More and more these manic threads are popping up on mumsnet, wild posts and theories and then hundreds of posts brimming with excitement about catching them out or exposing them. It’s like a game or a hunt. Have many of you crossed the line from interested to addicted?

isn't there already countless threads about his security?
one question I have is when did Meghan say the whole country was racist?

@NewAgeNewMe Totally agree, the issue for them is they expect everyone to believe their content and very few people do, so the derision follows.

I don't think they expected the backlash from their public hand wringing, nor did they expect people to be repulsed by the timing of their major media interviews and Harrys book, they lost a lot of supporters after the Oprah interview and again after the Netflix series, then ridiculed after Harrys' biography with Harry becoming a laughing stock, compounded along the way by the way hi wife treats him with little respect in most of their public outings (until recently when she realised it was a bad look for HER).

Harry now going down the conspiracy route stating his family want him dead as a dodo, yet wanting a reconciliation with a family you are publicly stating want you dead. No one is believing that's what you really think, dude, lying again for the clicks. (the dead part not the reconciliation part).

They are still desperately searching for relevancy which they need for their 'brand' to have any traction at all.

Very few are buying what they are desperately trying to sell in their daily soap opera drama..

On the money with this comment

Harry is very careful with his words when it suits. He is right that he didn’t technically call them racist as he didn’t use that word. He said they had concern about skin colour.

He didn't say anything. That was Meghan. Who was not the one who had the conversation in the first place, which allegedly occurred when they were still in the dating stage. Harry wasn't present for that part of the interview with Oprah. When he joined them and she asked, he said he never wanted to discuss it. He didn't refer to whatever "it" was either in the subsequent 4 part Netflix doc or in Spare. When asked about it in January 2023, he denied MM had accused the RF of racism and said the press had made it up. But still he put his family through 18 months of torture over it and picked up the Ripple of Hope Award.

Here's an article (from H&M's publication of choice) with quotations from Ripple of Hope's Kerry Kennedy about why they received the award:

"They went to the oldest institution in U.K. history and told them what they were doing wrong, that they couldn't have structural racism within the institution;

According to Harry, he’ll only get it when he is here by invitation. Is that lies? If it is lies, I don’t know why he’s allowed to spread these lies.

Edited

He’s always lied and been found out but this doesn’t seem to stop him.

RandyRedHumpback · 15/05/2025 09:37

If it isn’t true, it could easily be cleared up by a statement from someone in charge of all this. I think because that doesn’t happen, no one knows what is true or not. So you you know that Harry will get security every time even when not invited? I didn’t think the public would be privy to this info, but you are?

Yes, people in charge of security are really going to be making statements willy nilly about what they do and don't provide to VIPs and why and how. That won't give any useful information to would be wrongdoers at all, will it?

Kerry Kennedy, president of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation, said she was "proud" to be honouring Meghan and Harry at its event on Tuesday night for their “heroic” stance against the “structural racism” of the Monarchy

Munnygirl · 15/05/2025 09:43

Thank you Randy for clearing that misconception up

You'll have to speak to the junior BBC journalist whom he gave the interview to why she didn't challenge him on these statements, or fact check them later.

The BBC have now admitted their reporting failed to meet standards when discussing this interview.

It. is probably more of Harry fudging the facts.

No one really knows what the security arrangements are, which is only right and proper, he knows Ravec, the Met or the RF will not be in a position to disclose his security arrangements.

Anyway, his wandering around London streets knocking on random doors puts all his security 'fears' to rest, he isn't scared for his life, it appears he is only worried about the cost of his personal security team which he has to personally pay for now.

MrsFinkelstein · 15/05/2025 10:04

"Whatever the cause, my memory is my memory, it does what it does, gathers and curates as it sees fit, and there’s just as much truth in what I remember and how I remember it as there is in so-called objective facts. Things like chronology and cause-and-effect are often just fables we tell ourselves about the past. The past is never dead. It’s not even past." Prince Harry, Spare.

Harry admits he may not remember or recall things accurately, or even understand them in the correct context.

ie., makes shit up.

IDipYouDipWeDip · 15/05/2025 10:07

Some people seem to be saying Harry is lying about security and they know this as fact. Others seem to be saying that the public don’t know anyone’s security arrangements. So which is it? I think the truth is that we don’t know exactly what Harry or anyone else gets in terms of security, for obvious reasons, and therefore none of us can say that Harry is lying or telling the truth.

I think by the very fact two courts have come to the same decision about Harry’s security should tell you all you need to know.

Exactly !

What we do know from the courts is that Harry has a bespoke security arrangement in the UK, we do know he is not automatically eligible for 24hour tax payer funded armed close protection security, which is what Harry wanted and is pissed off he is not getting.

I’m not sure about that. Great lengths will be gone to in order to protect the institution. Harry is out of favour and the institution matters more. It’s a murky world.

Don’t be so ridiculous! The court will be far more informed than you or I of the nature of the case. They deal in facts not conspiracy theories

I wouldn’t trust anyone when there’s so much at stake. No one is truly independent.

I hope Harry remains safe, but I’m glad the public aren’t paying for more security. It’s bad enough that the public pays for what it does for him and the rest of the Royals.

Worse things have been done to protect people and I believe a lot could go on to protect the institution. We will never know the half of it.

What’s that got to do with the impartiality of the court?

Why is this even being discussed on this thread anyway 🤷‍♀️

Experts aren’t impartial and aren’t above influence and orders. It would be silly to think they are. None of us have a clue what goes on but occasionally we do get glimpses and insights into this world and it’s murky to say the least.
