Harry's new interview

Harry has just given an interview quite a long one. I only heard a snippet and i'm totally incensed. Harry has said he doesn't know how long Charles has left. Who says that on TV for the whole nation to hear. What is the matter with the man. He is an absolute disgrace.

Can't it more urgent for Harry just now?
The King stopped talking to him in
phone calls from America allegedly because all Harry did was badger him for money. Interesting that when he loses the court case he is suddenly overwhelmed by a desire for a reconciliation with his family. Could it be that if he doesn't get money or increased security from the King before he dies, Harry knows he'll never get it from Prince William?
It's the same tactics as before - promise love and making up; promise the opportunity to see his grandchildren; promise to forgive all wrongs done to him - if only the King will do what Harry and Meghan tell him to do.
I think the King has reached the 'I don't care' stage. I don't blame him.

The RF wanted a private funeral. The public funeral was in response the the public hysteria

She wasn't married to Charles so it wasn't his responsibility. He should have protected his children.

MyPinkSwan · 02/05/2025 21:31

I totally get your point, not a crazy thing to think or say! But perhaps a bit insensitive to say it on tv. Bit blunt 🤷‍♀️ given that his father will most likely hear about it.

Alittlewordinyourear · 02/05/2025 21:31

No one in the royal family will talk to that man child. He has a history of shooting his mouth off for cash and the juicier the gossip the better . He has zero right to speculate on how much time his father has to live. All just the usual headline grabbing from the spoilt petulant prince

A very dysfunctional family indeed. I am really over them at this point.
As previously stated, I've never heard or seen anything like this from their European counterparts.
Absolutely shameful and unbelievable!

Edited

It sickens me when people make excuses for them and their terrible behaviour. I am not well travelled but I have heard the same thing about other royal families in Europe.

He tried to. He wanted them to stay at Balmoral in private. The media tore into him. And Tony Blair backed the media.

It wasn't the RF's choice. As a constitutional monarchy they took the PM's advice.

The prime minister wanted the children on display

Well he said he doesn't know cos he doesn't. If someone has his illness and at his age then of course people will wonder how long he has left. There have been comments of similar effect by posters on other threads here wondering how long he has left as King. But that's okay for other people say those things but not him 🤪

My nan had dementia family would wonder how long she would have left, my dad had it and he was not as old (in his 70s compared to her at 90) and we thought he would live longer, both passed away a yr after their diagnosis.

So again what's the issue? At some point we all wonder how long we or our loved ones will live

IcedPurple · 02/05/2025 21:33

I've just read that 'statement'.

Wow.

He's managed to smear the government, the legal system and his own family. The 'media' too of course, but that's old news.

I repeat what @wordler asked. What does he think he is going to achieve with this? Why alienate the only people who can help you? Does he seriously think Yvette Cooper is going to investigate RAVEC on his behalf?

He is completely divorced from reality. And there's nobody left to talk sense into him.

Wakemeupbe4yougogo · 02/05/2025 21:33

How Harry sleeps at night, I'll never know. When my Dad had cancer, I did everything I could to make his life as easy/comfortable as I could. And he died with me by his side knowing that he was loved unconditionally and going to be missed forever.

After today, I honestly don't think that Harry knows what love is.

I live in Spain. King Juan Carlos abdicated after one too many scandals. It's not limited to the windsors.

Harry is a better person than any of the royals. He's only talking about his lived experience with the most chaotic family in the UK.

This is not the case, unfortunately. ‘Kanga’ ( Dale Tyron) was his mistress in parallel with Camilla for several years, like Camilla married to one of his friends. When she didn’t make the cut after the Charles/ Diana divorce, her husband divorced her , and she was v eventually committed suicide by jumping from a window.

For accuracy’s sake, she didn’t die from the jump out of a window (she claimed she was pushed but I think that was dismissed due to her mental state).
She died a year later after falling ill and getting septicaemia.

MichaelandKirk · 02/05/2025 21:35

Both Markle and Harry have lost the plot and scrabbling around trying to be important. Shame on them.

It wasn't Spain Denmark possibly I am going to have to look into it.

DeffoNeedANameChange · 02/05/2025 21:35

I don't have any idea of numbers here. What's the cost of all this security he wants vs the cost of all his multiple lawsuits? (I suppose he has won at least one of the lawsuits hasn't he? So maybe they're actually a net earner for him?)

IBelieveinSomething · 02/05/2025 21:35

Sometimes these threads makes me change my mind. He has security in the uk which is all he can ever be entitled to. International security is his own concern. He made it worse for himself with his kill count.

I still don’t like Charles though and his revolting behaviour. He deserves for both his children to turn on him for all that he has done. It’s just the way it works. William will be the same. Money and privilege and power. Corrupts.

LipglossAlly · 02/05/2025 21:19

First of all, Harry did offer to pay for his own security.
Secondly, being entitled to having security when being born in that kind of position and being exposed to that level of threat is not a"Royal perk" ( non- royals can be also entitled to life- long security).

Lastly, there is nothing "old" nor "tired" when it comes to citing other public figures who are also entitled to life- long security.

You are clearly more informed than me.
I thought I'd read months back Harry saying he had offered to pay for this onw security?
and yes, of course other people non royal get life long security.
I think his whole stance on this is that HE IS A ROYAL and therefore is entitled to security paid for by us?

I didn't mention the lettuce and former PMs or leaders of political parties- that was another poste.

EasyTouch · 02/05/2025 21:37

Harry can't stop himself from triangulating.
And now he's using the BBC as indirect Flying Monkeys in order to send a message to his father.

This is the third person in only a few years that he seems very keen on centering himself in their end of life.
He'd be a cunt if he was half as warm and had even a twentieth of one's use.

Charles is a good, caring man.

If by revolting behaviour you mean Camilla, the fault was he was forced to choose a virgin bride and to 'get a move on' and he was too weak then to stand up to his parents.

😂

DD is adopted. You have no idea about how dysfunctional families can be. Small children left alone for days. Inadequate food, nappies not changed, parents too drunk or high to provide any sort of care. Children getting themselves up to go to school in unwashed clothes, because at least at school someone will care about them and give them food.

'The most chaotic family in the UK'. No, not by a long, long, long shot

Even Google’s AI search tool says “it's clear that the relationship didn't continue after his engagement and marriage to Diana”.

And the Norwegian RF...OH WOW!
