The royal family

Harry and RAVEC - claims he was trapped by RF

smilesy · 11/04/2025 19:04

Okay. So first of all thanks to everyone on the last thread for a really civilised discussion about Harry and his security. The Telegraph has an exclusive article where Harry claims that his security was removed to “trap” him in the RF. I’m really sorry but for some reason I am unable to archive Telegraph articles at the moment. Could anyone help?

I just want to know which hand has the olive branch and which one has the sword. The text from William and the conversation about him in Netflix shone psychologically light on how Meghan has emotional control in certain aspects of Harry's life. I can't remember verbatim but it was the he's your brother nothing to do with me whilst simultaneously displaying her anger and disgust at even the mention of Williams name. It was very parental blackmail

He’s been told to by Meghan? Just a guess. He’ll do anything for her. His treatment of his family have shown that over the last few years. Apparently the late Queen said that he was a little ‘too in love’.

That was the Queen saying the two words that a Queen should never utter .

I hope you are ok now.

I also don’t think that William actually sent a text to Harry that sparked the faux outrage in the NF show. If you are grey rocking you simply don’t engage. May have been a text on William’s behalf but I doubt it was actually from him.

All good now thank you and looking back, it was a great life lesson x

I don’t think Meghan will be at all attractive to a Billionaire. I know one and I know quite a few multi millionaires too. Their partners vary in looks and ages but one set of personality traits these partners all seem to share are loyalty, candour, devotion and respect to their wealthy partners.

Meghan has publicly proven herself to not possess these traits.

People in the media sometimes question Bezos’ choice of partner in Lauren Sanchez, citing her age (he could get someone younger) her terrible tarty fashion sense (he could get someone more stylish) and bad cosmetic surgery.

But Lauren Sanchez has proved herself to be the most devoted, loyal and loving partner to Jeff Bezos. When they are together in public he seems to be so happy and content and confident. He struts around like he’s the man and Lauren did that to him, she gave him that confidence. She has never disparaged him or his family publicly, she proves her loyalty, love and devotion daily. She must give him absolutely everything he wants, unconditionally. No wonder he appears to be so happy. That’s what billionaires want. Looks come second.

If the Sussexes divorce Meghan won’t have any ties to the Royal family. Her children won’t have positions of power within the Royal family either.

And at 43, Meghan’s looks are sadly only going to diminish.

They can’t trust H&M not to mediarise any contact they do have, H told an interviewer about a private family zoom call with KC, there was all that performative outrage between H&M in the Netflix programme about a text sent by W after Oprah, but not revealing the contents of course. And Meghan alluding to the “royal racist” without naming names saying “that would be damaging to them” or similar. Even the dog bowl/necklace story sounds like it has some details missing. Perhaps they think by holding back the actual details it is not a betrayal of privacy but by alluding to these things in a sensationalist way, it encourages the viewer to come to their own conclusion about what was said/the intent of the person which is probably worse/different to the truth.

So I totally get why the Royals are grey rocking all the way, sad as it is.

I mean even "the mercy dash" to London to see Charles was announced by Harry's PR to ensure a huge gaggle of press waiting at Heathrow when he was whisked away in a Met police motorcade (helpful to his security case). Nor did they mention that he was probably coming to the UK anyway as one of his (numerous) privacy actions against the press settled that week - 3 days after he met Charles.

Harry is a huge hypocrite - he pretends that privacy is soooo important. But only his own privacy as he is happy to sell his family's privacy if Netflix offer him enough money!

Meghan belittles the monarchy. It’s given her everything she now has but she has no respect for it. Beyoncé gets her close to the A list. She doesn’t care that it’s the fact she married into the RF that enabled her to get close to the A list in the first place.

Meghan never wanted the monarchy with its stuffy old rules - unless they made her Queen. She wanted to be Hollywood A+ list royalty!

Very true.

