it's even being talked about after all this time!! (Nothing more from me, off to watch Spurs/Man City)

Give me the happiness of the hospital steps and William putting the car seat in the car over the dourness of that bloody awful banqueting hall or whatever it was at Windsor Castle. It looked as if no one had two bob to put in the meter and get the lights on.

Erm... someone who doesn't post here often tried to start that up. Look at following posts and the deletions of said poster..

Ah. Clearly misunderstood the whole thread.
We are challenging the whole moon bump theory, but people on here are mostly disagreeing with it. However, we're doing so in a very reasoned way, and if that's not for you, then football does seem a more appropriate option.

Such genuinely happy scenes! Unpretentious, no-one dressed up, just really normal!

Yes! I really warmed to them that day. There were so many people camped out on the doorstep of the hospital, which must have felt so intrusive, but they were very gracious about it. I always remember saying when asked about her feelings and she said something about how all new parents must feel. I have noticed since she always does that when she asked about herself or her feelings, talking about how others in the same situation must be feeling.

It is very odd really, isn't it, those critical of M&H defending them against accusations of the moonbump stuff and then being called out for promolgating the moonbump stuff?

Make it stop, please 😂

It’s really annoying isn’t it, no doubt it will be used against us regular posters on another thread and twisted to say we are discussing nonsense conspiracy theories when in fact we are defending Meghan against said internet rumours from a random new poster!

Oh let them get on with it. It's because Harry and Meghan are getting harder and harder to support.

Mylovelygreendress · 21/05/2025 20:14

FenellaFeldman · 21/05/2025 19:24

Plus, they love it.
I suspect that not being discussed would be a problem for Harry and Meghan 😉

I think it was Oscar Wilde who said that the only thing worse than being talked about was not being talked about.

My (born 1890s) grandmother used to say with great Edwardian style "It is better to be looked over, than overlooked"

Not always Nan, not always😁

(Mind you, the only Royals she ever really liked were Queen Alexandra ("so beautiful and kind") and George VI (" a brave man who Did His Duty")

Her views on Edward VIII were as expected and she was known (back in the 70s) to mutter "He's getting to be like his great uncle, The One Who Went" about Charles. The night Edward VIII's body came back for burial though, she cried her eyes out.

While I do think Meghan gave birth, I do also think she wore a moonbump, particularly at the beginning.
Apparently it’s common in certain circles as it gives the nice baby bump look, rather than the has she just put on a bit of weight look.

Anyway, the only reason I say that is because of the pics of her in the purple and red outfit, where it seemed to have dropped to her knees.

And then she buttoned/tied up the cardi, whereas other times she had the coat flicking going on.

I think it’s clear from their first appearance with Archie that she had actually been pregnant, you can see it in her face.

Tbh I’d have considered wearing a bump at times. I remember the stage where my clothes didn’t fit, but any maternity clothes were too big - the elasticated band round maternity jeans was too loose for example. Or the cut of a maternity top/dress looked wrong.
If I was being photographed for the world, and found that the dress I was going to wear hung weirdly on a bump that wasn’t quite big enough for it yet, I’d have been very tempted. Especially if I also thought that there’d be people who’d happily criticise me for my bump not being big enough to be real.

I don't think anyone would have criticised her for having a small bump!

I meant more in terms of “where’s her bump? Is it even real??? She should be bigger at this stage! It must all be fake!!”
