I've embarrassed for Meghan saying that her arranging takeaway food on a plate is the same thing as what Figs Heather Hasson has done 😬

She thanked other people for their support but made no mention of her husband. She didn’t actually wish him a Happy Anniversary. There’s definitely something wrong with that woman.

If you compare the Valentine's Day post with todays the difference is very marked.

It's like it's Happy Anniversary to their fans 🤷‍♀️

Which mother of a 6yo and a 3yo, with a job that says makes for such a hectic life that she has to work hard to find time to be a mom and a wife and a friend, has time for this sort of shit?

In fact, which woman has time for this sort of shit?

I think I'm not the audience she's aiming this at. Whatever she was trying to do, it's just made me cringe, shocked, that anyone would make this public

This is why she has no time to cook and has to elevate a take away 🤷‍♀️

Trouble in paradise?

I could be wrong and would be happy to be wrong, but yes. It is an odd, odd anniversary message (OK, I know most of what they do is odd) but "Meg sniffs flowers" "Meg with the kids".

Dunno. Mainly the anniversary thing.

Mylovelygreendress · 19/05/2025 15:24

Where are all their supporters who insisted the DC would never be used for publicity ?

They're all on the but ANDREW thread talking about the Yorks 😂😂😂

She's doing the same as the murdering wife did in Netflix A Deadly American Marriage - long slow game of preparation.

Do they only own a Polaroid instant camera from 1976? Why are their photos always so blurry?

I think she may own a Lomo camera. Quoting from the shop.lomography website, 'Lomography' includes the 'special edition dressed in cappuccino colors [which] oozes retro charm and classic riviera style', and it is very much a thing.

Or rather, was.

Which means you can now buy them for around a hundred dollars. One of my kids had one, with similar results.

Maybe the elevated fans are celebrating their leader with packaged Meghan crepes, runny spread and a sprinkle of magic royal dried flores 🌺

Well the Highgrove pop up shop at the Chelsea Flower show looks better stocked than "As Ever" 😂

Did she get the bloody thing because it comes in beige?

Further evidence, if it were required, of what this marriage is about for MM: it's something to present to the outside world for likes and envy and adoration. It showcases her 'achievements': the husband, the children, the locations, the clothes, the royal bits (I actually can't believe she's included those given what she has told us about her feelings for her time in the RF), her carefree joyful self.

It's all about her, so the world can tell her how wonderful she is. (TBH I think 99% of social media is exactly that, but she really is extra with the calligraphy and the pinboard - pinboard!). She's a Hallmark/Athena poster version of royalty.

StrawberryWasp · 19/05/2025 20:44

Why would you post photos of the back of your children’s head on your own mood board?

This is an excellent point. Proving (if we needed it) this is designed for the world's adoration not something for them.
So weird.

The calligrahied lyrics 😂

FenellaFeldman · 19/05/2025 20:46

Someone said her Coat of Arms was on there? Please tell me that's true 😂

FenellaFeldman · 19/05/2025 20:46

Also...who took the picture of them smooching in the kitchen?

Yes the coat of arms is there - top right. But interestingly her "side" (the bird) is very clearly defined while Harry's side (a lion) is faded and looks erased

‘My husband’… her property and therefore a reflection of how wonderful SHE is.

I’ve been saying exactly that for years. It’s always been your brother, your grandmother, your dad. They only exist relative to her. They don’t have names or identities or titles beyond what they are to her. She is the central character and everyone orbits around her.

The journalist who interviewed her for one of the incisive magazine pieces about her (could have been Allison Pearson for The Cut?) said they thought she lived her life with a producer in her head telling her what to do next, what to say next, how to look left/right, what emotion to display etc. This mood board is exactly that: a very carefully curated selection of snapshots where she gets across what the little producer in her head is telling her to get across, and how. I wonder if this really is her living her best life, what she’s always wanted.

I agree. What a terrifying void she must have in her soul.

Does it sort of alter to photos as well.

Although the photos are sort of blurry - some of them don't even look like them -like this one where Harry's head looks too long and pointed whereas Meghan looks like a young Yoko Ono.

And that's how it's done. It looks beautiful, effortless and casually country chic and not a fancy bit of calligraphy of elevated pancake mix in sight.

I think there is a lot of truth to that and that is why she sometimes glitches in public showing the wrong emotion or inadvertently showing her true feelings behind the mask.
I don't think she knows how to behave a lot of the time or have any idea of what is normal social behaviour . She is a fascinating person to try to analyse.

MrsFinkelstein · 20/05/2025 07:28

Don't really have much to say about the pin board, but I am clearly not the audience she is aiming for.

I'm just once again really disappointed at the now blatant marching of her children's images. She has scan photos, baby photos, and at least 1 full face image.

There is zero reason to feature the children at all.
