I've embarrassed for Meghan saying that her arranging takeaway food on a plate is the same thing as what Figs Heather Hasson has done 😬

Does it sort of alter to photos as well.

Although the photos are sort of blurry - some of them don't even look like them -like this one where Harry's head looks too long and pointed whereas Meghan looks like a young Yoko Ono.

I thought this was a pic of young Thomas Markle at first…you’re right, the blurry distorted pic doesn’t make them look like themselves.

Thedom · 20/05/2025 07:54

I think Meghan has become one of the biggest Instagram trolls in an effort to get attention and have people talk about her.

Lunde · 19/05/2025 20:14

Well the Highgrove pop up shop at the Chelsea Flower show looks better stocked than "As Ever" 😂

https://www.instagram.com/p/DJ1Qad2N3um/?img_index=1

That's gorgeous. Wouldn't be able to afford anything in it but still gorgeous!

If only Meghan had decided to sell California items rather than things associated with the UK. I'm sure it would seem more authentically her if she sold foods she really loved rather than cut price versions of what royal shops sell. She might also avoid the glaring problem she has when comparisons are made, that Highgrove jam funds charity work whereas hers funds herself.

StartupRepair · 20/05/2025 09:05

So after congratulating herself as a mother, she is now wishing the fans a happy anniversary. Look forward to her continuing to miss the point of celebrations and milestones.

RandyRedHumpback · 20/05/2025 09:57

Why is Meghan celebrating the anniversary of the "spectacle" wedding on 19 May 2018? I thought the "real" meaningful "wedding" or vow exchange or whatever it was was on 16th May. Isn't that the one she should be celebrating, considering she practically stuck two fingers up the the UK over the official one?

Mylovelygreendress · 20/05/2025 10:09

Very good point @RandyRedHumpback .

“For me I was like I've been making preserves, I've been giving fruit baskets, I've loved to garden before I had a house and a garden like this. In my bungalow I had a lemon tree.
And in a way all these years later, because that's been the undercurrent of how I like to show up for people, to have that still be ingrained in how I show up through the business where the hero product really starts as a fruit spread.
I think it's interesting in talking to so many different entrepreneurs, and a lot of the origin stories are women who do not come from a lot, do not have a big MBA, go to business school…”

😂what is she saying? Is she being paid by the word?

TheAutumnCrow · 20/05/2025 13:28

She sure loves envisioning making speeches.

Uricon2 · 20/05/2025 13:29

If she were growing word salad in this garden, she'd be Monty Don @shockthemonkey

"But financing your own company forces a very different kind of rhythm. It invites you to choose patience over speed. And guess what, eventually, with a strong vision and all of that care on the details - oh, that garden will grow.' "

What vision? What details? Actually, what products, apart from the most fleeting appearance?

TheHerboriste · 20/05/2025 13:34

“Running a business is like gardening.”

She’s making veiled excuses for why it’s so fallow. And admits she has no investors.

The showing up for people, giving fruit basket shite, it's all me, me and oh, me again. Utter self absorbed drivel. I do wonder If this is a Cali/USA thing or just Meghan.

I mean, come on! What does this nonsense actually mean?! What was that sitcom years ago with Neil the hippie in it? This sounds like something he'd have said when spun out on weed.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand how anyone thinks this woman is intelligent and articulate. I'm not being snarky - I genuinely can't comprehend how anyone can take her seriously.

smilesy · 20/05/2025 13:43

“Running a business is like gardening.”

Does she genuinely like gardening or is she just cos playing the Princess of Wales’ “love of nature” and the King’s love of gardening? Is she trying to emphasise how “royal” she is again?

She talks absolute cack with a confident, actressy, voice. People are easily hoodwinked into thinking she's articulate because of the way she says it and the sound coming out of her mouth, not listening to what she's actually saying. Unless she's doing her vocal fry voice, in which case, it's just all round insufferable.

Neil's letter to the bank manager:

Dear Fascist Bullyboy,

Give me some money.

Boomshanka ( may the belly of your woman be ripe with your offspring),

Neil.

Neil wins.

Wundy · 20/05/2025 13:59

That has really made me laugh @RandyRedHumpback (the letter to the bank manager bit).

RandyRedHumpback · 20/05/2025 14:05

Here you go, @Wundy here's the full sketch. I bet Meghan's team don't collab half as well as the Young Ones 😂

That's gorgeous. Wouldn't be able to afford anything in it but still gorgeous!

I fancy one of the Highgrove Garden tea towels. £8.95. Quite affordable as a souvemir, or a gift for someone.

HiRen · 20/05/2025 14:13

Running a business is NOTHING like gardening ffs! Especially not a start-up like hers. It's the absolute opposite. It's only like gardening when you have an established, solid business with years of achievement behind you, solid partners, happy investors, every base covered. At that point, maybe you can take a back-seat in day to day events and can tend to it in an oversight fashion. And even then you have to be prepared for unforeseen circumstances and a changing world which your employees may not have experience of.

This woman is so full of shit. Everything she utters is an complete waste of time. I'm cross with myself for giving her any headspace.

I love the Founder/Flounder title of thread.

I watched the Instagram reel of her with the flowers... Isn't it so incredibly indulgent to release a little video of yourself doing something nice, set to music...

foreverblowingbubbless · 20/05/2025 14:32

Poor Meghan. Yup it requires some sustained effort.

I know nothing about growing a business, slightly more about gardening. Gardening involves hard work, patience, persistence and a willingness to accept failure and learn from it even when you think you’ve done everything right. Gardeners (IME) are usually very nice people, they gladly share their tips and successes.
