Harry's new interview

Harry has just given an interview quite a long one. I only heard a snippet and i'm totally incensed. Harry has said he doesn't know how long Charles has left. Who says that on TV for the whole nation to hear. What is the matter with the man. He is an absolute disgrace.

He's also delusional, blaming the removal of his permanent security on some kind of shady conspiracy to keep him here rather than acknowledging the UK public have no responsibility to pay for the security of individuals who aren't representing the head of state. There are current working members of the royal family who don't get the level of security that he feels entitled to.

PrincessSoles · 02/05/2025 18:07

He can forgive 🤣🤣🤣

I’m assuming that KC was advised not to talk to him in case any private conversations ended up in the court room.

the fact that Harry made public the conversations going on the the literal last moments of the late Queens life and made life difficult for his father, whose mother was literally taking her last breaths shows that Harry should be exiled. He’s literally shown that nothing is off limits to exploit for his own whining.

What a load of old cobblers. This “literally” didn’t happen.

@Viviennemary

My parents are the same age as Charles and not in good health. I’ve said the same thing about them. It’s simply a statement of fact.

It’s funny how someone so apparently unimportant and inconsequential lives rent free is so many people’s heads.

Marylou2 · 02/05/2025 18:08

Just watched it. Lazy, over privileged whinger. Not a loss to the UK.

How big of him. Add "deluded" to entitled and thick. He seriously thinks he hasn't done anything wrong.

William will soon be Regent, and probably king before 2025 is over.

I was a bit worried about that statement the the King put out the other day about cancer support. I did think it may be a hint about his health starting to wobble.

Pianoaholic · 02/05/2025 18:11

Just watched it on 6pm news..

Am I missing something. Harry can surely afford private security when in UK, ie he should bloody well pay for it himself.

I also thought it was a real guilt trip, saying his father doesn't speak to him, and that he doesn't know how long KC has to live. As if his dad will now pick up the phone after Harry has been weeping and wailing on tv.

derxa · 02/05/2025 18:11

SnoozingFox · 02/05/2025 18:06

His sister in law and father have had CANCER. And still this utter prick thinks it's all about him.

Exactly

Frannieisnthappy · 02/05/2025 18:11

Sounds like someone who has a lot of regret. Hindsight is a beautiful thing and all that.

I’m not so sure they arent talking to him because of the security challenge, more likely because him and Meg are massive blabber mouths if the price is right.

What a very sad situation.

How’s it a load of cobblers? Harry printed in his book the exact conversations that happened between him/Charles and William after Philip’s funeral and also the conversation on the phone with Charles about why Meghan wasn’t allowed to come up on the plane to Balmoral.

It really is not a shocking thing to say about an elderly man. The context is that Charles isn't talking to him, and that Harry wants to make amends because life is short.
I can't envisage any situation where I wouldn't talk to my children tbh, even if I didn't approve of the way they live or of their spouse. It must be absolutely awful for Harry that his father won't speak to him, but seems to have forgiven the horrific transgressions of his brother, Andrew.

Well said; I totally agree with this.

I quite like King Charles but I don’t think he was equipped by his upbringing to be a particularly good father.

And it’s not a good look for KC if he talks to Andrew but not his own son! It’s tantamount to saying; I don’t care what you have done but loyalty to this family is more important than any of that “shady business” you have been involved in!

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 02/05/2025 18:14

He is truly delusional why should the British taxpayer pay security for a private citizen who lives in California

And you’re right about his comment about his father OP, disgrace

Horticula · 02/05/2025 18:14

Maddy70 · 02/05/2025 18:00

Eh. Charles is an elderly man. An entirely understandable thing to say about someone of that age

What, publicly on the TV, if your father is a king? Of course you don't say it in those circumstances, totally thoughtless and selfish, presumably designed to try to make Charles feel guilty. What you may say in private is different.
Harry is dreadful, talk about washing your dirty linen, every time he opens his mouth he comes across as more despicable. Why does he think anyone wants to hear his whinging. If he was my son I'd have cut him off years ago for what he's done to the royal family.

BeaLola · 02/05/2025 18:14

Entitled whinger- America are welcome to him and I hope he does have to pay all the costs for both sides. There are far more important things he could spend his time on

I feel sorry for King Charles & William

I'm sure Meghan will be getting out her flowers to sprinkle on something for him to welcome him home ....

I don't think KC is elderly. People live far longer now. Elderly is 80s

Zuve · 02/05/2025 18:15

Sad really,

Theunamedcat · 02/05/2025 17:58

We don't know he has forgiven his brother he has cut him off financially he allows him to join them at church but maybe that's a dig too

Even the King has no power to prevent someone from attending a Church service ( not that he gives a fig for the Church, despite being its titular head).

PrincessSoles · 02/05/2025 18:16

I think he's been taking interview advice from Uncle Andy!!!

The minute Charles snuffs it Harry will be back like a shot.

Besides the point I know but when he does he'll be spinning the whole situation to his own advantage.

And also besides the point but BBC news turns into Hello magazine the minute Harry is mentioned.

He might well be and it would be only right and proper for him to be at the funeral. Nobody would argue with that.

But I cannot see the relationship between him and William becoming any less frosty. Harry has made his position clear - he wants nothing to do with a Royal life. After Charles is no longer here, there is no compulsion for William to have any sort of relationship with his brother if he doesn't want to. Harry can pop off back to California and do whatever it is he does which appears to be very little.

Say what you want about Meghan and I'm not a fan, but at least she is trying to earn a living for herself and her kids.

cramptramp · 02/05/2025 18:19

It’s true though. That’s why he said it. I think it was a reasonable thing to say.

Justmovehousethen · 02/05/2025 18:19

This guy needs to stop doing interviews.

Each one getting more embarrassing than the last.

Your Dad doesn’t talk to you because you tried to bring him down along with the rest of the family. You publicly called them racist ffs and did an awful Oprah interview.

God knows what else went on we don’t know about.

Big baby.

luckylavender · 02/05/2025 18:15

I don't think KC is elderly. People live far longer now. Elderly is 80s

Especially in that family, where they tend to live to 100+
Not to say they all will, but the probability is a lot higher than average. Cancer notwithstanding.

EsmaCannonball · 02/05/2025 18:20

He's also completely out of touch with real life and the political temperature. Does he really imagine that right now Keir Starmer would think it a good idea to divert taxes so that a pair of mid-level California influencers can have a highly-trained security team on permanent call in the UK? Would that be a vote-winner?

Aside from that, just how miserable can someone so fortunate be? All his problems seem personality-based rather than actual material issues. I guess it doesn't help when you have Iago whispering in your ear, stoking all your grievances.

SnoozingFox · 02/05/2025 18:21

Charles is 76 and will be 77 in November. He has also been receiving ongoing treatment for some type of cancer. A man born in the 1940s was expected to live to around 72-78 years, on average. He is elderly, however you want to slice it.