He has managed to slip in and out of the UK several times without being noticed, the last instance being a few days back around the RAVEC hearing/ Ukraine day trip...most people didn't know he was in London until day one of the hearings or just possibly the night before. I don't think there is any footage of him at the airport in/out for the US and there's also little to zero footage of him in/out around the Lviv flight.

The mercy dash, with all the attention is a bit of an outlier and it probably suited H to play up the concerned son angle.

He can definitely stay mostly under the radar when it suits him.

I agree with this. Meghan refuses to stop the z-list tactics that were useful when auditioning for small cable show parts to raise her profile.

Stuff like

  • calling the paps/backgrid to tell them where she can be papped
  • pushing herself to the centre of photos
  • power moves to push ahead of Harry/partner to be first
  • staying too long on the red carpet and having to to be pushed along
  • leaking stories and releasing multiple PR stories a week
  • merching her clothes and jewellery
  • clapping back at every negative story

True billionaire wives are discreet - although they might wield power in the background they do not execute Meghan's obvious moves

Didnt he also say I am ready to step in to help out with RF duties whilst KC3 and C were sick - so deluded.

Harry’s strange ‘wow’ reaction to the Beyoncé text was so fake I thought he was being sarcastic at first.

I thought exactly the same thing.
Just looked at the clip again and it's probably just very bad acting that makes it look so, along with the long, "meaningful" stare into the camera lens: "Have you got that take?"

He was probably hoping that he would be mobbed by the press to bolster his security case that having to give "notice" "endangers" him - but the Met called his bluff and provided security anyway and kept the press at a distance

Was the mercy dash not due to Harry attending some award ceremony later in the week and it would have looked bad if he hadn’t seen his father ? He probably expected to be given more than 20 minutes !

One of the criteria for being attractive to a billionaire is that there is nothing monetarily that these guys can't afford.

So if they want someone pretty, sexy, funny - there will be enough women who meet their criteria who ARE ALSO discreet, loyal, fun, intelligent.

What they are also able to do is make life SUPER easy. There's no level of service they can't buy - chefs, PAs, nannies, physios, masseuses, elite travel, etc.

So they have a "frictionless" life - which means bringing a somewhat chaotic individual who isn't private, and who is inclined to start a fight in an empty room who, in Meghan's case, would have THE WHINIEST ex in existence, wouldn't exactly be appealing.

notimagain · 15/04/2025 14:22

If I recall the "dash" correctly Harry arrived at LHR ...just for info VIPs arriving there can easily (though possibly for a price) avoid going anywhere where they are likely to be mobbed, Met police not required

For example:

BasiliskStare · 15/04/2025 14:52

Bit late to the Rory party but apparently Rory has donated all his US Master winnings from the w/e ($4.5m) and previously his winnings from the Players' Championship this March ($4,2m) to Mencap.

So I don't think he really is M's type 🙊

If I recall correctly, that accurate and dismissive description was attributed to the then Prince Charles who apparently couldn't believe his younger son was so damned stupid and blinded by lust.

PinkPonyClubber · 15/04/2025 15:04

Onassis considered Jackie K a prize, she brought class and was basically American Royalty, she got protection in return.
MM has no class and isn’t even fake royalty now.

StrawberryWasp · 15/04/2025 15:43

I don't understand why M or anyone would want to be 'A list Hollywood royalty'.

It looks a miserable life with no privacy, press scrutiny, & selling your soul for fame.

I get why people want to be rich.
Or why people want to use a talent which leads to notoriety (like acting or singing) but being famous, papped, scrutinised, etc sounds terrible.

Surely the ultimate goal would be: be rich, lead a quiet life doing what you love?
They could have done this but they want more fame, money and the status to hobnob with other famous rich people.
It's a very sad way to live and not one which will bring fulfillment and happiness.

Also I think Beyonce is way more impressive and famous, talented than those 2 muppets.

I think the judge said they won't issue a judgement until after Easter.

Let's hope it gets thrown out and Harry gets handed the eye watering bill for the expenses the taxpayer incurred in defending this stupid 'case'.
