I think William was driving him to church if memory serves? I don't see anything wrong with that tbh. Andrew's allowed to go to church. So what if he hitched a lift with William? It's not like it's happening every week is it?

I did not intend to sound like the thread police!
but I was intrigued that many of the same posters who accuse others of shoehorning h and m onto every thread and often use the .. but Andrew are now talking about w and c !
as the title said “ where’s the outrage about Andrew”

obviously this thread is actually a vehicle to criticise all royals that aren’t h and m .

I never said anything about the book in the opening post when I started the thread.

Makes a change to have a thread that is not all about the same 2 people. There are plenty of those for you Jeff.

Apologies after reading the last few posts of the previous thread that posters mentioned the book , and with the follow on title I assumed that this would be again part of the topic!

Completely agree. I'd add that I don't think it's possible to overestimate Andrew's arrogance. If he has broken laws (which I'm sure he has, or has sailed extremely close to doing) he will justify it to himself and to whoever is listening as "but you see it was all in furtherance of the best interests of queen and country". I truly believe he considers himself above the law, specially anointed, untouchable. A king, if you will. He will have been treated as such by people around him all his life. Little laws such as traffic regulations have never applied to him. Big laws such as giving of evidence in civil trials or handing over of documents during discovery all covered by royal prerogative.

Also agree with pp re the lack of caring about optics. He couldn't give the smallest hoot what ordinary people think of him. He's utterly oblivious. He's the type who would marvel with confusion at the things ordinary people might do, such as taking the tube at rush hour or queueing up to get into a club or doing the Christmas shop in a mad Christmas Eve crush.

And of course he and Fergie are a couple (whatever that means). The only reason they won't have remarried will be financial: keeping money aside for their daughters, wrapped up in trusts, out of reach of whoever might have a claim on it.

I really thought they’d remarry after Philip’s death so yes there will be a nefarious reason why they haven’t.

If Andrew turns himself into the FBI, his legal defense team has a good case for having him labeled of unsound mind.

Just read the article linked above re the forthcoming book by Andrew Lownie.

And this is why I think William, if not Charles, will have Harry's and Meghan's titles removed in order the sever links to the institution. This behaviour pulls the rug out from under the sacrifices and "hard" work of the other members of the RF, including children who are raised with massively restricted freedoms (compare Eugenie/Beatrice's freedoms to William's; Archie's and Lilibet's to George's/Charlotte's/Louis's). You cut them out like a gangrenous wound.
