Harry's new interview

Harry has just given an interview quite a long one. I only heard a snippet and i'm totally incensed. Harry has said he doesn't know how long Charles has left. Who says that on TV for the whole nation to hear. What is the matter with the man. He is an absolute disgrace.

Can we please stop with the ginger insults. It gets tired and I've put up with it for 70 years and I'm definitely tired of it. His hair colour has nothing to do with any of thise.

Their security is paid by tax payer - it cost millions. The recent court case re. harry cost tax payer over £400,000.

Does anyone remember when Harry and Meghan left the UK saying they wanted privacy?

😂

Yes. I also remember Lily Allen saying she was done with singing.😁

Same old, same old.🙁

Agreed.

Harry should remain silent and dignified.

He opens his mouth and makes things 100% worse.

Today's interview was cringe.

Seems it's not Harry's turn to have The Ginger Braincell at the moment.

Why bring his hair colour in? Completely unnecessary.

MrsPlantagenet · 02/05/2025 19:12

I hope so.

He spoke about Charles with great respect in Spare, people seem to forget that.

And Camilla? I bet Charles really appreciated his wife being sniped at.

It really is not a shocking thing to say about an elderly man. The context is that Charles isn't talking to him, and that Harry wants to make amends because life is short.
I can't envisage any situation where I wouldn't talk to my children tbh, even if I didn't approve of the way they live or of their spouse. It must be absolutely awful for Harry that his father won't speak to him, but seems to have forgiven the horrific transgressions of his brother, Andrew.

Just like his mother's diatribe in the Panorama interview was accepted without question, you're believing him that his father won't speak to him and everything else he says. He knows that the RF won't put someone up to contradict him so he can say what he likes and there will always be a few who believe him. As he has been involved in this court case against the Crown his father probably feels he should keep out of it, or did Harry want Daddy to use his influence to sway the verdict as H and M wanted?

lippylippy · 02/05/2025 19:15

Jesus, Charles may well be older and riddled with cancer, but it is horrible to go on national
telly and proclaim his imminent demise. I mean, we are all going to die, but it is really scary when you are staring it in the eye. Try to have empathy and do not be a cock Harry.

notgettinganyyounger · 02/05/2025 19:16

Does Al queda only want to kill him while in the UK? I know spelling wrong! But surely they know where he is, living freely doing the school run and mooching around the beach, but no threat there?

Come on who likes the step parent on Mumsnet. She was Charles mistress while he was with Diana or is that all forgotten about now?

Princess Anne did have a security officer with her at the time of the kidnap attempt - Jim Beaton

They go abroad for jollies and leave their children on another continent, letting the world know well in advance.

Someone actually concerned about their security would not do this.

What about the bit where Omid Scobie was told that Charles was the royal racist and duly included that in Endgame?

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 02/05/2025 19:17

If only someone had said this to him at some point when he was growing up. There’s bugger all chance of his wife saying it to him and no-one else appears to be speaking to him.

Maybe so, but the OW’s husband doesn’t have to accept the barbs from his children.

Her father is a rotten man and so is her sister. Vile people.

so is she. Pure bad blood. A damned family blood line.

It's decades ago. They are a long-married couple, who seem to have been faithful to each other. Which suggests they learnt from their mistakes and have done better since.

Diana also had affairs, and if she had lived may have also been in a long term, faithful marriage (or may not!). In which case what she did decades ago would also be irrelevant.

I am glad I don't get my stupid mistakes of 30 years ago constantly brought up.

To be fair, Charles did stick to the same mistress during his first marriage, whereas Diana had a series of lovers …….

SnoozingFox · 02/05/2025 18:21

Charles is 76 and will be 77 in November. He has also been receiving ongoing treatment for some type of cancer. A man born in the 1940s was expected to live to around 72-78 years, on average. He is elderly, however you want to slice it.

Whatever the age no-one should be discussing their parent's health issues on TV, just to make a few bucks. When C3 does die and W becomes W5 I hope there is no invitation for the Markles to the coronation.

sualipa · 02/05/2025 19:21

Harry is more human than all these stuffed suits will ever be with their protocols and made up stuff.

When she simpered 'there were three in this marriage' I wonder how many thought like I did 'and the rest!'.

What about Andrew’s housing?

Does the King have no power over that?

It’s all a bit convenient the way these things are organised!

Quite simply no as long as he sticks to the agreement and pays his rent he stays the King can encourage him to break his lease he can't force it and he already has one pissed off relative blabbering around he doesn't want another
